OCEANSIDE VILLAGE - golf cart included, bottom unit, no stairs, pet friendly.

Our home has three bedrooms and two baths, New flooring and new paint throughout. Kitchen is stocked with Biltmore Chef Series cookware, with dishware for service for twelve, including utensils and glasses. The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig, hand mixer, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, new refrigerator. There's also cookware, crock pot, electric can opener, everything you'd need to cook and serve a meal. Spectrum cable and internet.

We provide beach umbrella and beach towels if you don't want to bring your own. There is a Cornhole board and bicycles for adults and children.

There is a nice patio with dining table/chairs for 6, fire pit and it's private.

We are pet friendly, there is a dog park within walking distance of our home. We provide a pet waste station and outside water bowl for taking your pet outside or so they can get a quick drink after taking them for a walk. We allow 2 pets and they MUST be included on the reservation and pet fee MUST be paid. No large dogs and no aggressive breeds.

Oceanside Village is located between Business 17 and N. Waccamaw Drive off Melody Gardens in Surfside Beach. We are within walking distance to the beach and there is also private beach front parking, there are bathrooms and a shower area to wash the sand off your feet, beach chairs and beach toys. We are close to Garden City, Murrell's Inlet, Pawley's Island, Huntington Beach State Park and Myrtle Beach State Park.

Food Lion grocery store is located right across the street for all your grocery needs. There is a flea market within minutes if you like to shop or just like to look around. We are new to VRBO but not new to the vacation business, so give us a try you won't be disappointed and will want to make our home your yearly vacation destination to enjoy with your family!

WE RENT FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY MAY THROUGH AUGUST. Owner is on-site and is always available to answer any questions that you may have and can tell you where the best restaurants and other places are to go!

If you are interested in planning a trip for fishing, Neil can help you plan it with local knowledge of guides, charters and local fishing spots.

Nice

Neil was very helpful in telling us about things to do and see as well as places to eat. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots to do in the area. Golf cart was a bonus.

Great week

Just spent a wonderful week here! Everything was as described and having a golf cart to get to the beach was a bonus. Our dog loved the rides! Enjoy the Christmas season Santa(Neil) and Stephanie. Thanks for a great stay!

Fun place to stay

Despite a tropical storm, we made the most of our trip. The amenities helped keep the kids entertained. The hosts were available when needed and the space fit our family of 5 and our dog very well.

We had a wonderful stay…..the owners were helpful with anything we needed and so nice and friendly….the house is very convenient to the beach especially with the golf cart….we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family….would love to stay again.

Oceanside Village Stay

We booked our trip for a last-minute Birthday/Fishing Trip. The owners were very quick to respond with questions i had about the area such as fishing spots. This is a gated community right across from the beach. Great access to everything you need. They had 3 pools, 1 indoor 2 outside a splashpad for the kids and a big hot tub. The owners are great and super nice!

Nice and Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely rent again with our kids if the house is available. The house was very nice and clean, had everything needed for cooking and/or grilling. Stuff you could use for the beach and/or pool, and we loved the golf cart usage.

WOULD STAY AGAIN FOR SURE

The property was very nice, it was clean and offered everything you could want. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for a quick meal or a family fancy meal. The beds were nice and comfy.

Loved the decorations. It is not the Taj Mahal but it is very comfy. I would stay again! Parking is tight but the golf cart makes your day!

The property had everything you could think of! The owners were very nice even when our little one locked the bedroom door and they needed to come in to open it up. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We have now stayed at this property twice in the last few years (5 years in a row at Oceanside Villlage). Clean, easy to access and comfortable for all. Love that our dogs were allowed and there’s a pretty private little side yard for them. Close to pool and dog park. Something to note - master bathroom only has a tub, no shower. So there is only one shower in the unit. Owners are great and helpful with pointing you towards nice local spots! Thank you Neil and Stephanie!

Welcoming and felt right at home

The house was beautiful and very inviting. We had everything we needed from kitchen appliances to a grill and bikes to ride around. We also had a golf cart that made for easy access around the village and to the beach. Neil made us feel at home and was there if we needed anything. We definitely recommend staying here!

