Loved the property. It was well maintained and clean. Check in was easy. The property management team was quick and responsive. The only issue that I had was that on VRBO and on the confirmation emails from VRBO the property shows that it is on Bahama Street. It is not on Bahama Street. Not a huge deal, but I was looking for a place on Bahama Street. Would stay here again.

The property itself was five star, although there was an issue with establishing the correct location. Although the host was Vacay, it was subsequently contracted out to South Padre Trips for my stay.This is where the real problem began. First, I was sent a new agreement to sign and an additional 683.00 invoice to pay one hour before check-in. I was told I would not be allowed to check in unless both were taken care of. I had to go to the office. Although I had already signed an agreement with Vacay and provided personal identification, I had to sign another one and provide all of my personal identification, again.I refused to pay the additional invoice or give my credit card after repeated insistence by the assistant manager that I would not be allowed entry if I did not do so. I told the AM I would be happy to speak with the owner of their property management company and provide a copy of the paid invoice.He said I didn’t understand how it worked, he collected payments and billed the host (VACAY). It didn’t even make sense.Eventually I prevailed and was given an entry code.I won’t be using either Vacay or SPT for rentals again.

It’s a real nice spacious place, three minute walk to the beach in one direction and a pretty nice restaurant three minutes and the other direction. 10 minute walk south on the beach and there’s a nice breakfast place right on the beach. And super cool stuff to do within a 10 minute drive.
