This room was perfect for the weekend! Great location… 800 ft from Messenger Coffee, walking distance to shops and restaurants, no problem securing street parking, and a comfortable, clean room! Thanks for a great weekend!

Plaza Perfect!

Great location on the plaza Small bathroom was the only dislike but very quaint and perfect for what we needed. Would stay there again. Good for a single person travelling. Communication was great.

Cozy, Quiet, Convenient

The property is a safe and easy walk to the Plaza area which is what we wanted. The apartment is a comfortable and charming studio unit that met our needs and expectations. The property owners were good communicators which made the check-in process flawless. We would book this place again!

My wife and I had a great stay. Comfortable studio one block from Country Club Plaza. Easy access and the host was wonderful to work with. Parking is available for an additional fee. Can’t wait to go back.

The studio was close to the plaza and our conferenceThe room was well furnished The only issue was the toilet was a little bit too close to the wall to really sit comfortably but the place was clean, well stocked and quiet

Last minute booking

My family and I were in Kansas City for the game and last minute booked!. It was a great location and a clean room! We loved being right on the Plaza. We did the extra parking as well, which was great not having to worry about finding a place! This will be our preferred option the next time we stay in KC! Go chiefs!

very nice place

location, price,communication were all super. Construction literally right outside of the balcony/window, though out of owners control, really hampered my ability to enjoy the space. The fridge is in a closet with a light that a short person would have a hard time putting on. The bathroom is very small but has all that is really needed. After requesting a little compensation for the inconvenience the owners did just that. Thank you.What would make this cute spot really nice is having a few extras that are convenient: a few paper plates, napkins, plastic utensils, salt, pepper, sugar. Parking is available on the street but can be a chore to find. Overall this was a nice place to stay in a nice location.

Review

The property was clean and in a great area not question. the problem was it was nothing but a room and a bathroom. The bathroom was crazy cramped. If I had been more aware I wouldn't have rented this property. We enjoy renting property's that are more like a home not a hotel and unfortunately this wasnt that.

Not at all what we expected and several hiccups

When booking the room, we specifically asked for parking and an outdoor space. There was no parking due to construction on the building, which included tearing down all the Juliette balconies. The balconies that were there did not constitute "outdoor space" in my opinion and ours has been removed and replace with three two by fours. The "kitchenette" was a small fridge and microwave tucked in a closet that you almost couldn't get to. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else but was not able to cancel the reservation on the app so we could receive a refund.

Prior to arrival, we sent multiple messages regarding the ongoing construction, which includes temporary changes to parking and balcony access—both of which are outside of our control during this phase of the project. Construction is scheduled to be complete by mid-June 2025, and the updates will significantly enhance the property for future guests. This unit is ideal for those seeking economical accommodations in a highly sought-after part of town—just minutes from the Country Club Plaza, parks, and major employers. We regularly host guests for everything from weekend visits to 6-month or even year-long stays. We office onsite and are always just a message or call away should anything come up during your stay. David was a join to book with and was kind enough to give us a bigger room for a discount.. we both work from our locations so yes it was tight quarters but the location and David made it feel great.. would stay again..

Plaza Weekend

All in all a good weekend. Room was clean, but a little small. TV was very difficult to get stations to come in clearly. We enjoyed our stay, but will probably book a larger room next time. David and his mom were very accommodating.
