Great spacious villa for a family holiday, also summer weddings ,5 days or more only, within walking distance of everything, beach, shops , night life, duty free shopping , bus services to the whole of Barbados. All within walking distance … villa is large with a pool , outside covered area Seating for ten and some guests . lovely bar with 10 bar stools , barbecue area. Pool is 4'8"" deep all through perfect to watch kids while you have a relaxing drink in the patio shade ....no diving!new pool surface and mosaic.
satellite TV in the airconditioned lounge ..maids every 7- days .. clean towels can be arranged but their is a laundry area with washer dryer for your convenience .. the new shopping mall limegrove 5 mins walk all your duty free requirements, which also includes coffee bars great restaurants and bars. No car required for Holetown activities
Membership to Beach House pool and beach access. Wi-Fi
Wifi is provided free of charge. It does not form part of the booking contract. If for some reason it fails I will do all that I can to get it reconnected but there will be no liability on my part for loss of service. Service is very good by the local provider is free at Beach house too

We rented a 5 bedroom because we needed a full kitchen to cook in and enough bedrooms for 10 people.At first glance, the villa was cute and in a nice area. Dated but charming. To make this villa five bedrooms they combined two villas. The issue is that the two back doors lock automatically. So you have to crack the door, which allows all the mosquitoes in the area to feast on you. The mattresses are like sleeping on a board. Although the description says 10 people, the silverware was only for 6. We had to buy more. The random pots and pans were a joke. The stove and oven use propane and died halfway through the week so I had to figure out where to purchase more. The oven would not maintain a hot temperature and it took hours to cook things. The back bathroom leaks water from the shower area, creating a slip hazard. The water heaters are solar, so only showers around noon are hot. There were numerous other things that went wrong but were fixed on the second day.This villa needs an overhaul before charging people what you do. And I’m still waiting on the 1,000 refund from the extra days charged and VRBO says they can’t reach you.

My ICD shocked me due to a faulty wired light in the pool. Owners and VRBO have taken no action. Stay out of the pool especially with small children and any pacemaker or defibrillator.

Great family find

Excellent overall experience. Check in was easy and the host was attentive (including a dryer repair mid-visit). Home could use some updates in a few areas, but for a two family vacation with 5 teenage kids it suited us fine :) Great location and walkable to many restaurants and food stores. Highly recommend

Happy memories

This was a wonderful stay for us. I had visited and stayed in the Sunset Crest area for many years as a teenager with my family 50 years ago. It was wonderful to return and enjoy staying at Cherry Tree Villa. The villa is exactly as advertised on the VRBO site. It is getting a little worn around the edges but was good value for money. There were 8 adult family members in our group and there was plenty of room. The outdoor patio/pool area was a great gathering space with plenty of room for eating and relaxing. The pool and garden are well-maintained and great to relax in. The only problem we had was that two of the air conditioners in the bedrooms were not working when we arrived. The property manager (Joshua) was great. When we called him, he said he would get someone over right away - and the HVAC guy arrived within 30 minutes. He fixed one of the AC units, but said the other needed to be replaced. The replacement arrived and was installed the next morning. Joshua was very helpful, and like everyone in Barbados, extremely pleasant and friendly. We were there for 10 days, so it was nice that the cleaners came in half way through and thoroughly cleaned, replaced bedding etc. The villa is in Holetown which is one of the best beach areas in Barbados. The Villa is quiet and peaceful and the walk to the beach less than 5 minutes. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Just womderful

Great location, seamless check-in, regular communication with the host. We had no problems during the stay so cant comment on that, but everyone in our group loved the stay here

Dated but.....Awesome Villa!!

We stayed at Cherry Tree Villa as three couples over nine nights. The place had everything you need. The blender didn't work, I messaged property manager Joshua (who is excellent by the way) and a brand new one was delivered the next morning!! The pool area and outdoor patio is the highlight - we enjoyed our morning visits from the green monkeys. The pool cleaners came twice during our stay. The wicker furniture on the patio was super comfortable - I counted seating for about 25 people! Yes some of the ceramic floor tiles are cracked and it could use some TLC but we all agreed that we would book there again without hesitation. The way this place is laid out - there is so much room for large groups and everyone enjoyed great Wifi and Air Conditioning throughout. The location is unbeatable, a 5 minute stroll to all of holetown restaurants, bus stop and taxi stand, beaches, HUGE modern grocery store, bank and of course Wine World. The neighbourhood of Sunset Crest is very quiet, private and safe day and night. Also there is a very good upscale grocery store called Clifton market in Limegrove centre. There were a few centipedes around the pool which we just brushed away, no big deal. The dryer seemed to take a lot of time so we just used the outdoor drying racks provided. For the price, location and amenities - honestly this place is a no-brainer.

