Home more than exceeded our expectations! There were plenty of different areas for conversation, kitchen was more than well stocked for cooking meals and the place was spotless! View from the back of the house was wonderful, overlooking the golf course and water.

Absolutely beautiful stay!The house is stunning and fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved cooking in the kitchen and spent most of our time on the gorgeous covered deck, soaking in the views of the water and the golf course. The AC worked perfectly to keep us cool in the heat, and Colleen was an incredibly accommodating and helpful host. The location is also fantastic—highly recommend it for easy day trips to Mystic and Groton!Note for future guests: If you are arriving in a low-clearance car (like our Toyota Corolla), we highly recommend using the secondary, shared driveway entrance. The main entrance can scuff lower-riding vehicles (though our SUV had zero issues). This is just a minor quirk of the terrain and didn't impact our 5-star experience at all, but it's a helpful trick to know!

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays! After a snowstorm, the walkways and driveway were shoveled and plowed first thing in the morning. It was a wonderful place to be with family for the holidays.

This home is stunning and we had a wonderful stay! We came for an event at the Coast Guard Academy which was about 15 minutes away. The home was very well stocked and it was quiet and relaxing. The owners are very accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We very much enjoyed our weekend in Groton. The host reached out to let us know the instructions to access the house. When we arrived everything was well lit and easy to access. The host left a book with pertinent information and restaurant recommendations. The house had everything we needed to cook clean and have a comfortable stay. We strongly recommend this beautiful property.

Amazing stay

We were 11 family members staying for 5 days. The hosts were so accommodating and gracious. The home is gorgeous and exceptionally appointed it had everything we needed and then some. We would 100% stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

This home had to have been the best rental I have ever stayed at. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed. The house offered amazing fews of the water and golf course. The porch was so comfortable to sit at in the morning and then in the evening when the sun set. We had a wonderful time. Hope to return in the future.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house was a ten out of ten and the perfect place to celebrate my 80th birthday with my son, daughter, son-in-law and 3-year-old granddaughter. It was beautifully decorated and had a chef’s kitchen with everything a chef could possibly want including spices. There were also wonderful views from every room and the covered porch with its sitting and dining areas overlooking Long Island Sound was the icing on the cake. The bed rooms were large and airy and two of them had window seats which lent an air of enchantment. There were even toiletries in the bathrooms. The location was great with so many nearby beaches and points of interest to visit and there was no shortage of fine dining establishments. At the end of our five night stay, we were sad to leave. Colleen was a wonderful host, and her care and attention were evident in every detail of the home. She even went above and beyond to help us with a small matter after our stay, which we greatly appreciated. It was without doubt the best B&B we ever stayed at. I am only sad that I can’t give it more than five stars.

The owners of the property are such lovely people. They are so kind and made our stay very welcoming. The house is amazing. The location is beautiful. We can walk to the water and the sunrises and sunsets made for such a peaceful ambience. We would definitely stay there again.

Quick Family Weekend

We loved this house! We were in town for a wedding, so we didn't spend as much time as we would have liked! The roooms were large and sunny, the views are incredible and the porch/deck overlooking the water and golfcourse was large and roomy! This is an ideal location for a group!

Beautiful place with fabulous views. We rented for a family funeral. Had more than enough space to host a get together for family (about 25 people). Hosts were flexible about giving us an extra hour to get packed up.

I would describe this property as an experience. My family and I spent Thanksgiving weekend here while visiting my son. There are four amazingly well-appointed bedrooms, a huge, luxurious living room with comfortable couches and fireplace. The kitchen had EVERYTHING I needed to cook for 12. The TV room across from kitchen is just as comfortable for watching TV or playing games. The location has views of the Thames River and the Long Island Sound. The sunsets were spectacular. Absolutely amazing.

This was the most beautiful home. We used it as the place for our bride to dress and take pictures for a wedding at the Branford House (a gorgeous venue) which is 1/4 mile from the house. I would recommend it as a bridal suite for any couple getting married in Groton or the surrounding area. The host was amazing. Friendly and helpful. And the house was CLEAN! I highly recommend! 10 out of 10.
