This home is in a great location and our stay was very nice. The pool was excellent for my kiddos since it has a shallow area. Be prepared to buy lots of basics (salt, pepper, cooking spray) as there isn’t much there but they do provide plenty of pots and pans!

Location is amazing! We brought a heavy duty pop up tent and used it at the pool for extra shade all week. The house does have an umbrella that screws into the tanning ledge to use as well but a canopy was nice to have in addition. The beach is sooooo close - perfect for shelling any time of day! And when we weren’t at the beach or in the pool the kids were playing in the sand on the volleyball court!

While the contract from the host states no refunds for any reason... just an opinion here.. but it should not include being forced to leave due to a hurricane. I did not get insurance based on being willing to stay during bad weather. Was not expecting to be forced to leave after less than 24 hours. VRBO seems to be on my side, but the host isnt willing to budge as of right now. More than willing to change that opinion if something changes. But the property was nice and what we wanted. However, the circumstances on wasting hard earned money on 22 hours out of 4 days really sucks.

Good: really close to the beach, nice area, clean, everything works, freshly painted. Dog treat on a table was a really welcoming touch.Mixed: some areas show it's age, pool is very nice, but could be cleanerThe house is especially good for extended families as there is a separate suite downstairs.

PBP was quick to fix the AC that went out within an hour of our checkin. The company that came to fix it said the host won’t fix it properly to keep from freezing up so they come out regularly. Fortunately, it didn’t happen again but it made for an uncomfortable first night while the house cooled back down. Our bed was very comfortable and lots of room at the dining table and outside for our group of 11. Short walk to the beach was great. We didn’t like that one of the bedrooms was completely separate from the rest of the house. This was not clearly depicted by pictures or the description. Did not like having some of our children separate from us and worried about them remembering to keep the door locked/not hearing them if something happened.

Overall, the property was wonderful. Enjoyed having the separate spaces and the private pool. Would highly recommend and stay there again.There were a few hiccups, though...It would have been nice to have dish towels and oven mitts in the kitchen. We had to improvise with bath towels. So if you're staying here, bring your own.Expect your door codes at the exact check-in time, not a minute before.My only real complaint is about the communication with the rental company when we had an internet problem. It was disappointing because the response was long and hard to decipher. It would have been easier if it were just a simple text string in the messages rather than a long email I had to sit down to read to find the answer.

Close to Beach, Poor Communication from Management Company

Overall this property is an excellent location. Close to the beach and a great pool. Unfortunately the communication with the management company was not ideal. Less than 24 hours before we arrived they notified us the dryer was not working and it would be fixed a few days into our stay. I had to request additional towels and ask about repair timing. More proactive communication was needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Pensacola. The hosts were incredibly welcoming to both us and our dog, which made the trip even more enjoyable. They had everything we needed at the house to the point that I realized I had overpacked.The location is excellent. It is easy to get around the area and very close to dog friendly beaches, which was perfect for us. We brought our 110 lb German Shepherd and the home was very comfortable for the three of us, while still being large enough that it would easily accommodate additional guests.The house itself had a few small quirks, but for the price it was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The pool area was nice, but it is not heated and the water was extremely cold, so it was unfortunately unusable during our visit. We are from Minnesota and even we could not handle that temperature.The WiFi and DVD player were not working during our stay, but it honestly did not impact our experience.One thing that really stood out was the property management company. The home is managed by a separate team and they were some of the sweetest and most helpful people we have dealt with while traveling. We have friends in the area and plan to come back, and we will absolutely look to book another property that they manage.Overall this was a fantastic experience for us and our dog. We would absolutely stay here again. 5 out of 5 stars.

Excellent, very close beach access. The pool was a great addition, especially since we stayed during Tropical Depression Bertha and double red flags days after.
