The property was in excellent condition. The amenities were top notch and very modern. Our host Brian answered all our questions and was available at a moments notice for the whole duration of our stay. For my family we utilized the 3rd story master bedroom along with the pull out bed in the loft for my 2 young kids.

Grown up getaway

If you are looking for a weekend or week to relax and enjoy lakefront living - this should be a stop! The owner was helpful and thoughtful. The layout was excellent and it’s better than the photos. Looked great on line - it was better in person!

Lake house

Had a great time at the lake house. House was well done and the grounds were excellent. Beautiful spot on the lake. We brought our sons boat and we’re able to enjoy the lake all day. Brian and Nyree were very helpful with info on the lake and surrounding area. I definitely recommend choosing their property for your stay, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect lake house

The house is immaculately kept and spares no attention to detail. The owners are as helpful and communicative as you’ll ever find, and are truly good people on top of it all. To me, a lake house is a place that makes you want to spend all of your time near or in the lake, and this place fits that description perfectly. What a great place to unwind!

Candlewood Lake

We had a lovely weekend away. The house was clean and comfortable. The outdoor space was spectacular! Beautiful flowers and a perfect spot to enjoy the lake. Well equipped with everything we could need. We only stayed 2 nights. We would have taken advantage of outdoor kitchen steps from the dock if we had stayed longer. Our hosts were welcoming and we appreciated all of the info they provided about the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect in every way

The attention to detail in this waterfront home was exceptional! We can’t say enough about the home. The owners communicated quickly. If you’re a bourbon or jack Daniels lover (Harley Davidson too) you will appreciate the family’s collections. Very clean home with all essentials and then some! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this stunning Candlewood Lake home. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the high-end touches everywhere- everything from the bowls to the electric garbage can felt thoughtfully chosen. Even the toilet seats were heated! The appliances were top-of-the-line, the light switches were clearly labeled, and the decor was beautiful and cohesive. Each morning, we loved having breakfast together as a family on the deck, soaking in the peaceful lake views. The grounds were beautifully maintained and landscaped, and the dock, with its tasteful lighting, created a magical evening atmosphere. The kids had a blast using their inflatable water toys, as well as all of the provided kayaks and stand-up kayak. We appreciated being able to borrow life preservers, and the detailed step-by-step instruction book made settling in easy and stress-free.It was also great to have a high-end TV with a Bose sound system, where every night the kids and I would watch a movie together as we unwound from a fun-filled day on the lake. While the kids needed to be mindful when crossing the road to the dock, the road was not busy and never noisy. We had such a special time here with both grandpa and the grandkids - paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing (the kids loved it!), and spending time on the boat out of nearby Echo Bay dock, where we enjoyed water skiing and surfing. The backyard hot tub was the perfect way to relax after our adventures.

The perfect lake vacation

We loved our memorable trip to the lake at Brian and Nyree’s home. The house is immaculate, comfortable, and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The lakeside outdoor kitchen made meals especially fun, and we enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle boards as well as long swims in the clean and lovely lake. Our hosts were great communicators and offered many helpful tips. From my 13-year old son who can be a bit hard to please: “mom, this was such a great idea to come here.”

Amazing Lake Living!

Our family vacation at Brian and Nyree's beautiful lake house was wonderful. Recently updated home is very clean and has everything you need for lakeside living, including high end appliances both indoors and outside and a very thoughtful welcome basket. Our stay was comfortable and very enjoyable, loved starting the day with my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the beautiful lake. The kids enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the kayaks which included life jackets. Thank you Brain and Nyree for opening up your home to us!!!

Cozy, super clean lake house with amazing views!

My family and I loved staying at Brian’s home. Thoughtful touches throughout made our stay comfortable, and a sweet welcome basket. Top-notch hospitality. Morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake was so peaceful. Kids loved swimming off the dock, and hanging out in the loft area. My husband enjoyed the gourmet kitchen! Really, really clean... even behind-the-scenes things like the washing machine door and dryer lint trap were well-maintained. Labeled light switches (so helpful!), well-documented instructions made the house easy. Brian met me at check-in to walk me through and answer my questions. Prompt text correspondence. Kids had to be careful crossing the busy road, but we didn’t find road noise an issue and we all slept well. A bit of a steep walk down to the water, but we didn’t mind getting our steps in. Life jackets and inflatable water toys that we could borrow! Overall, a delightful stay, thank you again!

Amazing Lake House

This lake house had it all. Every creature comfort was waiting for you, from high end appliances and outdoor kitchen equipment, down to pots/pans and even phone chargers and wood for the fire pit. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by the awesome home owners (Brian/Nyree) with a welcome basket of goodies, plus they were also nice enough to leave a personal welcome card. Those little extra touches really describe the home owners and the attention to detail that you’ll notice, both inside the house and outside on the their beautiful waterfront area. We had an amazing time relaxing on this gorgeous property!

Amazing lake front setup!

Our family had a amazing time at Brian and Nyree’s home! The private lake setup is really unique with every amenity you could possibly need - a full outdoor kitchen setup, fire pit, boat slip, paddle board, kayak and fishing equipment and several spaces to relax and enjoy (each with an umbrella to control the right amount of sun and shade). The house has a nice lake vibe and features all updated appliances. Brian made us feel super welcome, was quick to respond and very willing offer suggestions. We just booked another weekend!
