Lake Norman Water Front Get-Away features a large modern travel trailer with 3 large slides for a roomy, at home feel. The Kitchenette features an island for extra prep space.
The living area has 2 recliners and a pull out sofa. The floor plan is well thought out for maximum room and even has an electric fireplace. The waterfront get-away has Large private dock with jet skis and boats available if needed, message me for more details. We can accommodate from 2 Adults/bedroom & 1-2 Kids/pull-out sofa (4 guest max-ask for details). The bedroom features a luxurious queen size mattress to enjoy a wonderful nights sleep. The unit is tucked into a nice shaded area right along the 220 foot of shoreline for a resort type feeling. Very Private and Location is great with everything in close distance. Park is 1/4 mile walking distance with public beach. From sun up till sun down you will love the lake side travel trailer and lakefront dock to enjoy.

No volume on the TV. No dish soap. No soap in the bathroom. Advertised as a two bedroom was a one

The property was nice overall. Could have been cleaned up outside. All the outside furniture has spider webs all over it. The owner did not respond to my texts .

It did the trick

Overall, this was a nice place and it did what we needed it. I’m in the fence if I’d stay there again. There are so many options available. First the cons: The bed wasn’t made and had stains on the mattress pad. Id recommend either changing that and maybe the mattress if the customer has to make the bed. There was a moldy coffee ground/filter in the coffee pot. I found that the thermostat had been turned off when we returned from our days festivities. Odd. I left it on when we left. The owner was a bit more inquisitive as to our plans that I was comfortable. He was VERY involved and he lives steps away from the camper. Pros: It was a good size camper that was well maintained. We knew exactly what to do and who to call if there were any problems or concerns. Quiet neighborhood. Lake side with a nice view. I like that it had a surprise diaper genie (didn’t use it - but it was a nice touch). Overall - solid 3 star rating.

Anniversary trip

We wanted rest and relaxation and were greeted with so much more! The lake just steps away, and access to owner dock put us in an instant relaxation mode. Watty and Angela exemplify the meaning of Host. They made us feel welcome and were super kind and we had a truly humbling experience during our stay! The accommodations exceeded expectations, were clean and everything needed was present and in superb working order! Watty and family thank you so much for such a positive experience! Scott&Kandra

Lakefront Luxury RV

Immaculate well appointed luxury rv right on the water of Lake Norman. We had access to the dock, water equipment, a large yard firepit, barbecue shaded seating area outside, all with absolute privacy. In an area of million dollar homes we had our own waterfront space with all the amenities. We felt privileged to be there.

Great for 2 people. Bring your own bed pillows and queen size sheets, not king. We enjoyed our 2 night stay!

A Perfect Weekend on the Lake

We had the perfect weekend, all thanks to Watty & the RV! The place was beautiful & just what we needed. The property was stunning from morning to night as the lake is right there. We brought our dog along & he enjoyed a nice weekend at the lake front property as well! Watty was super responsive & we even had a chance to rent out one of the boats for a day on the lake. We will be back soon!

Great location and amenities

We weren’t looking for anything fancy just a simple place to stay to enjoy the NASCAR race. This place exceeded our expectations. The host was so easy to reach whenever we had questions. The trailer was ideally located in a nice shady but spacious lot. Everything about inside was about comfort and was without feeling cramp. Location itself was conveniently located to all POI in the area.

Lake Norman

My family and I enjoyed the clean Rv and the warm waters of the lake. We used the kayaks and even my dog went swimming. We used to just sit and look at the lake while drinking coffee. It was very relaxing. I needed this break. Nice quiet neighborhood. Thanks Watty

Great spot on the water

The owner Watty was great,easy to contact for check-in and while we were there,I originally wanted to go tent camping but everything in the area was sold out, so I chose this RV and I'm glad I did,it's Very nice and spacious,the accommodations were excellent,we also enjoyed the fire pit down near the water,we used the grill and the full kitchen inside the RV for meals we had while setting by the lake, I had wanted to tent camp to make it more of an outside experience,instead of renting a house and setting on the deck,this place was perfect for the outdoors part,there are big trees you can take a lazy lounge under in the shade if you want to get out of the sun for a minute,of course with trees in NC there's gonna be a little pollen settled on everything,,but it's a nice trade off for shade or you can set waterside in the sun either on land or on the big dock,the dock is where we spent most of our time, I also took full advantage of the kayak and swimming,plenty of life jackets to choose from,the dock is inside the No-wake zone for boaters on the lake so you don't get the big waves knocking you over like you do in the wake zone, as with any camping experience outdoors you're gonna encounter a few bugs and small spiders here and there but they were there first,lol,overall great experience ,thanks Watty we will be back for sure

