A wonderfully well-located and lovely apartment that met all our needs. It helped make our stay in Lisbon all together delightful. Lots of great restaurants right outside the door and public transportation a block away. We highly recommend this property.

Location was great for transport, restaurants, cafes and bars! Easy to walk to most tourist locations! Can be noisy late at night! Apartment was well supplied and very comfortable! Communication and getting access was very easy!

We had a lovely stay! The apartment is very clean and in a fantastic location. We knew it was a lively neighborhood with active nightlife, and we definitely experienced the late night noise that comes with the proximity. If you're a light sleeper, definitely bring ear plugs, but don't let that deter you from the great location.

Beautiful property! The pictures do not do it justice. It is very well setup and modern. Location is right in the middle of a popular area, but we had no issues with noise. Host was easy to work with and kind. 10/10!

The property was great! My fiancé and I were there for 15 days, 14 nights and we loved that we were able to settle in for a bit while we were there. As other reviewers have said, it was a bit noisy at night, but we really didn’t mind. It was nice to hear the nightlife and listen to the sounds of Lisbon :) the location was perfect (close to many restaurants and shops), the host was a great communicator (very accommodating and prompt), and the apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well designed. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!!

This place is a million times better than it looks in these pictures, and the pictures are stunning! Absolutely incredibly. Spotlessly clean. I will say we went before the busy season (Apr) and the streets were very , very loud but its the most happening area.

Great location and walkability. Cristina was a great communicator and was very available and responsive. Even though there wasn't Air Conditioning in the unit we were able to keep the place very cool with the ceiling fans and keeping the shutters closed during the day and opening everything up at night. We stayed during the lastest heat wave in July and survived just fine. It does get noisy at night due to the nightlife, if you're a light sleeper bring some ear plugs and you'll be fine. I would definitely stay here again. Cheers!

A great location for visiting Lisbon. The flat is delightful - comfortable, well equipped and homely. We enjoyed being welcomed personally by Ana, who showed us where everything could be found.The area is very lively with many restaurants and bars which meant it was noisy in the evenings and also the early mornings when the rubbish was being collected. But the double glazed windows kept out most of the noise. The large ceiling fans kept the room temperature comfortable without the need for air conditioning despite the heat of high summer. The bathroom is lovely with a large bath as well as a walk in shower. We appreciated the provision of shower gel and soap and nice big towels. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends

Great place to explore Lisbon

Easy access to many things in the area - supermarket, post office, gym, restaurants, etc. Modern and low maintenance place with a bustling night life. Has a heater for the winter and fans for the summer. I hit up the bakery every second day, and local product from around the place.

Couldnt ask for anything more!

We were two couples in our early thirties and we couldn't have asked for a better apartment and area to stay in. Great food places nearby, a grocery store, the metro, and easy walking access to the happening parts of Lisbon. We had a great time and would stay here again no problem.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement. Bien situé pour débuter à pied la découverte de Lisbonne ou prendre le tramway 28, par exemple. Séjour lumineux, cuisine fonctionnelle, lit confortable. Le voisinage est calme. S'il y a de l'animation dans la rue certains soirs, le double vitrage isole vraiment très bien et nous n'avons pas entendu de bruit. Possibilité d'arriver tard le soir, ce qui a été très appréciable pour nous. Nous pouvons recommander sans problème cet appartement pour un couple, une famille avec 2 enfants ou plus

Perfect location in a fun, high energy neighborhood

We had a wonderful week-long trip to Portugal, and Cristina's apartment was the perfect place--both in size and location--for us. We really enjoyed the hustle and bustle and energy of the neighborhood, which continued late into the night. That said, we never had a problem with noise, and we were able to get in many good long nights of sleep, critical after long days of sightseeing. Cristina was very responsive to our questions, and we were particularly pleased when both Cristina and her friend Ana accommodated us with an issue we had with our flights on arriving from the US. We very much enjoyed our trip to Portugal, and we highly recommend this property.

Appartement central

Très bien situé dans une rue peu passante et peu d'animation nocturne, il borde les quartiers animés, aussi bien que touristiques et commerçants. Comfortable, great location

We stayed for 2 nights in this home in the Bairro Alto neighborhood. Step steps up (4 flights) were a bit dark on lower levels at night (well lit at unit level). Very nice kitchen which we did not use due to the abundance of great local restaurants. Big well appointed bathroom. NIce small balcony. A bit of noise from garbage collectors in am and some revelers at night but not a problem at all! Great location close to all kinds of cool stuff we could walk to. Comfortable beds (1 double or queen and one set bunkbeds). Could use a bit brighter lights for reading in living area.

perfect location!

This was our first time to Lisbon and this apartment was in a great location! Steps from many fado restaurants, cafes, gelato stops, bakeries, stores and even a mall. The neighborhood came alive at night which we loved. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Beautiful large bathroom and a kitchen with everything you could need. We used the "Rick Steves' Tour Book" of Lisbon and his recommendation to stay in this neighborhood was why we chose this apartment- thank you Rick!! Very easy to contact the host and person who let us into the apartment (was able to use both email and WhatsApp for easy messaging) Great info was emailed to me for local information, but we followed our Rick Steves "3 neighborhood walking tours" and felt like we experienced the best of old town Lisbon. We took a taxi to get to the apartment when we arrived so we didn't have to mess with directions right away- we never used the buses, trolleys or subways so can't speak to them. The apartment was on the 4th floor so LOTS of stairs to climb- no problem for us but could be an issue for anyone with physical constraints. Lisbon was one of the most beautiful cities we have ever visited in Europe- we liked it more than Paris and Rome. The portuguese people were so friendly and relaxed- a very different vibe then many other countries. I would absolutely stay in this apartment again and definitely recommend this neighborhood to anyone looking for their "home base" The apartment is getting air conditioning installed (which will be great) and it was almost finished when we arrived, but we were completely comfortable because they provided fans for each bedroom and sitting room. We opened the beautiful french doors at night to let cooler air in as well. Thank you for sharing your apartment in this beautiful city!!

Great location ,perfect for family of four, but not for faint of heart

Thanks so much for helping start our two week vacation off on such a great start. This apartment was in the heart of everything, but surprisingly quiet. It is a four story walk- up apartment. So anyone who has problems climbing stairs should avoid this lodging. We are in our 50's with two teen kids. We loved the layout, WiFi, and location. There are a lot of "touristy" restaurants within 5 minute walk, some just outside the building. Also recommend a fun "local" restaurant down the block, you will see a line every night around 7 or 8 PM. I Strongly recommend this apartment for family of four who are exploring Lisbon. We loved it!
