OCEANSIDE VILLAGE - 3 Bedroom 2 bath Ground unit

Our home has three bedrooms and two full baths, kitchen is stocked with Biltmore Chef Series cookware, dishware including utensils and glasses. The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig, hand mixer, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, new refrigerator. There's also a crock pot, Insta Pot, electric can opener, blender, everything you'd need to cook and serve a meal.

Spectrum cable and internet.

We provide beach umbrella, beach towels and beach cart if you don't want to bring your own.

There is a Cornhole board, tennis rackets and bicycles for adults and children.

There is a nice patio with dining table/chairs for 4, fire pit, seating area for 6, outdoor bar with 2 stools.

We are pet friendly, there is a dog park within walking distance of our home. We provide a pet waste station. We allow 2 pets and they MUST be included on the reservation and pet fee MUST be paid. No large dogs and no aggressive breeds.

Oceanside Village is located between Business 17 and N. Waccamaw Drive off Melody Lane in Surfside Beach. We are within walking distance to the beach and there is also private beach front parking, there are bathrooms and a shower area to wash the sand off your feet, beach chairs and beach toys.

We are close to Garden City, Murrell's Inlet, Pawley's Island, Huntington Beach State Park and Myrtle Beach State Park.

Food Lion grocery store is located right across the street for all your grocery needs. There is a flea market within minutes if you like to shop or just like to look around.
Owner is on-site and is always available to answer any questions that you may have and can tell you where the best restaurants and other places are to go!

If you are interested in planning a trip for fishing, Neil can help you plan it with local knowledge of guides, charters and local fishing spots.

We strive to have our guests have a wonderful stay in our home! We can always be reached by phone, text, email or through VRBO.

*Indoor pool is currently CLOSED for renovations, BOTH outdoor pools are open.

Great all around.

We had a great time in your property. Neil was very helpful with info about local fishing spots, local restaurants and even things to do. The property was clean and really nice. We appreciate being able to stay here. Thank you!

Nice

Neil was very helpful in telling us about things to do and see as well as places to eat. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots to do in the area. Golf cart was a bonus.

Salty Santas house

Hands down best place to stay.Garden city /Surfside beach Private gated community, everyone is so nice. It's located.In the middle of just about everything food, Groceries, entertainment, The Beach And just about everything else you can think of. The owners are so cool I mean, he's Santa, for Goodness sakes. What could be cooler Then staying with Santa Claus, They are extremely cool owners Their on site At all times Barely even noticed they're home most times But they are If you need them And they will help you anyway, that they can. I love this place and I will definitely renting from them Again. Lol I even got to be one of Santa's helpers for a sweet little boy who was visitingHis grandpa i love it... So if You're looking For a great place to stay in Garden city/Surfside beach Look no further than this place.Thank you So much for all your Hospitality Mr an Miss Salty Santa.

Fun place to stay

Despite a tropical storm, we made the most of our trip. The amenities helped keep the kids entertained. The hosts were available when needed and the space fit our family of 5 and our dog very well.

We had a wonderful stay…..the owners were helpful with anything we needed and so nice and friendly….the house is very convenient to the beach especially with the golf cart….we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family….would love to stay again.

Oceanside Village Stay

We booked our trip for a last-minute Birthday/Fishing Trip. The owners were very quick to respond with questions i had about the area such as fishing spots. This is a gated community right across from the beach. Great access to everything you need. They had 3 pools, 1 indoor 2 outside a splashpad for the kids and a big hot tub. The owners are great and super nice!

WOULD STAY AGAIN FOR SURE

The property was very nice, it was clean and offered everything you could want. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for a quick meal or a family fancy meal. The beds were nice and comfy.

Nice and Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely rent again with our kids if the house is available. The house was very nice and clean, had everything needed for cooking and/or grilling. Stuff you could use for the beach and/or pool, and we loved the golf cart usage.

Pet friendly

Beachy Shabby Chic

Loved the decorations. It is not the Taj Mahal but it is very comfy. I would stay again! Parking is tight but the golf cart makes your day!