Needs some TLC

Perfect size for our group of 7. We spent all of our time while not out and about, outside by the pool. The place is definitely dated and in need of some repairs. Tiles cracked throughout and in need of re-caulking in areas. Toilets were finicky as were the dryers. It was very hot and humid, but the ACs worked well in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well outfitted with many appliances for use (air fryer, dishwasher, slow cooker etc). There are no handrails to get in or out of the pool, and the bottom is very, very rough. Tore the skin off my diabetic hubby's toes. Location is awesome. Quick walk to groceries, shops, beaches and restaurants. Access to busses and taxis etc. Monkeys showed up almost daily, as did some friendly little birds in the morning. Very quiet and peaceful, and good enough for our family. Had everything we needed!

We booked for family holiday, location was super important. This house is PERFECT for walking distance to supermarkets, bars and restaurants and the beach!! Since we arrived on Christmas, no house manager greeter. House was dated and needs some extra TLC. Pool is fabulous and sun deck/patio was perfect for our group. Never had internet all week "down in the area". Offers access to Beach club but never needed to use it.

Great May in Holetown

Spacious villa, great outdoor space, plenty of room for a large party. Quiet yet close to all amenities and the beach. Loved the procession of monkeys every morning!

Cherry Tree Villa- great!

We enjoyed a beautiful vacation at Cherry Tree Villa. A fabulous spot for a large group, close to everything, beautiful outdoors deck where we spent most of our time next to the pool. A few little things but someone came & dealt with them quickly. Would stay there again , hated to leave!

A villa for all your holiday needs!

The house was perfect for our 3 families; Everyone (6 adults and 5 children) had more than enough space to sleep, lounge and enjoy themselves by the pool! The bar by the pool was a great place to have a cocktail and relax. The kitchen had a dishwasher and all the pots and pans one need to make a great meal. Washer and dryer came very handy too! Location was 5 min walk to the supermarkets, beaches, main road to take a bus or a cab to anywhere you want to go. Thank you so much for hosting us! We’d love to come back.

Wonderful house in superb location but needs so much maintenance!

The house is located in a great position. Walking distance to the beach at Holetown and the nearby shops, bars and restaurants. The rooms are large and airy, the pool is perfect for a dip and ideal for children of all ages. The covered outside sitting area is wonderful for watching the monkeys in the trees. The house though is just getting to the age where it needs so, so much tender loving care: the A/C in the lounge is as noisy as a jet engine and didn't work some of the time, the bedroom roof in bedroom 2 leaked water onto the bed when it rained, two of the light fittings in the lounge have no fittings in them at all and the wires are just hanging loose out of the wall, the lights over the bar don't work, two of the fans/lights in the outside sitting area don't work, the washing machine leaked and flooded the laundry area. None of these things ruin your holiday but they do add up to being rather annoying. A significant spend is required on maintenance..

The villa is tired and everything breaking or broken. No maid until day 12 of 14 night holiday, then not cleaned to an acceptable standard despite the extra charge for once a week maid service. 2 out of the 3 toilets not working for 3 to 4 days. The towels that are provided are old and covered in bleach marks and pulled threads. The overall condition of this villa is dirty and in need of a total update. It is a big place with lots of room for groups of friends/family etc. and the outdoor area is good for sitting out but again tired. The villa is in a good location near to everything. Unfortunately I could not recommend this property due to the cleanliness. I do have photos to back up this review.

My family of 10 had a great stay at this wonderful home. It is close to beach, stores, and restaurants. Property manager responded immediately to our inquiries. The kids loved the pool.

Perfect spot ! Planning a return visit.

Perfectly located, minutes from beach, restaurants and the grocery store. Accommodates 10 perfectly, ( towels, dishes, chairs etc) . Communication with owner and manager easy (quick replies) . Air conditioning, and WIFI. When we were not at the beach , we spent all our time by the pool, it was a great setup.
