A beautiful hill house with 2 bedrooms, 1 large bathroom, fully equipped large kitchen, dining and living room with air conditioners, 2 TV, 1 car garage and a large L shaped terrace. Sleeps 6. King size bed in the master room, queen size bed in the second room and queen size bed sofa in the living room.. Comfortable rooms with distance view to Seven Seas and the light house. House fully renovated.

Comfortable relaxing vacation spot

Loved the views and the shaded porch. This house gets so much natural light which I loved. It is at the top of a hill so you get a bit of exercise if you walk to/from places. The garage was a big plus for me.

Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing time in Las Croabas. The house was everything we imagined. We had everything we needed and more. We walked to seven seas beach with a 20 min walk or 5 min uber ride. Las Vistas Cafe (next door) was the perfect fresh breakfast to start the day. It also served as the perfect Uber stop when we visited the city and the rainforest.

Great Stay

We had some issues with a wet/dirty bath mat and dirty cupboards when we got there. Thankfully the place has a washer/dryer so we took care of the mat and the cupboard was easy to clean. Overall though, the place was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic with major stores very close by and you can literally walk to the ocean for a bioluminescent excursion. Each room has its own A/C unit which was definitely welcome. And we loved listening to the tiny frogs at night. There is a popular breakfast/brunch place literally right next door that unfortantely we did not get to try. We felt very safe and were very happy to have a garage to park in every night. The owner is super nice and we would definitely stay there again.

Father / Sin trip to hike and explore

The home was spacious and secure. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. We were able to walk to some locations but many were just a short ride away. Host was attentive but not needed for we were well informed about the area. One thing to know is Sunday and Monday places are closed but you may find the occasional place open. The hikes and bio bay trips are a must. We were very comfortable despite the occasional mosquito. You’re in the tropics right? lol

Nice house and neighborhood

Dwight's house in Las Croabas is clean, well maintained with views of the sea. The neighborhood is one and two story residential which our family enjoyed. We walked to the sea and the local beaches packing drinks and food.

This was a very nice small house. Very clean and modern with a great fridge and gas range. Also a nice location with a beautiful beach close by and some very good restaurants. A little quirky though. It would benefit from a few lamps, especially in the bedroom. There is no dishwasher and no hot water in the kitchen. It would be a good idea to have blackout curtains in the bedroom because the restaurant next door has very bright lights that pop on during the night. Very good quiet AC.

Helpful Property Manage, Ideal Location!

Dwight was great. Responsive and willing to go above and beyond. We couldn't have picked a better location in Fajardo. Walking distance to restaurants and excursions.

Good layout, comfortable beds, real glasses, plates and good silverware

Rented the place with my parents. Very easy check in process, great little house. Enjoyed walking to the beach each day. Nice views from the porch. Water was off in neighborhood last day, but hey..there’s always some sort of adventure in Puerto Rico.

Enjoyable stay in a friendly neighborhood

The property was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. We loved the large shower stall in the bathroom and the kitchen was well appointed. It was convenient to park our car in the garage instead of on the street. There was air conditioning, but we really didn't use it much - just shut the windows and drew the curtains when we left for the day and opened them up to the lovely breeze when we returned in the evening and we were always comfortable. This place is right next door to Las Vistas Restaurant, a lovely place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. We are walkers and also found it to be within walking distance of Seven Seas Beach and the Cabezis Nature Reserve, if you don't mind one slight hill on the way back. I think someone in the neighborhood may have been running a cockfight on Friday or Saturday night, because those cocks were crowing just about all night, but we didn't really lose much sleep because of it. Sunday and Monday night were fine - quite peaceful in fact. If we come back to Farjardo with just us and maybe one other couple, I would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this house. It's located close to restaurants, stores, kayaking, water taxis, and several beaches. Very close to bio bay tours although we didn't do one of those. The house is modern, spacious, and well-decorated and appointed. We appreciated the beach chairs and towels, washer and dryer, and the A/C. I was able to prepare several meals in the kitchen. The porch is covered and large. There are a few idiosyncracies. There is a garage but it only opens manually from the inside. It was designed for an electric garage door opener which does not work. There is also no light in the garage/washer-dryer area. We just parked on the sidewalk next to the garage. Oddly, there is no hot water line to the kitchen sink. So no hot water for washing dishes. Bathroom lighting is dim with no accessible electrical outlet. I used the modern oven buit no oven mitts are provided. Also no water pitcher or tea kettle. My wife had to boil water in a saucepan. That said, the kitchen is spacious and well-lit with very modern appliances. The table is very comfortable for eating and the bathroom shower is fine. The master bedroom is large with great storage. The A/C units also work very well and the house is secure. We felt perfectly safe. The plusses definitely outweigh the few idiosycracies and I would not hesiate to stay here again.

Wonderful Property

We came to PR because the cruise line cancelled our trip, but we had already purchased airline tickets. We were thrilled with this VRBO. The place was clean and as described in the listing. The air conditioning was a lifesaver and it was nice that it was controllable in each room. The kitchen was clean and the basics were there. The “extras” (beach towels, lawn chairs, cooler, etc) in the large closet were great! The king sized bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of linens. The views (yes more than one view) were magnificent and since this was our first time to PR, we were happy with the location. Fajardo is a not a large city, compared San Juan, which is just what we wanted. We explored Seven Seas beach, El Yunque forest and Vieques Island for outdoor fun and made the 1 hour trip (easy) to Old San Juan for one of the days. We feel like we were able to experience the real PR, not just a tourist trap. The restaurant next door was delicious and the people were friendly. The owner was prompt to respond to my inquiries. We would stay here again.

Great for us

My family came for a destination wedding nearby. This was a great home base for us to see the rainforest, beach, old San Juan, then go to the resort nearby for the second half of our vacation. Nice place. Perfect size for our family of 4.

LOVED THIS PLACE! Our family spent three nights here and it was the best time. Such a perfect location between Seven Seas Beach (which is great!) and the marina/kayak village area where there are great restaurants. The perfect neighborhood with a restaurant next store, which we will have to try next time! The place was the perfect size for our family of four with the porch a perfect place to drink some morning coffee and see the locals walk about. The owner was very prompt in their replies and provided helpful information about the area. We definitely recommend booking your stay here!

Excellent Fajardo

The home is excellent and Dwight was tremendous to work with. The home is very clean, well equipped, nicely appointed, and has great beds. The location is perhaps the best on the island as it’s close to the greatest beaches, the beautiful rain forest, and close enough to San Juan while still giving you a more rural feel. Also, Las Vistas Cafe right next door for breakfast and brunch is as good a morning feast as ever you’ll enjoy. Thank you Dwight for an excellent stay. Scott

Peaceful and Serene

Mr Mendez, our exceptionally amazing Host is the best, friendliest and most of all, totally transparent person I have ever done business with. Very clean home with an amazing view of the pristine beach, cool breeze in the summer and beautiful music of the chirping crickets at night. We have made a wonderful start of a new journey of our life and I feel strongly that this place is wonderfully bestowed with the presence of everything that is amazing and good and we will definitely come back.
