Thank you so much, Peter, for taking the time to write a review about your stay at 1 Step Closer. We are SO sorry you were not able to come - but happy for your friends. This is such a great home just up the street from the beach and with a lot of fun restaurants and shops close by. It was a cold week while your friends were here and if it's cool nights - the pool heat has a hard time keeping up - especially since we can only keep it on during the day due to the noise ordinance. Temperature is set to 86 degrees, but may not reach that warm as it rises about 1 degree/hour. We hope they still had a stellar time. Thank you so much, Amber, for taking the time to write a review about your stay at 1 Step Closer. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed this Holmes Beach pool home just steps from the beach. We are sorry that the lock was giving you a hard time. We know we discussed it while you were here and it seemed to improve. We will pass along the other suggestions to the owners of this property - thank you for the valuable feedback. We would love to welcome you again! Thank you so much, Danielle, for taking the time to write a review about your stay at 1 Step Closer. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the great location of this pool home - just up the street from the gorgeous Gulf beaches. So many fun restaurants and shops just a short walk away as well. We are very sorry that our cleaning firm had a crew that did not do a perfect job prior to your arrival. As you mentioned - we refunded you part of the cleaning/linen fee and would have been happy to send the cleaning crew out again had you not done the cleaning yourself already. We are also sorry for the drawers in the kitchen. We could have easily come out to repair them had you mentioned it during your stay. As for the pool lights, we believe we have a misunderstanding. The reason for the delay to fix the pool lights was that the specific bulbs were out of stock (parts have sometimes been hard to get during the Pandemic). Since the pool is new and under warranty the same bulb has to be used. When we came to drop off some floating tea lights to improve the pool experience at night - you also mentioned you would hang a light from the pool umbrella. We always try very hard to get all repairs made during a guests stay. We would love to welcome you again and can help you find a more suitable property!
