The villa was in a nice quiet location about a 20 min walk from the centre of Loruges. The Villa had plenty of space but it did look a little tired in places especially around the pool. All in all we had a nice holiday here.

Typical Provence property situated close to the pretty town of Lorgues. Easy to walk to and enjoy the markets and cafes and restaurants. The concierge Guillaume was excellent given that we had a long delayed flight and did not get to the house until nearly midnight. He provided a video to clearly show us what we needed.The house itself was as we expected and typical of this area the swimming pool was well used as was the outside sitting and eating area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is quite private not over looked. is comfortable and excellent air conditioning. pool is wonderful . Shaded areas and seating excellent.lacking some basic supplies washing up liquids minimum toilet rolls . You need to bring everything with you

A LOVELY AND PEACEFUL FINCA WITH ALL THE COMFORTS YOU NEED FOR A PERFECT HOLIDAY. TASTEFULLY FURNISHED SO YOU LL BE HAPPY TO SPEND A FEW HOURS INDOORS TOO. PLENTY OF OUTDOOR SEATING - PERFECT FOR LONG EVENINGS OF GAMES WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS. NICE POOL WITH A LOT OF POOL TOYS FOR THE KIDS. A SUPERMARKET, BAKERY, RESTAURANTS, A LOVELY ICE-CREAM PARLOUR AND A WONDERFUL WEEKLY MARKET ARE ALL JUST A STONE S THROW AWAY. WHENEVER WE HAD ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS, SOMEONE WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND HELPED STRAIGHT AWAY (MERCY BEAUCOUP, GUILLAUME!). WE WERE COMPLETELY IN LOVE AND WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

When privacy is key …

We had a wonderful week in Lorgues where there is lots to do. Due to a sturdy mistral wind (but sunny weather) we could explore the close environment. The villa is an excellent base to start of your trips and come back to relax. All what is needed is present and this location is on the list of destinations we want to return to.

A very nice vacation

We enjoyed our vacation in the beautiful house very much. The location is wonderful. Very quiet and beautifully grown in. So we could enjoy the very nice pool even on somewhat windy days. The village of Lorgues is within walking distance and offers everything you need on your vacation. The contact person on site is very nice and helpful.

Home again in Lorgues

The house was located halfway a hill on aprox 15 minutes walk to the City centre of Lorgues. We liked the villa because the furniture was modern, as well on the terras. The kitchen was well equiped.

Very nice house

Very nice house near Lorgues center. Our family of 6 stayed one week in the house. Lots of indoor space, nice clean rooms, bathrooms and living space. Wifi, TV and aircondition worked well. BBQ and large kitchen. Nice large pool and sunchairs. We can recommend this house

Nice house next to the forest

House is great.we were the first tenants. All was new and clean. Pool was great and reel perk was that you could do nice walks direct from the house as well as great biking. Rent a bike at 75 eur for a week

We had a very nice stay at this house. The house is spacious, comfortable and well maintained, with a great terrace. The pool area is lovely as well. The water was around 20–22C in September, which was refreshing and great on sunny days.The owners were very friendly and helpful and they quickly took care of any small issues that came up. We also really appreciated the kind concierge, who was available throughout our stay and made everything easy and stress-free.The location is good – quiet and surrounded by nature, yet only about a 15-minute walk to the town. The town itself is charming with a great atmosphere and a wonderful market every Tuesday.All in all, a lovely place to stay – we really enjoyed our time here.

On the whole we really enjoyed our stay at the villa which was well situated for exploring the area. Some other reviews have, however, described the walk into town as being of 15 to 20 minutes. I would say this is more likely half an hour - (and downhill!) Nevertheless Lorgues is a pleasant town with several restaurants and bars and a fantastic market each Tuesday. Communication with Nadine, the host of the villa and Guillaume, the caretaker who oversaw our arrival and departure was easy and efficient. The pool was a good size and the terrace overlooking a quiet valley, perfect for evening drinks and dining alfresco. Just a few tweaks would have turned this from a four star to a five star review. Whilst the villa felt airy and spacious there were only four of us staying. Had we been the maximum capacity of eight we would have found storage space an issue. Secondly some basic amenities were in short supply - no dish washer tablets or washing up liquid, only one tea towel and a minimum quantity of loo rolls. Apart from a welcome bottle of wine there were absolutely no other provisions - not even salt and pepper or basics left by previous guests. Overall however, apart from these minor quibbles we had a super week . Thanks Nadine!

We will make sure to restock condiments and other kitchen essentials as needed. However, we are very surprised by your comment regarding a lack of storage space, given that every bedroom is equipped with at least one wardrobe or closet—and sometimes more—as are the kitchen and bathrooms. Consequently, we have never received feedback of this nature before.

Relaxing home from home

Probably the best villa we've stayed in over the last few years. Everything was well organised and convenient. The house was very comfortable, access easy, location great for Lorgues, nearby large supermarket, and loads of markets and places to visit in easy reach. We went mainly to relax - the villa is so private, the pool is completely secluded. The concierge was charming, but not intrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend it for location, privacy, and comfort. Will definitely consider returning.

