We’re sorry that the outdoor water sources being turned off in March were not communicated to you. The weather can be temperamental at best during that time of year, and we take precautions to protect the homeowner’s property from unforeseen freezing temperatures and the possibility of frozen or burst pipes. Regarding the second-floor TVs and Dish service, we did investigate the issue and found that the Dish system itself was functioning properly. The difficulty accessing the service was related to the TV setup rather than an outage with Dish. We also received repeated notifications from the home’s Alexa system during your stay, indicating that the equipment was active and being interacted with by a child. Many little ones are familiar with Alexa and thought nothing more of the interactions. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention and will continue looking for ways to make the home’s amenities and seasonal features clearer for future guests. Most importantly, we’re delighted that you enjoyed the home, the kitchen, the views, and its incredible beachfront location!
