Beautiful property, great location. Seat cushions on all kitchen chairs are extremely dirty. Hot tub had no steps to get into, emailed property management, had one by that afternoon. Misc. items dented, such as the stove, stove clicks using it- it’s not connecting somewhere, gas stove. Beds were comfortable, overall, great find for price range.

Bachelor Pad Vibes

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself is beautiful, however, it’s comparable in a sense to what you expect a bachelor pad to be like. It needs some good cleaning and a little upkeep. Nothing we couldn’t deal with while being there but the spiders in the corners, hair balls and mud on the floor, stained furniture and barstools and leftover food in the fridge wasn’t exactly desirable. Location is beautiful though!

The property was great with a few very minor issues with the exception of the door lock. Parking was great. I wish we had better instructions on the fireplace.

Memorial weekend getaway 2026

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property overall was a wonderful place to stay and a great location. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cool and cozy place to stay. The only problem we had was there were ANTS all over the kitchen countertops and all over the floor and crawling up the walls and on the end tables in the main bedroom on the main level. We went and bought a bunch of ant traps and put them out all over and had to move all of our food, etc. off the counters as they were invading everything like they owned the place. But other than that, our experience was awesome and we would definitely return for future stays at The Bucket List.

Thanks for your feedback Brady. I'm sorry the hot tub didn't meet your expectations. We went to the property after your stay and I personally reviewed the hot tub. It had clearly been used during your stay. We went through and drained all the water, thoroughly cleaned it, replaced the filter, and make sure it was perfect for our next guests. Thanks again for staying.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5 to get away and relax. The views were the best! I loved all of the natural lighting through the big windows. We also enjoyed the hot tub! The rooms were spacious but I would recommend some dressers for storage or at least some hangers. The pit boss tripped the breaker everytime we tried to use it so that was a downer for the steaks we had but ended up just using the regular grill. Overall it was a great stay and we will consider coming back.
view from the couch!
we used the fireplace a few times and loved it.

We had a great stay during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Gorgeous scenery, plenty of space. Enjoyed the hot tub almost every day. We appreciate the hospitality and may book again for next year. Could use more storage for clothing (dressers etc), including more hangers in closets. More towels also. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Great Stay near the Black Hills

The Bucket List Retreat exceeded our expectations. The view off the back porch has to be one of the best in the area! We had never been to this part of the country and heading back to this gorgeous home late every afternoon after some long drives made it even more worthwhile. We definitely reccomend to anyone heading to Deadwood or the Black hills to give this place a try!

Lives Up To It’s Name

This property is the type of place that when you walk into it, everyone gets giddy. The house is decorated beautifully, the view is fantastic, and the massive windows pull the Black Hills inside. We look forward to staying here again.

The property was great. It was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was nice and had every thing we needed. The location and views were great. The only slight issues were the pellet grill kept tripping the breaker, the hot tube was recently filled so it needed to warm up over night, and the bedding on several beds wasn't quite dry yet after washing and had to be put back in the dryer. But overall, no big deal and we were really happy with the place. Would recommend!

What a view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house with an amazing view off the back deck! Only downside is the curtains in the main bedroom don't block out the light in the morning, so I was up about 5:30 each day.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place to stay. My husband and I were there on an anniversary getaway. We had a great time and the house was wonderful for us. The only down fall was the pellet grill tripped the breaker every time we tried to use it. So we were unable to grill the food we bought, but other than that it was perfect

Incredible views of the black hills! The property was clean and easy to access. Perfect size for 4 adults snd 3 kids. Improvements could be the addition of ceiling fans in the rooms. Otherwise was a great weekend!
