This is one of the three amazing renovated warehouse studio apt. @emilysontheisland.
In the middle of the historic downtown Galveston amongst all the bars and restaurants. 1 mile walk to beach. Free off street parking! 2 free Bikes to enjoy during your stay! Free snacks and waters!
If you tag and share Emily`s on the Island during your stay come see us at The Design Center next door for your FREE T-shirt!!!!!

This is the coolest location downtown. You will enter on the rt side of the warehouse. Stroll down the lit garden path to the first black door. You have arrived at `Banana Bay!

Lockbox at your door you will be given access 30 minutes prior to check in

We are lucky enough to be here on the island so if you were to ever need our assistance we are here however we totally respect your privacy!

This is the coolest location downtown. Quiet, safe and quick walk to `mod` coffee shop and all of the finest locally owned restaurants Galveston has to offer. Everything is located a block or 2 between the historic strand and Post Office Street. You are 1 mile walk from the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier

Convenient location, loved available bicycles to travel around and explore. Very clean and Emily was extremely helpful.

The Banana Bay room was the perfect size for my wife and I. The only issue we had was that our coffee maker did not work. Not a deal breaker due to a local coffee shop within walking distance, but still a little disappointing. There was also a piece of the trim on the kitchen cabinet that was not connected. Overall though it was clean, beautifully decorated and the shower was excellent.

Banana Bay is AWESOME!

Hands down one of my favorite stays in Galveston. The location can not be beat - and the apartment is WONDERFUL. So beautifully decorated, and outfitted perfectly with everything you need to be comfortable. WAY better than most hotel rooms. Emily was super nice and accommodating. This property has been bookmarked for future visits!

Perfect couple getaway

We loved everything about Emily’s place! It was a perfect location, we could walk to The Strand and it was a short drive to The Seawall. Would definitely stay again.

stay for an Opera House concert

The Banana Bay room had the perfect get-away vibe. It was clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance to Strand + Grand Opera House. Thank you, Emily, for a refreshing Galveston weekend.

Galveston get away

This property was fabulous! Exactly as represented online. We were able to walk to many restaurants and shops and only got back into the car to go to the beach. Check in was a breeze and communication with the owner was super quick! Would definitely stay again.

Cutest stay!

Thus property was clean and safe. The decor was awesome and we didn't want to leave. It was a cool oasis in the middle of a Galveston heat wave.

Fell in love!

My husband and I had a quick overnight stay celebrating our anniversary. We fell in love with Emily’s on the Island. Banana Bay was so dreamy and just perfect for our quick trip. It was nice to park and walk to all favorite restaurants and bars. Can’t wait to go back and stay in The Pink Room!

Close walk to the Strand

Stayed her for our first visit to Galveston. Great location that was easy walking distance to the Strand. Location was super clean & we really enjoyed the decor. Attention to detail was placed in usability for the space and it was a great home base for our exploration of the city. Emily was a great host and answered lots of questions for us about places to eat & visit. We’ll book here again for sure our next trip.
