Great stay for the family reunion. Plenty of room to move around and have your own space and location was perfect. Beach path made it an easy walk down.Family in other cottages all within walking distance. Bbq was in bad condition and was replaced within the day! Great communication.

We loved our stay at St Peter's Harbour Plover Dunes! The house is beautiful, the view is mesmerizing and the proximity to the beach was wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and the furniture was comfortable. Terri was a wonderful host and it really felt like being home. It was hard to say goodbye at the end of the vacations in PEI and we hope we can revisit soon! Thank you Terri for welcoming us at Plover Dunes.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property! The location is perfect - incredibly peaceful, with beautiful views of the water throughout the whole house. We loved our evenings on the screened in porch watching the sunset. The beach was very accessible - it’s a lovely beach with calm waters, and we were able to walk to the lighthouse! The house itself was gorgeous, with well thought out design elements and amenities. We are so grateful we found this property and would love to return!

We had a great week staying at this cottage. The cottage itself is very nice. We have been coming to the island for the past 50 years and this cottage is probably one of the nicest cottages we ever rented on the island. The location is awesome with easy access to the beach which itself is spectacular. The views from the deck are stunning. I only have a couple of items to suggest to the owner for consideration. (1) The bugs in the area are pretty bad so we couldn't spend much time outdoors in the evening. Based on our experience this seems to be a common issue on the island. Other cottage owners that we rented from in the past have had their yards sprayed for mosquitoes and other pests which seemed to help quite a bit. (2) Some of the other cottage owners give priority to previous renters before booking new renters. I hope the owners of this cottage will consider doing the same.

My family of 7 had a very enjoyable stay at PloverDunes for 17 nights in late Aug early Sept. We have been coming to the island for over 30 years and this cottage is by far the best place we have ever rented. It is well situated (close to amenities and not a far drive to Charlottetown). It is a lovely, private water front property with excellent swimming and an outstanding walking beach. The cottage is spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed many home cooked meals prepared on the BBQ and in the well equipped kitchen. The large dining table was ideal for family meals and playing games. We enjoyed the views from the screen room and the large outdoor deck with comfortable furniture and large sun umbrella made it another place to enjoy cocktails and the wonderful view. We enjoyed the fire pit, bike riding on the Confederation trail and golfing at near by Crowbush. Terri the host was quick to respond to our questions and requests. As anyone who has been to the island knows, you have to be prepared for all kinds of weather. On the cool raining days we were cozy and warm in the comfortable seating areas with the propane fireplaces. Plover Dunes did not disappoint and we will hopefully return for another stay soon. Thankyou Terri for sharing your cottage with us.

Stunning views

Extremely comfortable — a beautiful home. Incredible views with long, long stretches of beach. Perfect for those who love beach walking. The house is well equipped for cooking meals and was very spacious — great for our group of 6. Very clean. We were sad to leave.

Plover Dunes is a PEI dream! My family and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and comfortable cottage. The accommodations were sparkling clean and spacious, extremely well appointed and thoughtfully decorated and laid out, with everything you can think of. It was a wonderful space for a family get together and the kids loved it too. The views are spectacular and the beach is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. We would love to come back, and we can’t recommend Plover Dunes highly enough! Thank you Terri for a lovely stay :)

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at beautiful Plover Dunes Beach House. We had all the amenities of home plus a wonderful view of the beach and Gulf. The beach was easily accessible and just a few steps away where we enjoyed relaxing, walking, fishing and beautiful sunsets followed by a fire and smores. We also played 3 amazing golf courses, all within a 30 min drive.We can't imagine a better beach house to rent. Our family highly recommends Plover Dunes.The Wildfong Family

Beautiful cottage and beautiful location!

My family spent a week at Plover Dunes and had a blast! The cottage is beautiful and well maintained. The location in Morell is beautiful and conveniently right on the beach. Having the beach so accessible was amazing, especially for our kids (ages 6 and 8) and my parents who are older. The beach is great for walking and swimming. We saw nightly, beautiful sunsets and enjoyed other local spots such as St Peter’s Harbor, lighthouse, and Greenwich beach and trails. Charlottetown is a short enough drive as well some great golf courses. Overall, our stay was relaxing, peaceful and fun! We highly recommend Plover Dunes and plan to return for our next P.E.I. vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachside cottage! The views were stunning, and we especially enjoyed walking along the beach to the lighthouse. The home was comfortable, thoughtfully decorated, and very well supplied with everything we needed. Terri was an amazing host—welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. It was a relaxing and memorable getaway, and we would happily stay again.

We recently returned from a very enjoyable 17 night stay at the Plover Dunes cottage in late Aug and early Sept. We have been coming to PEI every summer for over 30 years and this is by far the best cottage we have ever rented. The cottage is well situated ( close to amenities and a short drive from Charlottetown). It is a private, water front property with quick access to an exceptional beach. Clean, comfortable and spacious, my family of 7 enjoyed the views from the screen room and cocktails on the large deck. The large dining table was ideal for family dinners and playing games. As anyone who has been to the island knows, you have to be prepared for all types of weather and on the rainy cool days we were cozy and comfortable in the sittings areas with the propane fireplaces. This cottage is well equipped with anything you could need and we enjoyed many home cooked meals prepared on the BBQ and in the well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed riding bikes on the close by Confederation Trail, golfing at Crowbush, bird watching and long beach walks. The property host was quick to respond to any questions or requests. Plover Dunes did not disappoint and we will be sure to return. Thankyou Terri for sharing your cottage with us.

We love Plover Dunes! This was our second year in a row at Terri’s property and it was as amazing as we remembered it. The house is gorgeous, clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you could want. The view is spectacular and the beach is perfect for little kids. Booking our next trip soon!

This property was wonderful. The host had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. We had beautiful weather and fantastically foggy days as well. The house was immaculate and the host very easy to get in touch with. We loved the easy access to the market and various restaurants. Dreadnaught was a favorite. You and your family will love that this house is well situated with beds and room to spread out if you need it. Plenty of games and shells to collect for the littles. We would love to stay here again.

I was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and my mother was an Acadian from Miscouche, Prince Edward Island. My husband, a born and bred Islander, and I have been married for 21+ years. We live in Ontario with our 2 cats and enjoy disc golfing and scuba diving.

Plover Dunes is one of the most gorgeous locations on PEI. We have been visiting the beach there for years, playing bocce ball with my in-laws (competing for Cows ice cream) and taking walks, enjoying the stunning views. As soon as our feet hit the sand, we can feel the stress and day to day grind wash away.

Peace and tranquility is waiting for you to enjoy with your family or friends, with the beach just steps away. All amenities are within driving distance and the city of Charlottetown is just 35 minutes away. If it's golf you want, award winning Links at Crowbush is just a 13 minute drive from Plover Dunes.
