College tour

We had a quick trip to Tampa for a couple of college tours for our son. This was a perfect place to stay. Very clean, and just the right size for the 3 of us. Close to restaurants and the riverwalk area. Could easily walk to Bayshore Blvd and walk the trail along the river. Elizabeth was quick to respond to a couple of questions I had before our arrival. Check in was super easy. Would stay here again.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental! It was very clean and it had everything we needed for our four day visit. It was in a prime location and we enjoyed walking to the bay in the mornings. It was also very close to shopping and restaurants. The host was very kind and accommodating! I definitely recommend staying here if you are wanting to explore the area, you will not regret it!

Great location and wonderful accommodations

My friend and I spent the weekend in Tampa and chose to stay here due to its proximity to Amalie Arena. What a wonderful stay! The hosts were extremely accommodating and provided some great restaurant recommendations. The location is great, the unit was clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Cute apartment in a great area!

Liz was super easy to work with. The apartment was clean and exactly as pictured in the listing. The neighborhood was beautiful and the home is within walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants.

Convenient, beautiful property in Hyde Park

Bob and Liz have created a wonderful space in Hyde Park, convenient to the bay front and kept clean and tidy for their guests. Thoughtful touches can be found throughout the property and the owners are quickly responsive when we inquired about small items, like a replenishment of K cups during our stay. Microwave, coffee maker and fridge in the living area. Shower tub in the bathroom. Very large walk in closet in the main bedroom. Thanks for a great stay in Tampa!

Christmas in Tampa!

Warm! Welcoming! Charming! Clean and comfortable! My husband and I wanted a clean and comfortable place to stay on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day night in the South Tampa area to be near our daughter. She no longer has a guest room in her house and with Santa coming, we thought it best if we stayed elsewhere instead of on her sofa bed! 😂 A one bedroom hotel room seemed a cold and sterile place to be on Christmas so we jumped at the chance to spend the time at Liz and Bob’s vrbo instead. Christmas Eve was quite cold for Florida when we arrived that evening. When we opened the gate, we smiled. The little courtyard was very quaint. And how warm and inviting it was to open the door and be met with relaxing music playing, lights on, cushy clean carpeting under our feet and a mild pleasant fragrance in the air. Caring, thoughtful touches were everywhere- coffee pods, creamers and sugar for our morning coffee, snacks to munch on, bottled water in the fridge, plenty of extra towels and blankets, personal products in the bath and more! With TVs in both the bedroom and living room and the ability to close the doors between the rooms, my husband and I could both enjoy our favorite shows without disturbing each other. It was perfect for us and something the hotel we have stayed at there could not have accommodated. We had no need for a full kitchen so the kitchenette complete with frig, microwave, toaster and keurig did just fine. We noticed there was also a toaster oven stored in the huge bedroom closet had we needed it. This apartment had windows on all 4 sides so it was nice and bright and gave it the homey feel we had hoped for. The heat worked great and we needed it at this time- a rarity here in Florida. We spent most of Christmas Day at our daughters and were so happy not to have to drive back to our home an hour and a half away. Returning to “our” little apartment was the perfect end to a perfect day! Had it not been for the bitter cold weather outside, we would have walked the trail along Tampa Bay just a block away. Liz and Bob are great hosts. They thought of everything a guest could need or want! Liz was very easy to connect with too which we appreciated. We would highly recommend this rental and would stay there again.

I needed an accommodation close by the Tampa Convention Center. I'm so fortunate to have found Liz and Bob's place. Located in the charming Hyde Park neighborhood, this cozy apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. You can tell that Liz and Bob care deeply about making your stay as pleasant as can be, as shown by little details such plush towels, snacks, water bottles in the fridge, and ambient music that greets you when you walk in. Overall, it was a calming environment, which helped me because I was in Tampa to take the Florida Bar Examination.Next time I stay in Tampa, Liz and Bob will have themselves another happy guest!

Great Place

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Great location, could walk to several places and along the bay. Place was just as pictured in description. Would definitely stay here again. Traveled with my husband and another couple. Check in was easy and they were able to accommodate our early check in request. Great hosts!!

Cute apartment in awesome location

My daughter and I enjoyed a long weekend here to visit my son at University of Tampa. The unit was sparkling clean, smelled fresh, and was exactly as pictured with fun but simple beach decor and bright colors. I loved the wooden blinds so we could adjust the amount of light coming in, and the mattress was comfortable with high quality sheets and towels. Liz was great to communicate with me before, during, and after our stay. The clawfoot tub is so special, and the water pressure and shower head were good. We also loved that there were 2 beach chairs and an umbrella available, we happily borrowed both and they really helped make our days easier. We loved the many food options nearby and walked to Hyde Park for dinner one night, too. It is less than one block from the unit to Bayshore, so we started each day with a walk by the water! We loved it here and will definitely stay again.

Good location, place needs cleaning

When we arrived check in was very easy and straightforward. Communication with the owner was great; however the apartment was not clean when we arrived. There was lots of long hair on the floor of the bathroom, dirt in the sink, and MANY live flies (easily 20) and dead flies all over the ground. There was also mold in the coffee maker and expired coffee creamer out for use. Needs more attention from management before more folks stay here.

Amazing Stay in Hyde Park!

Location location location. This spot is perfectly located to all the spots you want to enjoy. Walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants in Hyde Park Village and the beautiful Bayshore Boulevard. The place was very clean and would recommend to anyone looking at staying here.

Excellent location, less than a block to beautiful Bayshore Blvd great for biking, running or just strolling along the bay enjoying beautiful waterfront views! located in Historical district of Million Dollar homes, also walking distance to quaint Hyde Park Village were one can shop and enjoy 5 star restaurants, also walking distance to the Tampa Riverwalk, walking distance to the Tampa Convention Center and Downtown Tampa!