Great cozy place on the lake

This was a wonderful place to enjoy both a fun and relaxing week right on the water. The trailer was well designed with luxurious yet comfortable furnishings and lots of storage. There was a nice variety of watercraft available just outside at their dock. We did a lot of kayaking, and relaxed in the awesome hot tub afterwards. There even was a firepit near the water's edge. We celebrated a special event in their beautiful formal dining area overlooking the lake (note - you need to reserve this in advance as it is in their house). They went out of their way to open their house and had a huge variety of lovely flatware, glassware, and everything else prepared so we could dine in style. Watty was a great host, and answered all of our questions promptly. We would highly recommend the place and hope we can come back some day.

Misleading Listing and Poor Communication

What you see is not what you get with this listing. The trailer itself is actually quite nice and was clean and comfortable. The rest of the "amenities" leave much to be desired. The hot tub is on the owner's deck and was filthy- cover very heavy due to being waterlogged and tree limbs, branches, cobwebs and maintenance material scattered all around . The "private dock" is the owners dock and so is not really private- 200 ft. away across their back yard, and tables, chairs, cushions and boats were dirty- wouldn't enjoy sitting there and felt like we were trespassing. We asked about kayaks and were told they would be cleaned and ready, they were not- ended up locating them and cleaning them ourselves. Other pictures in the listing were complete mysteries to us- the "game room" and dining room- nothing to do with what was made available to us. When we asked for more details, we never heard back. We had also asked about renting the pontoon boat (3 days in advance) but the owner did not respond in a timely fashion to confirm or give final details. The biggest problem was that the owner does not communicate well or in a timely fashion. We had sent several messages in the app and the only communication we received from there was obviously auto generated messages that were preset- not actual responses to our questions. On the morning of our arrival, we still had not heard from the owner so we ended up having to Google him to find a phone number. Felt this should have been provided. He did call us back after our initial text. He was present at check in and was welcoming- showing us the features of the trailer. Over the course of our stay we texted multiple times about the kayaks, pontoon boat and how to light stove. Did not hear back and then got a call at 11:00 at night. Owner also owns a limousine service and on two nights we were awakened by the noise of the gravel, headlights shining in our bedroom window and loud conversations late at night. This was very frustrating and we decided to leave a day early as we could not plan ahead for a day on the lake. We were not feeling welcomed or informed. He responded with "if we had called him all of this could have been taken care of," making it feel like it was our fault. There was such a lack of communication after we had asked about several amenities after multiple contacts- texts, conversations in person and phone calls- very lacking in customer service and responsiveness. Renter beware.

Unfortunately trip cancelled day of. Refunded by owner immediately. Vrbo only accommodated for one night hotel stay. Guests came from northern Virginia for the trip at the lakeside, so very disappointed in the cancellation and Vrbos compensation.

"Glamp-ing" at it's BEST!!

Such a fun weekend with my sister & nephew in this high-end trailer located on Lake Norman! Very luxurious and well-equipped with plenty of room for the 4 of us. The owner, Watty, was always very prompt with his response to anything we needed. So when a stretch limo he owned pulled up with a coffee maker that night so we could enjoy a cup in the morning, that was the icing on the cake, way to go Watty, you deserve our 5-STAR rating LOL! Thanks for the memories!

Lake Glamping

We had such a wonderful time staying at the lake in the R.V. Watty, and his wife were so kind and very welcoming. The kids enjoyed all the amenities they had to offer including two nights of making smores by the fire. We definitely would love to make this a tradition when we come from Texas to visit our friends. We even did some night fishing. Good memories to go home with!

Awesome Birthday Weekend

We enjoyed our RV weekend get a way. The beautiful water front view from our RV window was one of the first things we noticed upon stepping into the RV. Watty was a very attentive and gracious host. We will be back. It was an awesome birthday weekend.
