We had a wonderful time at the villa. The owner was so gracious and helpful!! She made our trip so much better. Summer In Italy was very good to work with and made the booking, the planning and the logistics very simple. They followed up frequently to ensure we had all the information we needed.

It was everything we hoped it would be

It was everything we hoped it would be - and more. Gorgeous, well maintained, comfortable, walkable to restaurants and shops. Walk across the street for ocean views. Mena, the owner and host, treated us like family and even went to a pharmacy to get medicine for our daughter who became ill. The housekeepers who came in daily even did our laundry! We absolutely loved Villa Glenna❤️

This villa is more stunning in real life

This villa is more stunning in real life. There were 12 of us staying, all over 18 and it did not feel cramped at all. There was so much to do there. We enjoyed time around the pool, there were books to read, chess and poker sets and a piano that one of the family loved playing. We had takeaway pizza in one of the dining rooms and would highly recommend having the private chef cook one dinner for you. The chef was amazing, the food was fresh and delicious and was cheaper than some of the restaurants we went to. Mena [the property manager] could not be more helpful, what a lovely lady. She also sorted us a restaurant on the first day so we didn’t have to think about that. We were all very sad to leave. The cleaners were lovely too, they did a great job. The villa itself is in such a great spot, only a 10-minute walk to Piazza Tasso and then onto the center of Sorrento. I cannot praise Summer In Italy company enough, from the time of booking the communication was excellent, everything was easy and organised. We definitely did not feel on our own or unprepared. Will definitely use again.

Villa Glenna is everything pictured and described- and more! Mena (the owner and host) treated us like family and came to our rescue when one of our daughters needed medical help. The maids were proactive in anticipating our needs and even did our laundry! The Villa is in a great location where we could walk to shops, restaurants, and the marinas. Trust me, you do not want to drive in Sorrento or anywhere on the Amalfi Coast.

Our family of 10

Our family of 10 (5 adult couples) had the most amazing stay at Villa Glenna! The villa is spectacular - it far exceeded our expectations and is even better than the pictures. It’s very private and in a great location. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores are all within a 10 min walk, 15-20 min walk to the main town square and 20 min walk to the marina. The grand hotel right next door was a perfect spot for a sunset cocktail and photo opp overlooking the sea. We enjoyed cooking in a few nights in the well appointed kitchen and there was a wonderful outdoor dining table next to the pool that fit our group plus an indoor dining room table. The bedrooms were all comfortable with three en-suite and another bathroom between the other two rooms. We had the option to also use the annex but opted to all stay in the main house together. The villa is incredibly well decorated with beautiful furniture and art throughout. The owner of the home was our host for the week and she was lovely. She took wonderful care of us and helped arrange last-minute rides as well as a chef to prepare dinner our first night in the villa. The food was amazing! The pool was a hit with our group as it was still quite hot in September! I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Villa Glenna - it was a trip of a lifetime!

It was a beautiful house and very comfortable

It was a beautiful house and very comfortable. The position was great and we could walk to the city centre, ferries to Capri etc. Just perfect for a holiday in that region. Found the service excellent and would use the website again.

Villa Glenna had everything we could wish for

Villa Glenna had everything we could wish for. There was no view, but that was because it was in the town and therefore had a perfect location. It was extremely well equipped and nothing was too much trouble for the owner. We found the staff of Summer In Italy extremely helpful.

This was a wonderful vacation home for me and my family

This was a wonderful vacation home for me and my family. We hated to leave. It didn’t have a view but we always were able to see the Mediterranean just a few steps away on our walks to and from Sorrento center. The location was perfection, away from the noise but a short walk to restaurants and shopping. Our host was wonderful. She helped us with many of our excursions.

Villa Glenna is a beautifully kept, clean, spacious home. The outdoor area was private and secure for children to play in and the pool was a definite bonus. Kitchen had mostly everything one could need, linen etc. was all of a very good standard. Location was good but a little too far for children to comfortably walk to town. The road outside was fairly noisy (traffic) but bearable. Friendly and helpful owner. Daily housekeeper was great.

FABULOUS VILLA

FABULOUS VILLA - The location is excellent as we hardly had to use our vehicles as we were able to walk into town easily. The living areas are large, but cosy, impeccably and tastefully decorated. We are already planning a second visit to Villa Glenna in the near future. MENA our host could not do enough to welcome us, and to make our stay enjoyable. The dinner Mena arranged with Silvia our chef was excellent. Summer In Italy was a great website to book Villa Glenna, and thereafter immediately responsive with detailed accurate answers to the questions that we had prior to arrival.

FABULOUS VILLA IN SORRENTO

Upon arriving and walking into this gorgeous meticulously appointed home we (11of us) were all BLOWN AWAY! Then upon meeting the Owner/Manager Mena (Filomena) it only got better. There was nothing missing ! Safe, Private in a superb location! AC with individual controls in each room and daily maid service. Topped off by Chef prepared dinners (extra) prepared, served perfectly. We are already planning a second visit to tge Villa as we sit in the airport waiting for our flight ! YOU WILL LOVE ❤️ IT THERE!

We had a terrific 5 nights stay at Villa Glenna

We had a terrific 5 nights stay at Villa Glenna. The villa was clean and additionally there was a cleaning person there every day. From the villa, it was approximately a 15 mins walk to town, the train and the ferry. The owner helped us with every part of our visit to Sorrento, for example restaurant suggestions and reservations, arranging transportation to see the Amalfi Coast, directions to the train to go to Pompeii. At our request, she also provided a delicious dinner at the house one evening for our group. The entire staff of Summer In Italy were always professional and polite, they responded very quickly to any inquires we had as we were preparing for our trip.
