Property was as described. Cleaned vigorously with Fabuloso. Ride share rides were easy to/from this location, street parking is available, but not readily accessible. Perfect does not exist, but we were happy here.

What a lovely stay at Joan's place. She is an outstanding communicator and replied rapidly whenever I had a question. Our flight was extremely delayed and Joan checked in upon our arrival to assure the apartment was the right/comfortable temperature for us (so welcomed after a very long travel day!). The apartment was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in and it was well stocked with dishes and kitchen items (as well as shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the bath). The place was very close to our son's apartment which made it very convenient for us. I would highly recommend this place and we will absolutely stay again the next time we visit Chicago.

It was a pleasure hosting you, and knowing you’d choose to stay with us again is the best compliment we could receive. We’ll be looking forward to welcoming you back to Chicago!

The apartment is very clean & spacious & quiet. The neighborhood is nice. Keeping the blinds closed, I had total privacy. The bed is very comfortable. Joan was very responsive & helpful. As the listing notes, this is not a good option for tall people. I am 5’5” & I had no problem, but over approximately 5’7” might be hard in the shower. I was very happy with this place & would stay here again.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a four night stay on the property. It was located in a lovely neighborhood and was easy to access. At first we used Lyft/Uber to get around but eventually we realized the bus stop was a short walk away and it took us straight to the train station where we were able to take it all the way to Wriglyville and downtown. If you like a late night out you must check out Culebra, a speakeasy we absolutely loved just a few blocks away and for the best Mexican breakfast/pastries check out Pan Artesanal. The only things I would note for future guests is that the property is a basement unit so the ceiling is a bit low for our comfort level (my boyfriend is 5’9” and I’m 5’5”). Also, the bathroom is located on the opposite end of the bedroom so if you get up often to use the toilet that is something to consider. Other than that, it was a great experience. Thank you Joan.
