Unplug, unwind, and recharge on this multi-acre retreat nestled in the forest—sip a drink on the porch swing with Rocky Mountain views, soak in the spa, say hello to our horses and chickens, sway in the hammock, or cozy up by the firepit under star-filled skies.
This is a private, cozy suite with its own entrance, outside area, mountain views, horses, and chickens.
Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise and wind down with golden mountain sunsets—all from your private suite nestled in a hidden-away high mountain meadow with sweeping views of the Continental Divide.
Just 25 minutes from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, world-class rock climbing at Lumpy Ridge, and fly fishing on the Big Thompson River, this peaceful retreat offers the best of both adventure and solitude.
Your suite is a cozy, self-contained space with a private entrance and keypad check-in. It features a queen bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and thoughtful touches like coffee and tea to start your mornings right. Step outside to your own seating area and fire up the propane firepet — perfect for s’mores under the stars or sipping on coffee/tea with a view.
We're located in the quiet mountain community of Storm Mountain, tucked away from the crowds in Roosevelt National Forest. You'll find plenty of scenic hikes right out your door. Though remote, the suite has reliable WiFi so you can stay connected, make calls, and work if needed (note: no cell reception, but WiFi calling works well).
If you're looking to truly disconnect and recharge in nature, this is the place for you.
A few notes:
Elevation is 7,100 ft—breathtaking views guaranteed!
2WD is fine unless there's snow. 4WD with snow tires or chains may be needed if it snows (it snows less here than places like Vail as we are on the east side of the Continental Divide).
Pets:
Well-behaved dogs, cats, or other pets are welcome. Pet fee is $20 (via VRBO, Venmo, PayPal, or cash).
- Keep dogs leashed—we have free-range chickens
- No pets on the furniture.
Whether you're here to hike, climb, fish, or just breathe in the mountain air, we’d love to host you at our secret spot in the Rockies.
