Fantastic chalet with beautiful views. We had an amazing stay and enjoyed visiting Geneva, Megeve, Chamonix and Anne’s, as well as hiking with views of Mont Blanc. Chalet is well equipped with plenty of space for family, babies and dogs!

Grand house with a grand view

Beautiful and spacious house with 4 complete bathrooms and a grand view. Hot tub was wonderful.

Excellent place to stay

Group of 12 stayed for 1 week skiing. Stayed here previously so knew what I was getting. Quality chalet, fantastic views, and nothing is too much trouble. Furniture and fitting all of a high standard and modern. We hade 3 children 12,12 & 13 they lived the mezzanine and play station. St gervaise is a great base for skiing and chalet is fantastic highly recommended.

Great location with fantastic views....

Chalet Marie Blanche occupies a great position above St Gervais. The views are amazing, even at night when everywhere twinkles. The walk into town is very pleasant and there you will find a good atmosphere and plenty of choice for dining. The chalet is spacious and comfortable. If you like cooking you may find the kitchenware a little sparse, but it wont spoil the pleasure of being in such delightful accommodation. Both host and chalet manager were helpful and attentive and made everything easy. We have already enquired about a return visit. You couldn't wish to be in a nicer place.

Dear Francesco, I wanted to inform you, that we had a fantastic time this weekend. you have a beautiful, cosy and welcoming chalet ! My fiancé really enjoyed his surprise and was impressed by your place. We ar all very happy of our time there, and we will be back ! all sad to leave yesterday. I hope, Andrew was ok with the Chalet, we put everything back in place and cleaned as we could. I was impressed by our contact, the organisation and the quality of the chalet. andrew was very helpfull and seems to be a nice guy, like you ! And I surely am keeping your contact for a next time! Stunning Views!

We had a most wonderful week staying at Chalet Marie Blanche. The views are spectacular from all angles over the hillsides and you could see the snow covered peaks of the mountains. The chalet is situated on a hillside and it takes about 10 minutes to walk into the lovely village of Saint Gervais les Bains. There are two huge terraces around the chalet, one round the three bedrooms on the lower floor where there is access to a large new hot tub. The other terrace surrounds the large lounge with dining area and fully fitted modern kitchen. There is ample parking space for several cars. We felt really at home in the chalet and we ate in several evenings or walked down to the village where there are some lively bars and restaurants. The weather was really warm during the day and cooler in the evenings. There are some small supermarkets in the village which cater for everything. All the fitting, beds and bed linen etc. are of a high standard which we really appreciated. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Chalet Marie Blanche again and are looking at dates for next year, highly recommended!

Très beau chalet aux prestations exceptionnelles, mieux que les photos. On peut accéder au centre-ville et aux remontées mécaniques à pied. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

L'hôte a bien répondu à toutes nos demandes, par contre nous avons rencontré un petit soucis de literie, il nous manquait les draps pour un des célibataires, mais nous avions ce qu'il fallait avec nous.Sinon nous avons passé un super séjour, puisque le soleil est arrivé avec nous....

Magnifique Noël 2022

Magnifique séjour chalet spacieux joliment décoré. Les chambres sont spacieuses .la vu est top et le jacuzzi un bonheur.. Un calme absolu ... les échanges avec les propriétaires fut super ... si je peux nous reviendrons

Beautiful chalet, beautiful village, beautiful ski area

The chalet has a lot of charm and is lovingly decorated. In case of questions Francesco, the owner, has answered promptly and very helpful. And also the people in the village and in the ski resorts are exceptionally friendly. St. Gervais is definitely worth a trip.

St Gervais for ski beginners

We were all beginners at skiing and so wanted to learn but also enjoy relaxing together as a family. We had a fantastic time. The Ecole Ski Francais (ESF) provided an instructor, all the equipment we could hire at the Bettex gondola station, and we were able to enjoy six days of learning how to ski. Chalet Marie Blanche is about fifteen minutes walk away from the bottom of the gondola, an easy walk down there in the morning, but one that produced groans trying to climb up the hill after a day's skiing. The Chalet itself is in a beautiful location, with great views of the mountains from the balcony. We self-catered every day and the kitchen was more than adequate. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. And the hot-tub was really important for soaking those strained muscles!

Great views. Lovely chalet with spacious rooms.

We loved the chalet - it is better than the photos! Very comfortable double beds, with small but nicely done shower rooms. Slightly surprised by the expense of accommodating our small dog and extra cost of the hot tub. The elevated position gives it great views but it would be a trek up with skis and boots so we took our car to the lift and as it was half term week we had to arrive by 9am to get a parking space. Lots of good ski areas to explore each day and the local town is very attractive. We would happily return to the chalet.

The extra cost for the dog had been pre agreed with the guests (as a special concession) and it is due to the additional deep cleaning that the presence of a pet may require to protect future guests from allergies. The same is true for the (minimal) extra cost of the hot tub.

Just back from a wonderful week in Chalet Marie Blanche

Just back from a wonderful week in Chalet Marie Blanche, St Gervais where I can't thank Francesco and Pav enough. They were a great help with knowledge of the area, ski instructors and transportation. The Chalet catered for everyones requirements and great location to the ski lifts and local town. The chalet is bright and spacious with lovely views, wonderfully clean and amazing mountain views! Well recommended, we will return as soon as we can!

Great Snow week

It was our 4th. time in St Gervais but our first in Chalet Marie Blanche. We were with 2 couples and had a great week. Lot's of snow so good conditions for Ski and enjoying the great Hot tub during the evening. The location of the Chalet is just perfect enjoying the afternoon sun. Cosy at the fire place in the evening. For us certainly a chalet to revisit next year. Perfect for Max. 2-3 couples. When the groupe would be bigger it will get bit more crowded in the Bathrooms and need some planning :) The service is great with friend Andrew close to you to help you with whatever you needed. We will sure be back next coming years.

Fantastic week in St Gervais

A great base from which to explore the Mont Blanc region. The chalet is very well located, a short walk from local shops - although rather uphill on the return journey! The elevated location has the obvious advantage of fantastic 180 degree views from large balconies on two levels. We stayed as a family of four and so there was clearly lots of room and I am sure it would be very comfortable for 2 families to stay together. The bed linen was of a high standard and cleanliness was excellent. The furnishings were of a very good standard and we appreciated the high quality audio-visual system. A separate area with a second television and games console was present which I am sure would have been well used if our children were a little older! There are plenty of activities to keep all ages entertained. The tram to various elevations of Mont Blanc, the Spa, animal park, lake Passy and several very well maintained parks and playgrounds were all short drives away. We also drove about an hour to Annecy which was well worth a visit. Thoroughly recommended. We plan to return!
