Wonderful stay and beautiful location. House was as described. Host was very responsive. Unclaimed Baggage only 20 mins away. Fishing is great and dock is amazing. Best of all the screened in porch with fire place and TV. Perfect place to relax.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation and this lake house helped make it! Great size for all of us, loved just swimming and fishing at the doc and in a very convenient part of town where things were not far away! Would stay again!

The place was very nice very clean thought the pricing was a little high per night. Wasn’t able to use the boat house. Would like to use it due to the wasn’t friendly at all other than that everything was good

The house is set up to be family friendly. The kitchen has everything you need to cook the meals. Stores are not that far away. Comfortable beds and very quiet at night. Beautiful lake views and really great screened in porch. We would love to come back!

This lake house was absolutely beautiful! We truly enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch, which is where we spent most of our time in the afternoon. The dock was wonderful, spacious, & beautiful! Definitely enjoyed our time here. The only issue was the huge, beautiful windows-they desperately needed cleaning, just spraying off would has been enough for us to enjoy the view more. Absolutely would recommend!!

Since your visit we have had the tall high windows on the back of the house cleaned. Since the windows are so high up on the house we try our best to get them cleaned on a monthly basis. Fellas Fishing...

Loved the house, location, and all the amenities. The driveway took a little extra care for pulling boats in (as specified) and the hall shower was a little tight for a big guy but it was great. Just wish we had a little more TIME....

GREAT!

Has great views of the lake right on the water. The screened in porch with fireplace was a great addition for our stay. The screen porch has a bar area with sink icemaker, and drink cooler. The house was more than spacious and room for everyone. Excellent communications with the property manager answered all of our questions.

PROPERTY WAS VERY CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL VIEW. HAD ALL THE AMENITIES THAT WE NEEDED. WALKING UP OR DOWN TO THE BOATHOUSE IS NOT EASY. VERY STEEP GRADE! IT SHOULD SAY THAT ON YOUR LISTING ABOUT THE STEEP GRADE TO THE BOATHOUSE. BESIDE THAT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FINE.

Inside the house was clean, except for a bad odor in kitchen. However, the outside of the house and the boathouse were covered in spiderwebs. We had to sweep the staircase on the dock just to use it.There were no canoes or kayaks to use dezpite what was expected.

Family of 6 plus dog fishing trip

Property was as described. Views of the lake were beautiful. The House is at the end of the street so no traffic, just peaceful living… driveway is tricky in the dark with boat and trailer but once you can see, it was easy to turn it around to take to the nearest boat launch… very convenient to have the boat tied up at the boat house to jump on anytime… house had extra necessities for emergencies that was very appreciated…. Jamie was very nice and helpful during a bad storm…. and the main bedroom was very comfortable to relax and listen to the rain hitting the metal roof after a long day of fishing… the kids really enjoyed the screened in porch to relax and watch a movie without the bugs bothering them… cant say enough good things about this house.. we really enjoy this home and already planning another stay….

Great shopping and fishing

We were really impressed with this property, the dock was amazing. We brought our fishing boat and the house was located very close to a nice boat launch. We were able to keep it tied up to dock, plenty of space. Family did a lot of night time fishing from the dock and caught some big blue catfish. My son caught a 7 1/2 lb bass! Bird watching was good too, lots of migrating birds.We really enjoyed the screened in porch and being able to have a fire in the evenings. Kitchen was well stocked and having the grill was handy too.We have rented other houses in AL but this was best one we have done yet, family was already asking mid-week if we could rent this again next spring break. Great location to boat launch, GTO tackle shop as well as grocery and other shopping. We went to Unclaimed Baggage store twice. Thanks for a great stay!

Overall great time

Great house to stay in with an amazing view of the lake. The interior is great and the outdoor patio area is nice, just too cold to use it. The property manager was super easy to talk to and responded very quickly. Went up for a weekend fishing trip and this is where we were a little disappointed. When they say it’s a steep driveway, it is STEEP and TIGHT. We couldn’t get out of one entrance to the driveway because the trailers were going to bottom out. We were barely able to pull in, back up, and go out the back entrance (full size diesel truck with 20’ boat and 4WD). We found it was easier to turn around down the road and back down the road to the house. However there was construction going on and the worker’s vehicles were in the road so it was a challenge to get around them. It is a one lane road. The dock is very nice, however you must have high sides on your boat to be able to tie up to the dock without floating under it. There is one side with some lower boards but they are still high out of the water. One of our boats (bass boat) wouldn’t reach the sides so they had to pull it out of the water everyday and back down the driveway. Wish we would have known this before arriving to the property. Some pictures of the docking area and driveway would have been nice.

From the owner: "Thank you for staying with us, and we hope you will return soon. We appreciate the feedback….the dock will soon be outfitted with vertical pylons to accommodate 3 more boats regardless of how high/low the boatsides and water level. The house is located at the end of a dead-end one-lane road, and the circle driveway does have some steepness and loose gravel, which provides a great view & privacy. Most guests have been fine getting in/out of one or both of the circle drive entrances and/or using the concrete parking pad and/or grass area to maneuver their tow vehicle & trailer."
