Completed in 2020, our custom designed retreat was built to maximize the incredible scenery of Bear Lake and provide the perfect opportunity for memorable family experiences. Tucked into the side of the Rocky Mountains, with amazing views of the blue Bear Lake, you will make lasting memories staying with family and friends at Big Pine Lake House. Our house can sleep 30 with 8 bedrooms (1 bunk room), 7 bathrooms, bonus room, has 2 gathering rooms, and a covered deck with a lake view that provides a beautiful backdrop for your family getaway. The large kitchen is equipped with a double oven, large dining table, 11 foot breakfast bar, drinking fountain and 2 refrigerators/freezers. Outdoor eating space with lake views and another deck off the back of the home with a large grill. Enjoy the sport court provided with equipment with pickleball and basketball hoop.

Simpson Families

Came to spend week with our family of 18 (children and grandchildren). Husband and are 83 & 82. Everyone wanted snow for skiing and snowmobiling and we had snow everyday. The house provided amazing views of the snow, Bear Lake and the mountains each day. Having two refrigerators and two washer and dryers were a plus. Plenty if parking and we were close to skiing and snowmobiling and driving even into Idaho. Located in friendly Garden City - Try their delicious raspberry shakes and crepes. One of our best yearly vacations we have experienced.

Beautiful view

The view is spectacular and the whole property is inviting. Very clean, lots of gathering space and room for big groups. Kitchen was very well stocked - so rare with vacation homes to have everything you need in a kitchen with lovely dishes and utensils that can accommodate so many at one time. We were so pleased that there was lots of extra linens, towels, pillows and more. The property is beautiful and our group will book again.

We had a group of 20 60s, 70s, and one 84 year old cousin, meeting for the first time since we all lived in Hawaii. We wanted to spend time with each other and reminisce about our parents and our grandparents. We’re like we achieved what we needed in a beautiful setting.

Family Reunion

House was beautiful, great location. Plenty of space for our family, lots of gathering places. Hosts were accommodating and very responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

Our Family's Favorite

This is the third year we have stayed in this beautiful, roomy home. We love the spacious rooms, comfy beds and having 7 bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with two refrigerators, plenty of counter space and even a cooled drinking fountain to refill our water bottles.We love the large lawn and pickle ball court. Highly recommend this home.

Beautiful retreat!

Beautiful home and view of the lake! All amenities you could possibly need and more. Everyone commented daily on what a lovely home it was. Home owner was responsive and great to work with. Highly recommend this getaway!

Family Reunion

We have stayed at this property before and that is why we returned. The home is large and well kept. The sport court is a hit with our family. We had basketball, pickleball, corn hole games that our entire family participated in and had a great time. The location is convenient to Bridgerland which our grandkids love and has a beautiful view of Bear Lake. There was sufficient parking which was helpful as we had family coming and going. We had everything we needed provided in the home. We enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be able to return.

Wonderful Home for our Family Reunion

We were utterly pleased with this home. The view and the home are gorgeous. It fit our needs perfectly. The pickleball court and basketball hoop gave the cousins lots to do. We loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of the home. Great stay. Great host. We would stay here again.

Family Summer Celebration

Beautiful home and property with lots of parking. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware. Garbage dump site was easy to locate. Owner was very accommodating with check in time. Had a lovely, relaxing time with a day at the Lake - appreciated the beach towels.

Even better than we thought

We had 21 bodies staying together for a family reunion. We had not seen some members for 2 years and it was so relaxing and fun to catch up and have little cousins reconnect in such nice, clean and well stocked house. We were very impressed with all the extras(spices, detergents, drinking fountain, pickleball court etc) so we could spend our precious time just being together. Loved our stay!!

Perfect for Large groups

The best for big families

This house was absolutely gorgeous and was the perfect floor plan! Very clean, vaulted ceilings, 10 foot ceilings, open spaces and three floors with a walkout basement. We spent Labor Day weekend with extended family. We had lots of couples with teens and adult single children. The perfect set up with 8 bedrooms. 4 of those were master suites with attached bathrooms. One was a large bunk room. There were also about 15 roll away beds, large mats and cots for the teens and older kids to spread out and sleep comfortably. All 30 of us had plenty of space to sleep and eat. The outdoor deck was perfect for eating, lounging and watching the family play pickleball tournaments below. Both living rooms up and down had large comfortable sectionals that fit everyone. Plenty of kitchen gadgets (crockpots, mixers, bowls, pans, grills) With two fridges and a huge section of cupboards for food, there was plenty of space to put it all for our large meals. Stocked well with tons of board games and balls for pickleball, basketball and ping pong. The location was perfect too being just down the canyon right before you hit main street making it 5 minutes away from town and even closer to the secret gas station with the only fresh raspberry shakes in Garden City. Owner was very responsive and easy to contact. The space was just perfect. Zero complaints! We loved loved loved our time there!

Bear Zlake Reunion

Beautiful home with comfortable rooms. We especially appreciated the quality of the kitchen amenities and the variety of pots and pans, appliances, etc. Because we had family members who had traveled significant distances, having a washer and dryer available was fabulous. The sports court was a real hit as was the spacious outdoor deck. We had a fantastic time, and Corey immediately responded to all of our questions…a great experience for all of us.

Great house. Great location.

This is our third year staying at this house. We love it! We’ve been renting vacation homes in the Bear Lake area for 20+ years and this one is the best we’ve found for the size and price. If it suits your needs I wouldn’t hesitate.

Views of the lake are beautiful!

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home. It is spacious inside but also has plenty of grassy areas for kids to play outside. The sport court made it even better. Perfect for family reunions. We would highly recommend!

Nice home

We used this property for a family reunion. It was clean and had plenty of space for our family. It was nice to have a separate living room area downstairs where the kids could hang and be loud. The pickle ball court was a big hit and in constant use by all ages. Great spot! Also 5 minutes from shakes and small grocery store

Family reunion

Very nice home. Accommodated everyone very well. We had 27 people. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. View of the lake was wonderful. Pickle ball court was a huge hit. The owner was always responsive when we needed information. The home was very clean. Washers and dryers with laundry soap were very nice. The kids loved the foosball and ping pong tables were great. Just a very wonderful property!
