The host was a good communicator and responded quickly when we arrived and needed immediate assistance, which we appreciated. The property itself is nice, but it could use a thorough deep clean. There was quite a bit of dust on the light fixtures and baseboards. The kitchen was missing some basics we expected from a VRBO. There is a coffee machine but no coffee, no salt or pepper, no oven pans, and no kitchen towels for washing or drying dishes. These are small things, but having a functional kitchen was one of the reasons we chose a VRBO.I would recommend bringing your own towels, as the ones provided were small and worn, with not enough for both showering and hot tub use.The property is directly beside a highway, so traffic and train noise was quite loud overnight. Pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.Only one parking spot is included. Additional parking is paid, limited, and not guaranteed.Lastly, the outdoor lights along the steps were not working, making the stairs very dark at night.Overall, a nice property and responsive host, but a few improvements would make the stay much more comfortable.
