It was an amazing location and an amazing stay!

We have stayed in several condos along Destin, and this was by far our favorite! Communication was fast and on point, the location and beach were perfect! We’ve already talked about booking this specific condo again for next year!!!

Great beach getaway

We really enjoyed our time. The place was perfect for our family. Plenty of space and clean. The pool was heated and the beach was right there for us to get on and off. The location overall was perfect for getting around.

A NEW found LOVE... Excellent location, beautiful beach’s!

All I can say is WOW!! We were truly amazed at how beautiful and clean the beaches were here. The room was great, very clean with an excellent view. A great place to call home for the week for sure! We will definitely, be back to vacation here in the Miramar/Sandestin area.

Wonderful week in Sandestin!

This condo was just as pictured although the photos of the pool area don’t do it justice. The grounds were just as nice as the inside. Clean, updated, beautiful view, great location. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed. Beach chairs and umbrella in the unit. Beach was great and not at all crowded. Close to grocery store, restaurants, and 30A. We had a wonderful week with our two teen daughters. Highly recommend!

Great Condo!

The condo was clean and very spacious. Nicely stocked kitchen. Great view of the beach and gulf. We had beautiful weather and the gulf was crystal clear. Couldn't have asked for a better place.

Gorgeous surroundings!

Our family loved our stay at Westwinds in Sandestin! Some friends recommended this condo to us, and we were extremely pleased with the property. This unit overlooked the aquamarine-colored water and white beach. The unit was spacious, very nicely appointed, and inviting. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. The pool, beach access, and parking were all convenient. We would definitely return to this unit again.

Great Location, great place for a getaway.

Beautiful location steps from the beach. Unit had everything we needed. Pool area was clean and nice and had a great little spot for a hot lunch or cold drink. A few hundred yards down the beach was a great little restaurant for lunch or dinner. Beach and ocean were wonderful, white sand with turquoise water. Would definitely go back. Only issue was with check-in. Door code was wrong in our welcome email which caused a little headache but once we figured that out, it was smooth sailing.

Great Condo

The condo was very nice. Modern feel / look very well kept and clean. Plenty of space. Pool area was nice and heated. Westwinds is one of the nicer “Beachfront” buildings. Only issue I had was that I was given wrong or expired codes for parking gate and entrance to the building (by the rental management company) took 3 phone calls to get the correct codes. Other than that would definitely book there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation rental was better than expected. The pictures don't do this condo justice. The views are spectacular from the bedrooms and living room. If I had to report a negative, it would be while enjoying the balcony it is not very private, as you are in close proximity to your neighbors. However, for us this is not a deal breaker as most of our time spent on the balcony was mostly while others were asleep. The decor, comfort, spaciousness, the views, and cleanliness of this condo more than make up for the balcony not being as private as we would have preferred. The management staff was professional, friendly, helpful, and exhibited a genuine concern that we enjoy our stay. We will definitely visit again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A simple but well decorated rental for a get-a-way at Sandestin. Unit was clean, beds comfortable and everything worked as it should. The only item that could have been updated was a very old coffee maker. That said, a Keurig is present (naturally you provide your own coffee) so you're still in business. View from balcony was pleasant and there were a few beach chairs and children toys in washer/dryer closet as well. A nice unit and made for an enjoyable stay. Would certainly stay here again.

Spring Break ‘19

We have been coming to Destin and staying at Westwinds for many years. We love Sandestin Resort! Booked our trip last minute this year. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into “Vacation Joy” to discover that the unit had been updated with fresh new paint colors, flooring and furniture. The updates were nicely done! Condo was great and had all that we needed for our party of 4 (2 adults and teenage boys). This year, we took advantage of the outside grills and grilled out 3 nights. There is a great seafood market off 98 in Santa Rosa Beach called Shrimpers Seafood Market. My only complaints about the condo are the rug in the living room sheds but maybe because it’s new and there is a screw hanging down from the top of the inside shower handle in the master bath. You could cut your hand if not careful.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a clean place , great location but oven was broken .. we have a lot of food and desserts to bake but we have to go to another condo to use .. it was embarrassing. Would I come back no because even the maintenance guys couldn’t fix it because it was digital . Our master bedroom light switch didn’t even work or they didn’t put battery in the light switch . So imaging for 3 days without lights and a broken oven .. something should be compensated for our 3 nights stay .. only thing we like was the location and this place was clean
