The home felt a bit outdated and could use a refresh. For example, the hooks in the master bedroom were broken, so there was nowhere to hang towels, and the grill had propane but had not been cleaned after the previous guest. That said, the location was great and communication was excellent.

This was my first trip to Stone Harbor, the location was walking distance to pretty much anything we needed. We used the outside area everyday. The pool temperature was perfect for September.We found that the mattresses were all comfy. My issue was concerning some of the areas of cleanliness in the house so many of the reviews in past years referenced how clean the house was. Perhaps there was a change in a cleaning crew I don't know. Kitchen counters,carpets, common areas were in good shape, however the air conditioners and the bathrooms needed a good cleaning. The air conditioners were loud and some appeared older, and in need of a good cleaning Would I stay here again? yes I would. For me the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. Location,location location park your car and you won't need it again while you're there.

Great Stay in Stone Harbor

This was the perfect home for a family week at the shore, close to 96th Street and the beach. Stone Harbor never disappoints.

Outstanding property for vacation!

The property was exactly as advertised and location with the host was great. You can’t beat the location and its proximity the town, the ocean, and the bay!

Good time in Stone Harbor

Wonderful communication with Kelly, the host. We loved the heated pool and the quiet neighborhood. The short walking distance to the beach and town were great!

Check-in and check-out were great. Kelly was very communicative and answered our questions right away throughout our stay, which we really appreciated.The house was unfortunately not as clean as we had hoped and felt a bit worn. There was a strong cat smell throughout the carpet. Maybe this was partly our bad for booking a pet-friendly home, but the odor was very noticeable immediately upon walking in and was stronger than we expected. As a family traveling with 4 young kids (who play on the floor often), we were a bit disappointed in the condition of the carpets. The house overall just had a very musty, damp smell throughout too.The bathrooms were also a bit worn down and could use a deep clean. The tub was more of a small shower basin and didn’t have a stopper, so it was difficult to bathe our kids at night.We also knew from the listing that towels were not provided, but we didn’t realize that meant there were truly no towels at all — no hand towels, kitchen towels, or even bath mats. For an Airbnb that accommodates 10–11 people, that felt a little bare. There was also only one main garbage can, in addition to the bathroom garbage cans, which definitely wasn’t enough for a house of that size.Overall though, Kelly was super responsive and pleasant to work with and the pool was a great perk. I just think these are things that would be helpful for future guests to know, and hopefully helpful feedback for the host as well.

Great location

This property had everything we were looking for. The location was just a few blocks from the beach and from town . The pool was a great addition especially on the days that it was too windy to be at the beach . The owner was quick to answer any questions we had prior to arrival and during our stay . Would highly recommend!

A slice of heaven!

This property was absolutely ideal for us! Perfect location, extremely comfortable and clean. The pool was the added bonus that we all needed. Not one single issue during our week long stay. Can’t wait to book again. Thank you owners!!

Fun family vacation!

Nice location to town and short walk to beach. Loved the swimming pool in the backyard . All ages enjoyed the pool especially my grandson 2/1/2 years old. Loved the deck on the second floor with coffee in the mornings. Two refrigerators was real nice. Enjoyed our vacation!

Summer wonderland in Stone Harbor

We loved this property. The house has a super layout. The location was perfect. We could walk to the beach and into town. My grandchildren loved the pool!!! Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Stone Harbor

This home exceeded our expectations. Kelly was wonderful to deal with and gave clear instructions. Close walking distance to downtown, restaurants, the bay and the beach. The pool was amazing. The home was very clean and had lots of room.

Property was great-owner/manager were very responsive and helpful Only critique is that the kitchen utensils were very low in stock. Also-plastic ware for the outside & pool would be helpful

Yearly Family Vacation

Nice property, nice swimming pool. Close to town, walking distance. Only issue we had was with kitchen supplies/silverware. Not enough for the 9 of us. Not stocked nearly as much as other properties we have stayed at. For the price I paid I expected more. It was outdated. Main reason for renting this property was that it is handicap accessible.

Family summer trip

The location is very good and the pool is well maintained but for me this was not worth the high price point I booked at (over 1500/night). There are older, noisy, single room AC units in every room that are not checked after every guest. Everything was much older than the pictures led me to believe. If you have very young children (I had an 18month old) I would not stay here. The carpets need attention and that’s mostly where my child plays. The showers are also older and very tight making it hard to bathe them. The oven was frighteningly dirty and the grill was equally as neglected. The host was very responsive and check in was easy. But I was disappointed with that we got for our money. I think for a group of adults this would be fine but for a family it didn’t meet our expectations

Checkin and checkout was very easyThe amenities were accurately described:Very close walk to shops and restaurants Beach was close and a very family friendly environment The pool, poolside seating and grill all enhanced the experience The interior was clean, roomy and comfortable despite very high outside temperatures There were no issues or concerns I would highly recommend and plan to return.

This was our first time renting this property after coming to Stone Harbor for years. The house is minutes away from the heart of downtown. Very spacious and sleeps comfortably 8-10 people. It is three blocks from the beach and the back yard pool is great if you don’t like swimming in the ocean. Our host was awesome to communicate with!Loved every minute of our vacation this year!

Incredible Stay!

Kelly’s home is amazing! The location to the town was perfect, we spent all week in her awesome pool (the pool was warm, great size, and great sitting area to tan), the open layout of the inside of her house allowed us to all spend time together (or retreat to our rooms downstairs for down-time), and we overall couldn’t have been happier! I highly recommend staying at Kelly’s!
