udsigt over bjergene i miles og byerne Pigeon Forge og Gatlinburg. "Haus of the Setting Sun" vil WOW dig !! Fra "Haus" -dækkene ser du den smukke solnedgang hver aften, mens du griller eller bare slapper af efter en lang dag med vandreture i nationalparken eller på ski på Ober Gatlinburg kun få minutter ad vejen. Du vil være i stand til at varme op i saunaen eller suge ned i det store indendørs jacuzzi-badekar efter en sjov tur til Dollywood eller en shoppingtur i Arts and Crafts Community på Glades Road. På de kolde vinteraftener kan du hygge dig foran pejsen, mens du synker ned i den store overdrevne læderstol eller sofa.

Første sal soveværelse har overdådig konge master suite med komfortabel og hyggelig indretning og eget badeværelse. 2. sal master er meget rummelig og lys med åben koncept plantegning, jacuzzi boblebadekar med eget badeværelse og sauna. Der er også en meget hyggelig sovende krog med en dobbeltseng.

Det lyse og fuldt udstyrede køkken med alle nye apparater vil smelte ethvert kokkehjerte! Kaffeelskere kan vælge mellem dryppekaffe eller Keurig. Værelserne er udstyret med fladskærms-tv sammen med det største opholdsstue. Du vil være i stand til at nyde højhastighedsinternet ved hjælp af Spectrum-kabel. På de varme sommerdage kan du gå et par meter til fællespoolen for at køle af.

Dette område er så dejligt. Det er i en blind vej med meget lidt trafik. Du er på toppen af bjerget med den mest spektakulære udsigt! Du kan ikke komme højere end dette! Du har måske besøgt bjørne ganske ofte. Det er et must see og et must stay. Vi blev forelsket i dette område og vidste, at vi ville have et hjem her. Vi håber, at du elsker det så meget som vi gør. Very clean cabin, at the end of the road and an amazing view of the mountains and sunset. Nice hot tub and Jacuzzi tub. Great little kitchen setup.

A secret gem

Great place. Spectacular views. Absolutely a win. You can see the fireworks from Dollywood at night. Quiet, secluded. You won’t be disappointed.

Quiet location

We wanted a place to get away from the crowds and this was it. The pool was very close to the house and clean. There is one bedroom that is lofted so not a lot of privacy but a great space. Kitchen is well stocked and has an ice maker which was helpful. Hot tub was used often and we really enjoyed it. Views are decent and the sunsets are spectacular. Plenty of towels but could use more toilet paper as eating out often, well, you know. The road getting to the house is steep and narrow, like other mountain roads, but we saw bears daily which was neat. Make sure you look around you when you open your door to go outside too as there was a bear on the neighbors van one day. Overall a pleasant visit away from the city noise but close enough to easily grab dinner out of you want to. We had a great time and would stay again.

The views!

The views from the decks sold me on this location. Nobody has better views than this house. It was a nice and well maintained house. Sitting in the hot tub on a cool night overlooking the city lights was awesome. I will be back to this property.

Gatlinburg Get Away

Great time was had by all! Excellent accommodations. Very cozy and warm. Wood Burning fireplace was great on those cold nights when it Snowed. A Million Dollar view from balcony, especially of the sunsets. We loved it. We are looking forward to return soon.

Amazing view, cozy cabin.

This was a memorable place. The drive up the mountains in itself is worth the money. When you get to the cabin you find a very spacious, clean place with a view of town and the surrounding mountains for the ages, yet the inside is cozy and warm to cuddle up with your loved ones. Lovec the Haus, and the owner Suzzane was prompt with her responses and always helpfull. Definitely in my future travels again.

Perfect House for Our Family's Spring Break

My husband, boys (18 and 4) and I went to Gatlinburg for our oldest son's last spring break before graduating high school and we could not have asked for a better place to stay! We loved the location and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view from the deck was AMAZING! An added bonus for us was that we woke up to snow our second morning there (being from Florida, this was a big deal for us)!! We spent a good amount of time at the house and it was very comfortable and cozy for us. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect for our family, also. We gave our older son the bedroom downstairs and my husband and I had the upstairs bedroom/loft, the little sleeping nook upstairs was a unique and great setup for our 4-year-old. Prior to our stay, the owner sent us all the information we would need for our stay. She also sent an email letting us know about the new parking permit requirement that had just started, which we did not know about and were very thankful for the information so we could buy/print our permit before leaving for our trip. We truly enjoyed every second of our stay and would rent this property again.

