Escape to the Oregon Coast at this family-friendly, beachfront home with spectacular views of the ocean and Chief Kiawanda Rock. The full, well-equipped kitchen is ready for you to prepare your favorite recipes, while the furnished deck, complete with a gas grill, offers additional options for both cooking and dining. Inside, the living area is highlighted by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the beach, and there's also a sunroom with a small bistro table for two if you want to sneak away for morning coffee or a two-player game.

What's nearby:
Walk right out to the beach from this home for romantic walks, beachcombing, or fun in the sun, sand, and surf. Walk a mile north to explore the sandstone cliffs of the Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area. Grab a beer at the oceanfront Pelican Brewing, also a mile away, go horseback riding through Green Acres Beach & Trail Rides, just a half-mile south, or head across the river to find a selection of restaurants, markets, and recreational outfitters.

Had a minor issue with some cleaning issues but they were quick to send someone out. Communication was excellent. The house was amazing, great location, I would definitely stay again with my family, highly recommend this house.

Location, location!

This house is across the street from the beach so we loved the proximity and the incredible views! There was plenty of room for 3 families and the kitchen was stocked for our cooking needs. Overall the house needs some general updates but it was perfect for us and we’d definitely rent the house again!

The home has such an incredible view! It is a truly lovely home. It was very clean on arrival and even pretty clean on the outside of the windows, making the views so lovely. Thank you!!

Great location

Loved how close the house was to the beach. However, trying to get over the sand hill was difficult. The house was great, had enough room for everyone. Even had toys for the young kids, and PlayStation games for teens. The kitchen was well stocked, and enough dishes for everyone. There are a lot of stairs, so if you have older people, you may want to reconsider.

Amazing Ocean View

Three level house provides ocean views over the houses across the street. Easy beach access. Walk along the beach for 20 minutes to find awesome tide pools at Cape Kiwanda. Climb the 250' sand dune at the cape for awesome views. Chief Kiwanda Rock is prominent in the ocean view from all front windows including the top floor kitchen and living room areas. This house is really spacious and features 3 full bathrooms, 1 powder room with sink and toilet, and a complete laundry room that also includes a sink. There is also an outdoor shower around back that features hot water. The third story deck is great for watching unobstructed sunsets!

Family gathering at the beach

Plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have quiet time or come together in the spacious living room/kitchen area. Location was perfect, with georgous views, sunsets, and walkable to local spots. Hosts were very responsive with a small issue after checking in. Would definitely come back to stay!

Pacific city stay

Overall it’s a great place, does have a lot of stairs over 3 flights. Could use a good deap clean and updating of a few items (chairs, glass window screens). But is a great home for a big family vacation right next to the beach.

The view from the uppermost floor toward the ocean was amazing! Overall, we did have a very pleasant stay. Throughout our two weeks stay (9 people), we had difficulty with the front door locking mechanism. House stays longer than one week should be restocked with paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. Based on a previous review, we had requested the outdoor grill be repaired. We were informed that it would be in working order. We immediately found out that NOTHING related to the grill had been addressed. The property manager was contacted immediately, and she provided a brand new, small tabletop grill with propane cannisters the following day. While this was better than nothing, we ended up eating out more than originally anticipated. The upper deck has a hole which is covered by a thin piece of plywood. Most of the outdoor lights do come on. There is no “bottom” in the high-backed chair at the dining room table and the sectional sofa is worn out. The sectional sofa sits WAY too low to the floor for adults. The TV on the second level did not work at all, and the TV on the upper level needs a local channel guide and instructions on use. Additional items: Clean the wall heating units thoroughly. The sink drain in the master suite is plugged. The wall outlet in that bathroom quit working. The first-floor bathroom has a toilet tank leak, and the wall heater does not work. The refrigerator/freezer water dispenser does not work. The door shelving is missing in th

Great family home

We enjoyed our stay. The home worked well for the most part for our needs. Great access to the beautiful beach. Crib not suitable for babies. Crumbs in drawers, fridge, wet dishes and disorganized but we cleaned up and enjoyed cooking. Beds were good. Could use some updating/repairs overall. Couldn’t use the deck broken furniture.

Adequate, barely

This home had some amazing things going for it. The views were amazing. But the windows fogged or were so cloudy that you couldn't see out of them. The couch was very comfortable. The kitchen had the basics of what you need to enjoy meals. The fireplace is a nice touch. There was a lot of space, plenty of bedrooms and common space. But the beds are very old and uncomfortable. The chairs on the 2nd floor were thread bare and didn't look sturdy enough to use. The patio furniture is unusable. Salt water is so hard on things but when something is completely rusted and unsafe, it should be removed. The bbq was filthy and had no propane and the picnic table had been burned...had a big hole. All in all we made it work and really loved the beach access and views but the beds being so uncomfortable was really disappointing.

Overall nice place and location

I enjoyed the location and the view from the house. There were minor things I would have changed or added, like a new BBQ Grill. I liked how they had extras like dishwasher pods and laundry tablets and shampoo/conditioner, seasonings in the kitchen, etc.

Great location and beautiful beach!

The location was perfect with the beach right across the street! House was good only issues were the bbq didn't work and coffee maker had a broken glass carafe.

Haystack House

Great location and very nice house. Everything you need is nearby. Great view and access to the beach. Use of garage was a bonus for motorcycles. The house can use some upkeep but was not an issue for our stay. I would recommend to rent this house.

Beach House

The whole house was kept clean and the rooms were big enough for all our guest. The house was right next to the beach entrance. Beautiful view from the top floor!

Enjoyed location! Minor issues

We loved how close this house was to the beach! Thought it was strange when they said the stay didn’t include a vacuum when we asked, felt weird not being able to stay very clean as we stayed. Otherwise was very clean when we showed up! The garage was locked which gave us just the entry way to leave all of our shoes/sandy things. Also the beds were all very uncomfortable! I ended up blowing up an air mattress after the first night and using that. This home has a beautiful view from the top level! But with the fact we had 7 very small littles, those many stairs were a lot so just be prepared. There was also a missing deck piece in the railing so we had to keep the kids off that part.

With views that can’t be beat, a central location, and easy access to the beach- this was an amazing place to rest and recharge. Could be modernized but for price and location, it’s hard to beat.

Beautiful location and pleasant house

This house is in a remarkable location. We had a few perfectly clear sunsets we could enjoy simply standing on the balcony. The beach is also just about 25 years away. There were 12 of us and had plenty of space and we had a really wonderful time. That said, I will always try to avoid staying in Vacasa managed homes. It was a great deal for the price but I'm not sure I'd choose to go back. I wouldn't describe it as clean or cozy but great for a long weekend on the coast.

Wonderful Stay

The location was great!! The weather wonderful and the house was perfect for so many of us (12)! Gave everyone a space to be together or on their own. The closeness to the beach was a real gift. Everyone could enjoy the beach.