Excellent Experience

The property had everything you could think of! The owners were very nice even when our little one locked the bedroom door and they needed to come in to open it up. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Welcoming and felt right at home

The house was beautiful and very inviting. We had everything we needed from kitchen appliances to a grill and bikes to ride around. We also had a golf cart that made for easy access around the village and to the beach. Neil made us feel at home and was there if we needed anything. We definitely recommend staying here!

This was a great week! The property had a great location inside Oceanside village.. walking distance to the outside pools, & a good golf cart to get back and forth to the beach. My family loves this area, & this was one of our best stays, we hope to come back soon!

Great Location

Our stay was excellent! The hosts were very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. They allowed us to have a late check out with no extra charge due to holiday traffic. The location and the convenience of the golf cart was amazing. 3 beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels were all provided. I only subtracted one star simply because the place could use a few updates and I felt as if the floor had some sand on it when we arrived, as if it had not been mopped. Otherwise, awesome place for a few friends or a small family.

Property was not overly clean. When we arrived the floor appeared to be unswept. Most disappointing was the outside patio. Patio and furniture were very dirty. Bar top was broken and bikes were laying in a pile in the yard. More information upon checkin would have been helpful. The $30 gate pass should be included in the rental fee. Overall we had a great time.

Not the best

Upon arrival we realized we were staying in the bottom unit and the owner lived up top. It does say that in the listing I did not read that part unfortunately. He does park his car there so if there's more than one car you'll have to park the 2nd car in overflow parking. We walked inside and immediately smelled urine. It is pet friendly so I'm assuming that's why. Our A/c unit quit working after the 1st night there. We had a/c 2 nights out of our 7 night stay. The ceiling tile in my kids room fell every time the door shut and fiber glass was everywhere. We vacuumed about 5 times during our stay to get it all up. I will say the owner was very responsive to all issues when I messaged him but unfortunately nothing was really done about it. The A/c guy came out next day after my complaint, fixed it ( we had a/c that night) then next day it froze up and we had none the rest of the week. We ended up leaving a day early bc it was just too hot. We won't stay there again.

Nightmare

Our stay was very disappointing to say the least. 1. Outside trash cans were overflowing and smelled from previous people. We had to endure Saturday to Tuesday this smell and flies everywhere with nowhere to put our trash. 2. Roach bugs were present with one falling on me while sitting on couch. 3. Washing Machine had overflow problems with carpet wet in bedroom when we arrived. 4. Small parking spot was terrible. 5. Carpet was dirty. 6. AC didn’t function well. 7. Only shower hot/cold water turn off didn’t work. 8. House stunk even using candles and Lysol everyday, our stuff even smelled like the place! 9. Owner did refund cleaning fee back. But for the money we had to pay, it was the worst experience we’ve ever had and we’ve been coming to the Beach for over 30 yrs. How, anyone can charge so much for a place like this. We are not demanding or bad folks but this stay here will never happen to us or our friends hopefully ever again.

Returning Guest

We have now stayed at this property twice in the last few years (5 years in a row at Oceanside Villlage). Clean, easy to access and comfortable for all. Love that our dogs were allowed and there’s a pretty private little side yard for them. Close to pool and dog park. Something to note - master bathroom only has a tub, no shower. So there is only one shower in the unit. Owners are great and helpful with pointing you towards nice local spots! Thank you Neil and Stephanie!

Neil and Stephanie Lynch are the homeowners and have been married since 12/26/2019. Neil is a retired nurse and has owned the home for 25+ years. Stephanie is a local county government employee in NC and commutes between NC and SC. Between them there are 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Our other "children" are our Shih Tzus Bandit and Arlo, both are very friendly, love meeting people, love children, love meeting other dogs and LOVE golf cart rides!

We want our guests to have a GREAT vacation! We have many extras at no additional charge that other homeowners don't provide such as beach umbrella, beach cart, bicycles, and gas grill. We provide gas for the grill. Neil or Stephanie can always be reached if you need anything or have any issues or concerns.

The home is located in Oceanside Village which is a gated community in Surfside Beach SC. The community has many amenities such as 2 outdoor pools, splash pad for kids, hot tub, indoor pool, tennis courts, playground, picnic area by the outdoor pools, private beach front access/parking, dog park and several lakes with geese and swans. We are close to Garden City, Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island. There is also plenty to do that is just a short drive away.
