Very clean. Great location. No windows in the bedroom didn’t work for us. And no fans. The great things: super clean and plenty of provisions for our stay. Loved the open living dining room and balcony

Perfect For Our Hiking Trip

This vacation rental was clean, attractive, and peaceful. It was perfectly situated for access to hiking hiking trails in the San Juan and Weminuche National Forests, and also to the Durango Silverton Railroad. It was also a perfect setup for us to cook most of our own meals, which we prefer for convenience on hiking trips, but we did treat ourselves to one very enjoyable lunch at the Mineshaft Bar and Grill, on the resort premises, and we highly recommend it!

Reviewer Comments: I had a great time staying in condo 818, open patio doors to the outdoors was my favorite, grandchildren came over and we watched squirrels. we went swimming and just relaxed in this very homey place. I also loved the separate bedroom , I am bringing my husband too this October to visit our son.

The condo was comfortable and well equipped, except for a salad bowl. The pool, hot tub, and grounds around it were well kept and number of people were limited , due to Covid. Had a good take out pizza from the restaurant one night.

Peaceful condo in the trees

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a FANTASTIC stay in this place! While the furnishings are a bit dated, it was cozy and very quiet. The kitchen is very small but very well stocked with dishes for cooking (just needs a cutting board!).The resort has great amenities---we needed to book early for the pool because of COVID but really enjoyed our stay. It is much quieter than Durango (the golf course/trees buffer the road) and we enjoyed the epic star-gazing. You do need to climb a full set of steps to get to the condo.

We would have preferred a king size bed, the queen was too small.The rental was clean and comfortable, everything we needed was there. The supplies included was a nice touch.We called maintenance and they were there the next morning.Overall we enjoyed ourselves very much.

All things considered, they have figured out how to follow the social distancing but still have the amenities available to guests. Pool is by appointment but you get the pool for yourself. Call ahead. The gym is the same. Close to downtown Durango and to the ski area. Plenty of lanes and hikes. The condo was clean and well stocked. The host very attentive. Definitely will stay here again.

Family Reunion Goldmine!

I booked everything online and the payment went through without any problems. I did have to call the main desk once about part of the rental procedure but it was handled quickly and professionally. The condo was the perfect size for my son and I, and we had everything we needed. I brought along a couple of items that I was sure I would need, a sharp knife and a vegetable peeler. I learned that from experience. The place was spotless when we walked it. The furnishings were nice. My only complaint was that the glasses weren’t clean, I had to wash them all before I used them. The location was perfect for everything we had planned for the week. We seemed to be halfway to everything. The pool and gym area were more than we expected. There was even a great grassy area where we had a family kickball game. We really couldn’t have asked for anything more. I have already recommended it to others and I would love to come back again.

Great Unit & Location, Housekeeping Not Up to Par

Reviewer Comments: This condo was just right for my stay: great location, comfortable furniture & bed, nicely stocked kitchen. I enjoyed walks around the area on cleared roads. Even still, after reading past reviews about cleanliness not being great, I took a chance, hoping things would be better than others have experienced previously. I was disappointed. The cleaning of surfaces was not done. The kitchen counters & stove, bathroom surfaces, the dining, coffee & end tables, & the dresser & bedside tables were all in need of attention. I'm accustomed to taking cleaning supplies with me to VRBO's because this isn't an isolated incident, so I cleaned those surfaces I knew I'd be using. Changing the linens & taking out the trash doesn't constitute adequate cleaning between guests as I see it. While the place wasn't trashed or absolutely filthy, it was clear that cleaning surfaces is not being done between guests. I would only recommend this property to others who are also willing to do some cleaning upon arrival.One other thing... the walls between this unit & the upstairs unit are thin, so I could hear conversation, movement & TV from upstairs.

Nice Place - Very clean BUT Smelled Bad

This would have been another good visit except the property had a bad smell - like wet moldy carpet. Especially bad in the bedroom - very bothersome when trying to sleep. We reported this previously. I suspect a roof leak down the wall adjacent to the next unit. I would not recommend this property until the problem is fixed.

One night we did not sleep, an animal was in the bedroom wall by the bed.— Bees have a hive inside the wall on the balcony. 100s flew in would crawl up the corner and go in the wall and others flew out. Right side of the balcony.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the resort and this condo were great! Condo had everything we needed. Our grandson loved the pool. We loved everything about our experience there with one exception. The mattress on the sofa bed really needs to be replaced. Our daughter and grandson found it really uncomfortable and they are not that picky having slept on many sofa beds on vacation. Luckily, there were two extra comforters which they put on top of the mattress and then put the sheets on top of that. That made it work for this trip. But it is such a lovely condo and replacing the sofa bed mattress would make the experience even better.

Ski trip

The condo is fine, just some missing items in the kitchen like a pan. You have to drive to the pool/spa due to distance and make reservations 2 days ahead, otherwise no luck. Purgatory shuttle also, but only 1 day ahead. Some staff at the fitness are very nice, others outright nasty, we even had a conflict with a pool nazi who tried to kick us out before our time was over so she can go home early.

Full week stay

Great location. But, unit was old, needed updating. Felt dirty. Kitchen lacked basic equipment, like bowls knives, cutting board, colander, cheese shredder, etc. Mived after 7 days to modernized unit with full kitchen amenities a felt cleaner