Great Location

Our stay was excellent! The hosts were very responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. They allowed us to have a late check out with no extra charge due to holiday traffic. The location and the convenience of the golf cart was amazing. 3 beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels were all provided. I only subtracted one star simply because the place could use a few updates and I felt as if the floor had some sand on it when we arrived, as if it had not been mopped. Otherwise, awesome place for a few friends or a small family.

This was a great week! The property had a great location inside Oceanside village.. walking distance to the outside pools, & a good golf cart to get back and forth to the beach. My family loves this area, & this was one of our best stays, we hope to come back soon!

Dream Weekend!

This place is awesome. The 6 of us had a great time going to the beach and hanging at the house. A previous review mentioned broken AC, it must have been fixed because the climate inside was great. The complimentary golf cart was so nice to use, and allowed for a short trip to private beach access. We all can't wait to come back!

Property was not overly clean. When we arrived the floor appeared to be unswept. Most disappointing was the outside patio. Patio and furniture were very dirty. Bar top was broken and bikes were laying in a pile in the yard. More information upon checkin would have been helpful. The $30 gate pass should be included in the rental fee. Overall we had a great time.

Enjoyed our stay in Surfside Beach

Me, my boyfriend and doggie really enjoyed our month-long stay in Surfside Beach. House was very homey and comfortable - there’s a cute beach theme throughout. We definitely had plenty of room, since it’s three bedrooms/ two baths. Kitchen was well equipped (we like to cook). Wireless internet speed wasn’t the fastest, so I plugged into the modem which was fine for working remotely. The complex was quiet (our stay was in February) and clean and very dog friendly. It was great to be able to walk our dog on streets without many cars. There are also two dog parks, basketball courts, and tennis courts that we enjoyed using. Didn’t use the pools, but there are two! Outdoor one was closed during our stay but indoor was open. The beach is about 10 minute walk or you can get a key card ($20) and park in the private lot. We loved having easy beach access. Also dogs were allowed on the beach (but the rules are probably different in the summer.) We were sad that we had to leave, especially when the sun came out on the day we were leaving! We’d definitely go back again.

Not the best

Upon arrival we realized we were staying in the bottom unit and the owner lived up top. It does say that in the listing I did not read that part unfortunately. He does park his car there so if there's more than one car you'll have to park the 2nd car in overflow parking. We walked inside and immediately smelled urine. It is pet friendly so I'm assuming that's why. Our A/c unit quit working after the 1st night there. We had a/c 2 nights out of our 7 night stay. The ceiling tile in my kids room fell every time the door shut and fiber glass was everywhere. We vacuumed about 5 times during our stay to get it all up. I will say the owner was very responsive to all issues when I messaged him but unfortunately nothing was really done about it. The A/c guy came out next day after my complaint, fixed it ( we had a/c that night) then next day it froze up and we had none the rest of the week. We ended up leaving a day early bc it was just too hot. We won't stay there again.

Neil and Stephanie Lynch are the homeowners and have been married since 12/26/2019. Neil is a retired nurse and has owned the home for 25+ years. Stephanie is a local county government employee in NC and commutes between NC and SC. Between them there are 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Our other "children" are our Shih Tzus Bandit and Arlo, both are very friendly, love meeting people, love children, love meeting other dogs and LOVE golf cart rides!

We want our guests to have a GREAT vacation! We have many extras at no additional charge that other homeowners don't provide such as golf cart, beach umbrella, beach cart, bicycles, and gas grill. We provide gas for the grill. Neil or Stephanie can always be reached if you need anything or have any issues or concerns.

The home is located in Oceanside Village which is a gated community in Surfside Beach SC. The community has many amenities such as 2 outdoor pools, splash pad for kids, hot tub, indoor pool, tennis courts, playground, picnic area by the outdoor pools, private beach front access/parking, dog park and several lakes with geese and swans. We are close to Garden City, Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island. There is also plenty to do that is just a short drive away.
