Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a great location and experience. Though we found numerous stains on the furniture and a bad smell out of the bedroom. We enjoyed the stay. You could not get a better location.

We really had a great relaxing time. It was quiet the views were incredible and the whole place is so serene. The beds were well appointed the kitchen was set up with everything that we needed including coffee and creamer. We will definitely be back thank you so much for the accommodations.

Excellent stay at the Star House Lodge!

The place is super clean, beautifully updated and decorated, and very private. The location and the view are both spectacular! Overlooking the cliff is a great place to be when you want some peace.

This is a beautiful 2 bedroom home, very clean, property was lovely, breathtaking views of the ocean. 2 Ladies get away, we were very comfortable. I had a problem with a lock on one of the doors which I couldn't figure out, host was there within 10 minutes and showed me how to work it. Property is among other beautiful homes on probably one acre lots, convenient location, maybe 1 1/2 to 2 miles from Safeway in Fort Bragg.

Ocean fix

It was wonderful and relaxing. It was great having the ability to eat in or go out. Coffee in the morning and watching the outdoors.

Amazing beach retreat

This property is amazing! Spent almost my whole trip on the deck watching the sea. Everything was clean and beautiful. I will absolutely stay again! (Just please get a better showerhead!)

Fabulous views comfortable home

We truly enjoyed our visit. Enjoyed walking our pups around this large property with ocean sound and views. We were lucky to get fantastic sunsets. Everything was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. We will stay here again. Thanks a bunch

I cannot say enough about the views, especially from the balcony of the second floor. During our stay the star house (adjacent to the place you stay) was not occupied, so we had total privacy. I am not sure if this is the case at all time.I also think this is the perfect size for two people. Definitely not large enough for 4 adults.

We watched a seagull stay tight to her next on the big grassy rock. Dad would come by occasionally to bring her food and fend off predators. The young deer enjoyed us sharing the area with them.

The nicest vacation rental we have ever rented!

This beautiful house is the nicest vacation rental we have ever rented. It has an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean, and you can hear the waves with the windows open. The layout of the house is ideal, The living room and kitchen are on the second floor to maximize the ocean views. The bedroom and bathroom are on the lower level along with a second comfortable seating area. The furnishings are very tasteful and the house is immaculately maintained. We would stay here again without hesitation!
