Neptune Retreat-Overall Good

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Things did not start well as the outside patio was a mess and we discovered that the morning storm had blown the patio doors open on the 2nd and 3rd floor causing the respective rugs to get wet. This should have been found before we checked in, but the next morning the rugs were removed and the patio was cleaned up and from there everything was very good. The house is very nice, but the elevator was not working so climbing to the 3rd level was a little challenging for the senior in the group. The pool was virtually across the street which was VERY convenient. This house is located on the south side, so there is still construction going on and some of the amenities the north side has are not yet available. If you are looking for larger homes the south side has a greater variety. Cinnamon Shores is an excellent community which I do recommend, and they handled all of my issues quickly and professionally.

Overall Enjoyable, But Several Issues With The House

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I should have submitted this review right after our trip, but life got busy so I am just now getting around to it. Leading up to the trip, the staff was very helpful. They sent additional pictures of the view from 2 houses we were interested in renting. We had an enjoyable time at Cinnamon Shore as a whole, but the house had several issues while we were there. The outdoor furniture cushions on the 1st floor porch were very dirty, the outdoor fire place did not work, several doors were difficult to lock, the shuffle board table was in bad condition, there was water on the floor in the 3rd floor living room after it rained and the electricity would not work in the 3rd floor living room for half of our stay(which impacted lighting, TV etc in the main area where everybody hung out). We reported all of these issues during our stay. Staff members came twice to check on the issues, but the only issue that was fixed during our stay was one door lock. We know some of these issues are out of anybody’s control, but considering the amount of money we spent to rent the house, it would have been nice for more of the issues to have been checked before we arrived and/or fixed while we were there. We would like to visit Cinnamon Shore again, but we are hesitant to spend the money since we had so many unresolved issues with the house. I know it has probably been too long after our stay to request a partial refund, but it would be nice to receive some other type of compensation like a discount on a future stay. Dirty outdoor cushions, a non-functioning fireplace, difficult door locks, a damaged shuffleboard table, water coming in after rain, and electricity out in the main living area for half your stay these are significant issues that impacted your ability to enjoy the very space where everyone gathered, and we completely understand your frustration that only one was resolved during your visit. You deserve to feel confident that the money you spend at Cinnamon Shore delivers a home that is ready, well-maintained, and properly addressed when issues arise. Every concern you've raised is being shared with the homeowner and our maintenance team to ensure they are fully resolved before the next guests arrive. We hear your hesitation about returning, and we genuinely hope we can change that. You have been more than patient and gracious, and we hope you'll give us another chance to deliver the Cinnamon Shore experience you deserve.
