Beautiful setting and the cabin was very quiet and comfortable. The touch of fresh flowers was lovely. If you are planning on cooking bring some spices. We visited with friends during a very hot week and the air conditioning kept the main area cool but found the bedrooms got warm at night.

So glad you found the cabin quiet and comfortable, and enjoyed the flowers 💐 We welcome you back anytime! And thanks for the tip of putting some fans in the bedrooms 👍🏽 Also, I would have given you 5 stars, on the various categories, but somehow VRBO ‘response’ cut me off before I submitted the ‘category’ ratings. (would have given 10 stars for leaving the place so tidy!! Thank you so much for this.) Hope your travels home were smooth.

This cottage, area, and experience was a delight from check in to departure. Easy uncomplicated checkin. The interior was immaculate and had such thoughtful attention to guest needs. The area is enchanting, with lovely landscaping and plenty of areas to enjoy walks. Betty Mae and Andrew are extremely responsive to any questions. They’re definitely super hosts. My stay was fun and relaxing; I’m looking forward to another visit.

The property was very nice. Clean, comfortable, peaceful. From the pictures, I assumed the firepit was right next to the cottage for easier use. The firepit is behind the other house. Besides that, make sure to bring board games or cards and your laptop if there are rainy days to keep yourself entertained. Overall, this property was a delight to stay at.

My family of 3 stayed for 2 nights in the Mira Bella cabin as we visited Canada from the US for a quick weekend getaway. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. It has so many little touches that made the stay a little extra special. Fresh flowers were placed throughout the dwelling and we even received more on our second day. There are many cute Knick-knacks as well to find inside. We also loved the warming floor tiles in the bathroom. It helped for those colder mornings/evenings as we visited in mid October (not that the cabin was too cold overall or anything like that. It was very comfortable). Betty Mae was a very attentive host and we couldn’t have been happier with the hospitality we received. She lives on the property but offers much of her yard as extra outdoor space for her guests. There is a fire pit and on our second night our daughter wanted to make s’more’s so she even got the fire pit going for us. At our invite, her and her husband stuck around for a little while too by the fire pit and offered some nice company—which we thoroughly enjoyed (especially our daughter who was pleased to have someone else watch and participate in a “show” she was putting on). I highly recommend a stay at Mira Bella if you are needing lodging in the area. You won’t regret it.

A wonderful stay!

The cottage and grounds were beautiful - so serene, completely surrounded by gardens, trees and plenty of birds and other wildlife. It was so quiet and peaceful - best sleep of our lives! The cottage itself was the perfect size, the beds were comfortable, and everything was immaculately cared for. The proximity of the cottage to beaches, farmers markets, wineries and breweries made for an eventful weekend. We will definitely stay again! Thanks so much Betty Mae!!

The cabin was very cute and cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying morning coffee. The property is beautiful and a lot to enjoy. Horse fly peak is early July so they were annoying but we had bug spray and didn’t ruin the beauty of the property. The beds were comfortable and we slept well at night. The cabin was very clean and easy to locate what we needed.

For a post-grad reunion trip, this spot was a perfect recharge getaway - the area is easy to find, beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was spacious, but cozy, and had a great wrap-around deck to relax on. The kitchen was cute - perfect for mixing a few drinks and making food - and had plenty of spaces to eat, play games, and set up our electronics. It was easy to communicate with the host (who was super friendly, available, and helpful). Four out of four people in this stay would absolutely go back, and reccommend it to others. Thanks for everything, Betty!

It was a short notice getaway for my wife and I. Betty Mae and the property were fantastic. We wanted quiet, away from high tempo and got it. Betty Mae and her husband saw I was going to set up a telescope to enjoy the night sky and jumped in to help. We slept well and couldn't get over the peace and quiet. Best way to describe the property is full of places of solitude. If you go try and find the catalpa. It's a beautiful specimen. I found the heated floor switch too late, but that's on me. Thanks for the stay Betty Mae.

This was a wonderful experience and should we ever require a VRBO in the London area we will definitely use this host and property. We were arriving late in the evening and as this was a rural property with no street lights our host had opened the property for us and turned on lights in the house. There were solar lights up the walkway and everything was well illuminated. We were pleasantly surprised to have freshly cut flowers both outside the cabin door and in several locations throughout the cabin. Everything we needed was provided and we were most comfortable and at home in this well appointed home.Thank you for your warmth and friendliness. We definently felt at ease and relaxed and very well taken care of throughout our week long stay atThis lovely rural property.