Lorries September 2021

We enjoyed our stay in this house, pool bit too cold at this time of year For us but one person ventured in everyday (heated would be great). Access needs some attention. House had everything needed and very nice and clean.

A Quiet Oasis

We absolutely loved our stay - most of the time was taken up with reading, eating and enjoying the spacious pool. The nearby town is walkable (10-15 minutes) though we had a car. During the week of our stay we attended 3 markets in the town - a great atmosphere (one was a night market with local artisans). The property itself is bright and airy. There is a very spacious bedroom on the ground floor and two more on the first floor (both a good size). The kitchen was well appointed and resourced with everything you could need to prepare a good meal, saucepans were excellent quality. We used the BBQ most nights and sitting on the patio late into the evening was a real joy. We would highly recommend this property - very suitable for a family 5-7 persons, allowing everyone plenty of space. Communication with the owner (Nadine) was also excellent - she was really helpful and understanding when our flight was cancelled so we arrived a day later than intended. We had a great experience!

A fabulous month in Provence

We spent the month of September here with friends and family visiting during various times. The villa is comfortable for 4 adults or a family of 4 or more. We loved the pool area and the outside dining terrace and spent many evenings there enjoying the wines of Provence while basking in the beauty and privacy of the property. The primary bedroom is large and the 3 upstairs are of decent size too. The rooms are not luxurious but the beds are very comfortable!! The kitchen is large and well-supplied with everything we needed for cooking on those nights we chose to stay at home. But why stay at home when the town of Lorgues has so many delicious restaurants to choose from? We loved walking into town every morning for a cafe; and most evenings for dinner too. So nice to be able to leave the car at the house and enjoy walking through the quaint streets to the charming town center. Lorgues is centrally located and we went on many day trips to various places such as Nice, Saint Tropez, Eze, Marseille; Pont du Gard, Avignon……etc., etc,. Renting a home for a month, sight unseen, is a little scary , but Nadine the owner, was so helpful answering all of my many questions promptly. I felt so comfortable and secure knowing that she was there if we needed anything or had even more questions. She is a 5 star property owner!! Enjoy this lovely home away from home.

Wij hebben enorm genoten! Heerlijk zwembad met lekker water. Airco viel helaas 1 dag uit, maar we hadden niet zonder gekund in deze hitte golf.

Fantastische plek!!

Huis was ruim en op een heerlijke plek!! Afwerkingsniveau van het huis pwas matig. Badkamer en keuken roken naar vocht (schimmel), veel luchten hielp. Ruime keuken met alles aanwezig, niet alles was schoon. Inchecken was vlot en fijn contact met conciërge.

Typisch Provence

Das Haus entspricht total den Beschreibungen, Guillaume, der uns betreut hat, war eine sehr große Hilfe und für das Wetter ist keiner verantwortlich. Was man vielleicht wissen sollte: nach dem Regen kann es übel riechen, da es kein Abwassersystem wie in D gibt und die Abwässer aufgeschwemmt werden. Auch der Pool ist natürlich nach dem Regen dreckig. Da wäre ein zusätzlicher Service toll gewesen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und kulant. Und: die schönsten Ausflugsziele gibt es bei Guillaume! Danke für die schöne Zeit in Lorgues.

Endroit agréable proche de la nature

Maison propre, fonctionnelle et agréable et bien située pour faire des randonnées et se rendre au centre ville tout peut se faire à pieds Accueil sympathique de Guillaume.

Vacances idéales au soleil

Nous avons passé une exceptionnelle semaine de vacances en famille dans cette superbe villa sans vis à vis Guillaume nous a accueilli chaleureusement et avons apprécié la bouteille de rosé frais en cadeau de bienvenue Durant le séjour Guillaume est réactif à toute demande ce qui est très agréable Villa conforme aux photos, bien équipée, d’une propreté irréprochable et une piscine digne de ce nom Je ne peux que vous recommander de venir y passer un excellent séjour

Villa très agréable et bien située

Nous avons passé 15 jours très agréables dans cette très belle villa dont l’intérieur est spacieux et moderne et qui dispose d’une très belle piscine. La localisation est idéale pour faire des ballades en proximité immédiate (notamment a l’hermitage Saint Ferreol juste au dessus, ou dans les villages alentours) ou des excursions pour la journée vers la côte ou les Gorges du Verdon.

Magnifique villa bien équipée et bien placée

Nous avons passé un splendide séjour dans cette villa. Les photos reflètent la réalité, beau mobilier (neuf), bon agencement. La maison est saine. Les espaces extérieurs sont très beaux et bien entretenus. La piscine est parfaite ainsi que les 2 terrasses de chaque côté de la maison. Guillaume vous accueille comme il se doit, il est très agréable, disponible, à l'écoute et fait le nécessaire pour répondre à vos demandes ou besoins. Merveilleux séjour à refaire :-)