Unbelievable views, so nice and refreshinl to see and experience from the top the majestic views God enabled your home to provide us. We wish we had longer to linger / lounge on the balcony and hot tub but we loved every minute of our time.

Beautiful location and neighborhood. House was well-furnished. Clean. Some interior and exterior updates/maintenance will be needed in the near future to retain high rankings. Amazing!!

The home was in great shape with amenities we wanted. The view was unreal. The location was almost exactly 15m to either pigeon forge strip or Gatlinburg strip, which was perfect for all the excursions we had planned. We loved coming back to the balcony hot tub. Had a noisy rental neighbor and contacted the owner who was quick to respond. The a/c was amazing. We were cold most of the time despite being the middle of summer. We will definitely come back.

Great Stay

Great property and view! Picked it for the view and it did not disappoint. Lots of bear sightings! Takes about 15 min to get down or up the mountain. Ober upper parking lot is about 9 mins away.

Beautiful View and home

The home was beautifully appointed. The view is stunning. The jacuzzi was enjoyed by our two teens. Overall, the house was fantastic for our group of 4. The lower main bedroom has a bathroom and king bed. The entire upper level contains a king bed, shower/toilet room, separate garden tub with window, and a large oversized chair and ottoman. This room also has a single bed in a converted window nook.

Girls getaway

My bestie and I wanted to have a girls trip to get away. This was absolutely perfect! We wanted something beautiful and relaxing. After pooping my pants driving up the mountain the beautiful view made it all worth it! This trip is exactly what we needed! You could stay at the house all day and relax with a beautiful view or go for a ride in the smokies! Downtown gatlinburg is not far either. So mamy options of things to do. I definitely want to come back!

Great vaca spot

Perfect getaway in the mountains. Loved the drive up each night. We’d go down in the morning to all the great things around and come up when we were done for the day to enjoy the hot tub and relax with the best views! Accommodated a family Of 5 perfectly!

Awesome views!

This is our second year at this property, the view from the deck (and in the hot tub) never gets old! The house is lovely, very clean and well appointed. While on the smaller side, it's still comfortable for a family of five. The drive up the mountain to get there is well worth it as the cul de sac is quiet and you are definitely away from the crowds in Gatlinburg. The pool across the street was an added bonus. Beautiful sun rises and sunsets from that deck and even rain storms going through the valley made for fascinating viewing. Well worth it.

Smokey Mountain visit

The views were spectacular. Especially the sunset on our first night. Also walked across the parking lot to see a beautiful sunrise one morning. The Chalet was sufficient for us, although the kitchen is small. We had to move the dining table around for 4 of us to dine. Small area there too. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs shower head was very difficult to turn the water on. The entrance to the Chalet is in need of maintenance and repairs. As well as other areas of the home. Weeds in the landscaping. Dead trees. We did not use the hot tub nor the jacuzzi tub. We spent the day away from the Chalet enjoying shows in Pigeon Forge and visiting The Islands.

Beautiful Views

The views from the balcony were breathtaking. We saw a bear everyday we were there. It’s a crazy drive up there for sure, but worth every curve and turn!

Our family has been visiting Gatlinburg for many years. It always felt very special to us, like we belonged here. We traveled here so many times on a very limited budget when our kids were growing up. I knew this is where I wanted a second home. The Smoky Mountains were our family's playground and still is. We were able to become part of this great community and purchased our first property in 2017. We love it so much that we wanted to share our experience with others. And the views from Haus of the Setting Sun are absolutely amazing!! Why would you want to come to Gatlinburg and not get a chalet at the tip top of the mountain with amazing views! To wake up and see God's beauty is awesome!

We chose this property because it sits in a quaint little cul-de-sac with no traffic, on top of a mountain and you can see for miles and miles and miles. One guest commented to us that "it looked like a little village on a movie set". You can't get any higher than this! We sit above Ober Gatlinburg which is only .5 miles away. It is a unique location. We love it so much that we own another property across the way. Also you may see lots of bears depending on the season.
