Escape to our cozy and romantic Ocean Forest Retreat nestled in the lush greenery, where the soothing sounds of the waves meet the rustling leaves.

Only a 7-minute drive or bus ride from the ferry terminal and close to all the amenities.

For high-end, modern comfort in a tranquil setting, this is your good vibes destination for a few nights or an extended stay. Whether you want to hike, bike, head to the beaches, or watch Netflix & chill, this is a great getaway for exploring Bowen Island.

The space
The Ocean Forest Retreat has peep views facing the spectacular Howe Sound Mountain. The suite is an open concept with a cozy and modern design. Covered outdoor living space allows for year-round barbecues.

The suite has a full kitchen, heated floors, a smart TV for all of your streaming and computer connectivity, Bluetooth audio for your playlists or podcasts, and lots of board games

The suite can accommodate 3 people (or 2 adults and 2 kids). One luxury queen-size bed in the bedroom and a pullout double-size sofa bed in the living room.

The kitchen has a fridge, electrical stove, oven, microwave, hot water kettle, and a French Press coffee machine. There are pots, pans, utensils, plates, salts, and peppers available in the suite. Also, a BBQ on the covered patio with a side burner for our guests to cook.

There is beach access close by, (7min walk), and a lot of trails around.

We are inclusive, and welcoming and are well-suited to families (with kids), solo adventurers, business travelers, or couples. Sleeps 2-3. Dog friendly (extra cleaning fees apply, charged post stay).

Guest access
The guest suite is on the ground level, but access from the parking area requires walking up a set of outdoor stairs. Because of this, the suite isn’t suitable for guests with limited mobility. The guest suite has its own entrance and private covered patio, which is facing the Howe Sound mountain and the ocean. It is self check-in and out.

The property was beautiful, in a lovely location. However as I’m just 5 ft I had a bit of difficulty reaching the higher shelves in the kitchen, and the shampoo/ conditioner in the shower

Lovely place. Worked for us since we were out doing things. Communication was excellent. Only warning — lots of stairs going up to door so beware with any mobility issues.

This was a great location-quiet and serene. The accommodation was clean and the covered porch with outdoor seating & eating space with a barbecue was a great bonus. The host was very attentive, including a welcome note, drink & a chocolate. The kitchen is equipped with everything. Peaceful spot!

A beautifully maintained suite that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked for any who want to cook in suite. The bed was comfortable and we loved the rain shower. We would definitely stay again.

A wonderful stay on Bowen island. Our hosts made my partner and I, and our dog feel so welcome ! The suite was lovely and a lovely garden space for our doggo. Loved visiting local beaches, shops and art galleries. Great location and a wonderful stay. Would recommend! Thank you :)

Wonderful suite with great views. Very quiet and tranquil. Lots of space in suite with great decor. Fully equipped kitchen. Great deck with seating and bbq. Easy access to cove with restaurants and shops. Very welcoming host.

Be careful to book! Even already charge cleaning fee while booking, but the host force us to pay large amount of damage fee as extra cleaning fee, saying that the floor is dirty or smell reason.

I was genuinely shocked to find our suite left in such a disrespectful state. This is the first time I've had to request a damage fee, but the condition it was left in, a significant mess and a strong, unpleasant odor, made it unavoidable. We had to spend many extra hours cleaning, and due to the lingering smell, we couldn’t rent the suite for several days.

Bowen Island Relax and Enjoy

This property offers a secluded, relaxing place to unwind. The room replicates its surrounding environment—a place to kick back and chill. My Caveat: There are a significant number of stairs to access your room. Minimize the luggage and accessories you have to take up. Parking is on an incline. It would be nice if the parking space were level. Overall, I would recommend it if you're looking for a place to relieve the Hurley Burley of life as it is today. Enjoy your stay.

Judith and her family have a beautiful suite that we were so lucky to stay in for our week on Bowen island. They were very accommodating and went over and above to make our stay fantastic. The covered deck was one of our favorite places to sit and enjoy the beauty all around us in the morning for coffee or in the evening while we BBQ’d or sat out and played cards. Also The bed was extremely comfortable , which always makes sleeping away from home more enjoyable. There are a steep set of stairs to climb to get to the suite but they have installed a railing to assist you if needed. There is a beach a few minutes up the hill , and many others all over the island to explore and enjoy ! Bowen Island is a treasure to have found and we will most certainly be rebooking with Judith if we get the opportunity to return.
