Excellent holiday location a short walk from the lovely village of Bargemon with restaurants, groceries and bars. Terrific cosy house, with pool and garden - fully equipped, quiet and clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous house near Bargemon

We had a wonderful week in this very comfortable, well equipped house near Bargemon. The pool is fabulous and Ivan was very easy to contact. Overall, totally recommend!

Bargemon house

A lovely house where the host has thought out all the details to make a perfect holiday stay if all you want to do is relax, enjoy the pool and preparing simple meals or bbqs. It's position and proximity to the village of Bargemon is ideal.

Great stay!

We spent a week at Ivan’s place, and it was nothing less than awesome! The house was even better than the pictures - the pool area was great, and the outdoor speaker system is super cool. The center of Bergamon is only a short, but step, walk away - so when you don’t fell like cooking you can visit the restaurants. I can highly recommend staying at Ivans place - we would absolutely come back for more..👌

Beautiful retreat

We had a wonderful two weeks. It was very relaxing and refreshing. The house is very well-equipped and we could get everything we needed from the village, 5-10 mins walk away. Our teenagers also enjoyed the football and basketball place, also only 5mins away. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic property in a great location....

We have stayed at the Villa for the past 3 years - and are returning again for 2017. Villa and garden are clean and perfect for a relaxing family break. Bargemon itself has everything you need - great food and shops....and there is usually something going on. Its a 5 minute walk - up a hill - to the village. Ivan and Jewels are great hosts...would recommend without hesitation !!!!

A nice stay

We really enjoyed the house and its surroundings. It was exactly what we were hoping for. And. we were impressed by the outdoor speaker system! All in all, we have no critical comments.

We will be back

We have had an incredibly relaxing week's holiday in this fantastic and authentic house. Our plans to explore the area came too little because it was so nice to enjoy the property. The house is clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. It was a pleasure meeting the owner Mr. Chevillotte. He was very helpful while leaving us enjoy our holiday in peace. We will definitely be back.

A really nice place

Spent one week with my family in this house. The pool is really great and the outdoor dining place with its view is wonderful. House is clean and well taken care of. The village is as close as the ad promises, with a five min walk to e.g. the bakery and along a very safe path. Due to Homeaway’s automated translation between different languages we had a misunderstanding about towels and linens, but the host solved it all in a great way. I can definitely recommend staying at this place.

Beautiful secluded home from home

This is, simply put, a lovely home in some beautiful surroundings. A great pool, lovely linen, perfect communication from the owner all complimented the beautiful village of Bargemon. The only (TINY!) change I would suggest is a little more by way of kitchen equipment and glasswear, but these really did pale into insignificance compared the rest of our wonderful stay here. I look forward to coming back soon.

Wonderful villa for complete relaxation

This wonderful villa is even better in real life than on the pictures ! The house is comfortable and well thought-out - the outdoor terrace (with option of coal or gas barbecue) is a cherry! We were two families with kids and we all thoroughly enjoyed it - the garden and especially the chlorine-free pool are fantastic. The location is wonderful with good restaurants, vineyards, and lots of excellent local producers to discover. On top of it, the area is full of great spots and activities : we did hillside walks, horse-riding and explored the Verdon gorges - all of which we can highly recommend! Thank you Ivan for a very layed-back holiday and we hope to be back soon :-)

As described

We had a wonderful two weeks at this property. It was exactly as described and well maintained. The views are amazing. It was very hot while we were there but the hosts provided very efficient fans. The only comments would be to provide the house information in English or French as well as German and to provide some big spoons as they seem to be missing from the cutlery drawer. We would definitely go back to this property.

This is a perfect villa in a perfect location. The grounds and pool are beautiful, the outside terrace and barbeque area are perfect for relaxing and casual dining and the interior is comfortable and very well appointed. The bathrooms were more modern and larger than we expected in a villa of this style.The icing on the cake is being a 5 minute walk into the charming village of Bargemon. Close enough to walk in for morning coffee and croissants and then for drinks and dinner.Valérie, the manager, is very responsive and sorted out some small issue we had immediately. Stefan, the owner, is approachable and responsive too.We could not have hoped for a better time in a more delightful location.

Wonderful stay

Lovely house, nice decoration and the best terrasse and pool (where you will live when you are there). Also we really enjoyed the ping pong area and the pool bar. The photos do not do the pool justice since this area has been 'redecorated' and looks really nice with a new iron fence. We had an issue with some failing parasols, however, this was quickly fixed by the owner. Really nice also that there is only a five minute walk to cosy Bargemon, and the view is great. During the night we had the pleasure of seeing the local wild boar. A wonderful stay for 8 people :-) Best regards, Sofie

