Fantastic stay at Encanto del Mar! The apartment was spotless, with beautiful views and a great location close to beaches, restaurants, and supermarkets. The property is very clean, secure, and has excellent parking. Easy access to water activities and a super detailed info booklet made everything simple. Would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

Communication was prompt. We arrived earlier than planned and the host accomodated us to check in since the unit was ready. Everything inside was very clean and well kept, exact to the pictures. It was a relaxing time watching the boats in the marina from the balcony. Many good restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Visited Seven Seas beach as well which was very close. Would love to visit and book this unit again!
Pool area was never crowded, gets a lot of sun.

Great stay Oct 2025. Exactly as described. Great views, plenty of green space, secured and ample parking. Great local restaurants down the street. About 20 mins to ferry for islands Vieques and Culebra. Ferry ride is cheap with AC and amazing views especially sunset. Host communication was great. Would stay here again.

Beautiful, well appointed Condo

Beautiful condo, great views and relaxing. Stayed here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we had a great time. Close to everywhere we were going. I used to live in this building 30 years ago so it was nostalgic to be back.Property is secure, full time security guards for gated entry. Condo is beautiful and kitchen is well appointed.

Welcome to paradise

Found this property on VRBO initially when I booked it I was upset because the plan was to stay in or near San Juan not knowing Fajardo was a 45 minute drive from San Juan. The mistake worked out though because every excursion that we planned to do was only a ten minute drive from the property. Not to mention we was only 17 miles from Isla de Culebra which is where my family comes from prior to moving to the states. The property provided everything that was needed and more. The view from the balcony was amazing. Unbeknownst to my wife and I the islands that we could see in a distance from the balcony would later be a part of one of our many excursions. Looking out over the water every morning while we ate breakfast was the perfect start of each day. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. The best sleep I had in years. There was no need for the air conditioners. We only used the ceiling fan in the bedroom. Other than that leave the windows open and enjoy the cross breeze. If I had to say anything negative about the property it would be that I did not see the board games that were supposed to be there, but I’m almost certain had I reached out to the host about it it would have been taken care of. Definitely looking forward to my next visit and I hope and pray that this property is available when I plan my return. Thank you Jess and Jay for being gracious host.

Post Cruise

My wife and I stayed 4 days after our cruise. We explored the rain forest and took the ferry to Veiques. The location was perfectly located between the two. The building was secure and very well maintained. Communication with the owner was always quick and easy. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Fajardo.

Four nights by the marina were great!

The condo was conveniently located near the water, with everything you needed nearby. The condo is perfect for two people with a great view and a very large outdoor pool. The security for the condo was excellent and the interior of the building was clean and safe. The condo was modern and well appointed. We would recommend this as a great place to stay. Thank you both!

Great location

This was the first time my wife and I had spent any time in Puerto Rico. We stayed for two weeks and greatly enjoyed the area and the condo. Gated community is nice and the pool is fantastic. I would recommend Joe and Jessica’s condo to anyone looking for a quiet home base but close to a lot of things to do. We jet skied, rode horses, went snorkeling, enjoyed close beaches, and ate way too much tasty Puerto Rican food at local eateries.

Cozy, Clean & Romantic

Everything was clean, well organized, and most enjoyable. The balcony and living room have great north-facing views of the Puerto Chico boat harbor, and NE to part of El Conquistador and nearby islets. This is a well-managed 5-star gem.

Location! Location!

The view from our balcony was phenomenal! We watched the boats depart and arrive from there while eating breakfast and having cocktails. Bonus was music from close by establishments. Beautiful beaches a short drive away. Many nice restaurants in the area. The El Yunque National Rain Forest was a natural wonder. We will definitely return.

Amazing condo in Fajardo!

Encanto del Mar, located in Fajardo, was a magnificent and relaxing location for us to enjoy our vacation. The condo is very well-appointed. It overlooks the marina, and the views are gorgeous. It was very peaceful at night, and the bed was very comfortable. The property security was excellent. The location was convenient to all activities, with lots of great restaurants nearby. The hosts provided great communication. We would happily stay here again in the future!

Excellent apartment with a great view of the marina. Unfortunately it's a bit loud on the weekends due to all the partying. With that exception it was excellent.

We had an amazing time in PR. The Fajardo Ocean View Condo was exactly as depicted. It had a million dollar view which we enjoyed everyday. The condo had everything we needed for our stay. And great communication with the property owners.

Encanto del Mar - A Slice of Tropical Paradise

The building is well kept and beautiful. The condo tastefully decorated, comfortable, very modern, clean, with plenty of light and with a wonderful view which we enjoyed while drinking our morning coffee. It has a large pool which in October is not crowded; not to mention the weather was great! Very impressed on how nice and neat the laundry facility was. It is conveniently located near various restaurants where we enjoyed delicious food. Our favorite restaurants were El Cayo y El Pescadito. The condo is also near various beaches: Seven Seas; Playa Colorá and Playa Escondida (clear, clean water – be prepared to walk 20 minutes); Luquillo Beach -enjoyed eating at the Kioskos; El Yunque Rainforest and even went to the Tropical Casino. We wanted to enjoy the beach, sunbathe, have fun, and relax. We were able to accomplish all in our list. The hosts Joe and Jessica are friendly and very accommodating. They immediately responded to all our messages, plus at the condo they provided a binder with lots of recommendations for restaurants and other fun activities in the area. Highly recommend Encanto del Mar. If you are looking for a wonderful getaway, look no further. Encanto del Mar is the answer!

Joe and Jessica are a married couple that love to travel and see the world. In 2019 the couple embarked on a new adventure and began hosting on Airbnb. Their condo, Encanto del Mar is located on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, in the town of Fajardo. The condo is ocean front so you will have views and sounds of the ocean throughout the entire unit.

Please read carefully BEFORE booking.
The ferry to Culebra and Vieques has been moved to the town of Ceiba, a 15 minute drive. Please note that during the weekends the area is very busy as it is next to the marina, you will hear live local bands playing the sounds of the island. We highly recommend for you to rent a car since Puerto Rico does not have a reliable public transportation system and there is no Uber or Taxi's in the area. The apartment condition is great but the building suffered damage with the 2017 hurricanes. Some areas are not fully recovered and are under reconstruction, but once you are in the apartment you will only notice the relaxing, calm, beautiful ocean sounds & views!
The closest beach and restaurants are 5 to 7 mins drive from apartment but they are not walking distance. We like to be clear with our place, what you see is what you get. We don't want you to be surprised or get bad reviews for things that are explained in our listing. We want our guests to have a wonderful experience and give our place 5 stars reviews.