Our stay at the villa in Bargemon was nothing short of perfect. Communications from Christof, the owner, were helpful, easy and prompt. Valérie who looks after the villa was warm, friendly and knowledgeable and met us with the keys and to show us around. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The villa is beautifully set out, clean and equipped with everything we could have needed for a relaxing stay. Every detail had clearly been thought through with care.The setting was breathtaking — surrounded by rolling hills and olive trees. We spent our mornings enjoying coffee on the terrace, afternoons by the pool soaking in the incredible views and evenings watching the sunset. It felt like a private slice of paradise.The location was ideal: secluded enough to feel peaceful and restorative, yet only a short (but steep and energetic) walk to the gorgeous village of Bargemon, with its church, cafés, market and authentic Provençal atmosphere. What truly made the experience unforgettable was how effortless everything felt. The villa combined luxury, comfort and warmth in a way that made it feel like a home rather than a rental. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing.Without question, one of the best places we have ever stayed. Highly recommended. Thank you Christof and Valérie.

Glorious location with beautiful views. House is well equipped with everything you will need, Pool area and bbq/outdoor dining facilities are great. All in all a lovely property, which clearly is somebody's second home. If venturing out in the car be prepared for some winding roads ! (It is the Verdon Gorge afterall !) Bargemon is lovely and would thoroughly recommend the restaurant in Photograph, Cotes de boeuf was fantastic. Only negative for us was the walk into Village from the house, you have to walk on the road (no pavement) for about 200m until you start the climb up into Village. OK for adults but wouldn't really want to do it with young children, especially in the dark. Overall a very enjoyable stay in a house with good facilities and great outdoor space. I would thoroughly recommend it if you want a quiet relaxing break.

Wonderful Family vacation!

We had a month-long stay at this wonderful villa, and we didn’t want to leave! The house and property are beautiful, (the photos don’t do it justice) and very comfortable for our family of 7 plus a baby. The owners have taken great care to ensure that guests have everything - kitchen is very well-equipped, pool area has lots of seating, plus its own little kitchen. They have a high chair and play pen/crib as well, and a baby gate for the stairs, if you’re traveling with small children. We spent a lot of time in the pool, and at night the illumination (pool and landscaping) is beautiful. The patio has a new dining table where we enjoyed all our meals. House is airy, open and very welcoming. We loved relaxing outside, with beautiful views of the mountains, lots of olive trees, rosemary and lavender- and the charming village of Bargemon is a 5-10 minute walk from the house (a bit steep, but we did it everyday to get fresh baguettes & croissants). Location is very good for daytrips to the coast, the Gorge de Verdon and lakes, and the market days in the nearby villages. Ivan and Christof were very responsive to any questions, and Valérie was so helpful if any minor issues arose- and had great suggestions for places to see, as well. We had a very relaxing month with our whole family, thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

Det har været helt sublim med både huset, dets indretning, dets faciliteter, interiør og ikke mindst alle de opholdssteder på husets grund og den skønne swimmingpool Alle i familien har været begejstret og glad for opholdet .

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i villaen, som udover at have en fantastisk beliggenhed var meget lækkert og funktionelt indrettet med et særdeles velekviperet køkken. Udsigten over dalen er ubeskrivelig smuk!

Wir haben uns als Familie in der Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt! Das Haus ist in natura noch einladender als auf den Fotos mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist ein Traum. Der Ort ist zu Fuß super erreichbar und lädt auch zum Verweilen ein, ein sehr guter kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker und Fleischer neben den schönen Restaurants findet man auch in dem ansprechenden Ort. Der Pool war für die Kinder ein Highlight! Ich hätte mich persönlich über Fliegengitter gefreut. Man kann die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

Einfach nur top von Übernahme bis Übergabe...Merci Valerie! Absolut empfehlenswerte Oase in guter Laufdistanz von weniger als 10 min. zu einem hübschen, authentischen Dorf mit guten Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus ist stillvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Aussenbereich mit Pool der Extraklasse mit wunderschönem Blick in die Provence.

The villa was beautiful and we had a wonderful multi-generational family stay. Due to the layout, everyone had privacy and the teenagers and grandpa had additional space too - inside/outside/by the pool area/BBQ seating/patio/games area and outside area near no.2 BBQ.Very relaxed and chilled holiday. The sunrises were beautiful. Perfect for a quiet and relaxed break. Proximity to Bargemon was wonderful and all the restaurants very very good. The host and local manager were very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommended.

From the photos we thought it was a little bigger internally but this did not detract from the overall quality of the stay. We would describe the place as a strong blend of rustic and modern with high speed internet, aircon in the bedrooms and a fantastic outdoor entertainment set up for lights, music, dining and group conversation. There are plenty of things to do including table tennis, badminton and of course the pool. Some things are starting to wear a little, such as the pool edge and walkway to the pool from the house. We had a problem with the oven during our stay and Valerie was wonderful getting someone out to look at it within 30 minutes. It is a wonderful place for familiies or groups of friends to have a get together but definitely suits younger or more robust persons from the comfort perspective. All that said we have had the most wonderful relaxing time and would highly recommend to the right group of people a fantastic stay.
