This property worked perfectly for our group of families traveling together for our annual summer vacation. The pool and lots of outdoor space was enjoyed by the whole group and we loved the outdoor covered area by the pool to still be able to hang outside during one of the few rainstorms we had during our stay. Any questions we had during our stay were responded to promptly.

This is a beautifully appointed place with the pool, game room, basketball court and movie room. However, there were some glitches. Grass was not cut so there were bees, so firepit was unusable. We were there for a full rainy (very rainy) week so the basketball court was inaccessible (no walkway to get there, grass area swampy with all the rain we got). Fenced in yard has large gaps, so exterior was not so 'pet friendly'.Don't get me wrong this is a beautiful spot with a lot of land and dispite the torential rain we got we had a good time. It sleeps 14!!! We had a small crew but it will work for a large family. I have written to the owner to update them on any issues we had and I hope they take these notes and impliment. Don't shy away from this listing, it has so much to offer.

We enjoyed this home. The kitchen was well equipped and the game/movie room was tons of fun for us. The only thing that we expected was to play basketball (which is shown in the pictures). It looks like there’s renovations being done near or on the property. Overall, I would recommend this house. It’s spacious and well maintained.

Sadly, the kitchen was poorly equipped with pots and pans. There were very limited number of poots and pans. We had to purchase several pots from Walmart , just to prepare dinner.

Pictures Don’t match Property 🚩

This property was dirty and under construction. Several of the pictures aren’t what the property looks like now. The amenities were a large reason we choose to the stay here, there’s no basketball nets anymore it’s soccer frames at the end of a slab. The pool table and air hockey table aren’t the ones pictured, lower quality choices. The chairs in the theater room were not clean. The washing machine where all the towels and bedding are washed was gross. We didn’t even stay the full trip booked. The guest host also never responded. Don’t recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the property did not meet your expectations. Since the listing photos were taken, several updates have been made to the home, including new stainless-steel appliances, updated flooring, and replacement of the game room equipment. We understand how differences between photos and the current property could be frustrating, and we have since followed up with Evolve to schedule a new photoshoot so the listing more accurately reflects these improvements. We were also sorry to hear about your concerns regarding communication and have shared your feedback with our team for review. Thank you for sharing your experience as we continue looking for ways to enhance the guest experience.

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway for a large friend group. Plenty of beds for everyone and community spaces made being together quite easy. Only complaints were with some of the appliances that made cooking more challenging, but in the grand scheme of things don't influence my rating of the property.

It was a good stay for me and friends. The bad experiences of had with this home was that I couldn’t get in contact with the home owner. Had to call Vrbo to get the pin to enter the house. The whole house had dog hair all over it. Found dry dog poop in the basement where the movie area is. Other than that is was good.

The house itself was as described. But the appearance was marred by large construction machines parked in the backyard. The owner/mgmt company did not let us know and photos didn't show it. What an eyesore! And the coffeemaker didn't work. Bring pots and kitchenware-we ended up buying the kitchen towels. The management company responded quickly until the booking/payment was made and then we didn't hear back. It would be a zero rating except the house itself was great!!

The home was beautiful to begin with. But There was a few hiccups, air hockey machine didn’t work, there was food left over in the oven, I wanted to make the host aware about railing and basketball court but During my stay the host wasn’t responsive. I also inquired about a late checkout and no response. Other than that the house was great, it was a great house to spend with family during Thanksgiving. I do recommend communicate everything with your host before your stay because she responds before but not during at least my experience. Overall I do recommend because we had an amazing time as a family.

Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re glad to hear that you found the home beautiful and enjoyable overall. Regarding scheduling, early check-in and late check-out are dependent on cleaning availability and upcoming reservations. In this case, we were unable to accommodate a late check-out due to scheduled cleaning and arriving guests, which we communicated at the time. We also confirmed that the railing you asked about was scheduled to be addressed .We understand how important amenities and overall cleanliness are to a stay. Any concerns regarding items such as the air hockey table or the oven were not brought to our attention during the visit, and we are always happy to address issues promptly when notified. We appreciate you recommending the property and value your comments as we continue to care for the home.

Had an issue with the Internet when we arrived. The maintenance people cut the cable coming into the house when they were cutting the grass. It was hard to work while I was there as I expected to have Internet access. Eventually it was fixed but it took a few days. Aside from this the house was pleasant and the kids loved the pool and basketball court.

The house was very nice, for the most part clean, minus dirty counters when we arrived. hair on the wall above the big tub upstairs and the cabinets were a little dirty (old rotting garlic bulb, wrappers and pieces of plastic in the lower cabinets. The kitchen is definitely not "full service". There was not even a pot to boil water for pasta, just a few frying pan/wok type pans, one of which had all the Teflon flaking off so we did not use it. There were only four coffee mugs for a house that sleeps almost 16 people. and no where near enough silverware. We had to go to the dollar store to buy plastic utensils, hot cups and baking tins since there were no baking trays/dishes.Air hockey table did not work which was a huge disappointment and the "gym" room left a lot to be desired, very old equipment we were afraid would break. No brooms to clean up after ourselves and no dishwasher tablets, we had to go to the dollar general for that as well. Movie room was a nice addition for the kids but unless you brought games yourself or toys to entertain the kids, not a whole lot for children to do. Maybe better in the summer when pool and basketball court is usable. Just okay visit, would not rent here again though.

We're glad you thought the house was very nice and that the movie room was fun for the kids. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following: - We have a max occupancy of 13 guests, and it appears that 16 people were brought to the property, which puts extra strain on the home and its amenities. - The home was clean before arrival, but after checkout, we did find burn marks on the countertops, a burnt and dirty oven, and standing water left inside. We do not store garlic in the cabinets, so it was likely left by a previous guest, though our cleaning team works to catch items like that. - The kitchen has basic cookware, including a pot for boiling water, and the pots and pans are new and should not have flaking surfaces. About 12 coffee mugs are available for guest use. Brooms and dishwasher tablets are normally stocked for guests. - The air hockey table was not working during your stay, and we plan to replace it. Thank you for letting us know about your visit.

I want to start by saying I understand that unexpected issues can happen that are out of our control. However, when someone is aware of a problem and does not inform their guests in advance, that is extremely upsetting.I planned a birthday getaway for two family members, and unfortunately, our experience upon arrival was very disappointing.1st, there was active construction taking place right next to the property, which was not mentioned anywhere in the listing.2nd, the house was freezing cold — it felt as cold as standing outside. Most importantly, there was no running water due to a broken boiler. While we were inside the home, the workers who were attempting to fix the boiler informed us of the situation. I overheard the conversation between the host and the workers, and it was clear the host had been aware of the issue for some time.We arrived a little after check-in time after driving two hours, only to be told, “I’m sorry, we’ll try to figure something out.” This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering this was meant to be a birthday celebration.I truly appreciate the assistance from Vrbo in helping us secure alternative accommodations. Vrbo ensured my family had somewhere to stay, and Best Western Monticello was able to accommodate us. While it wasn’t our original plan, we made the best of it.The house itself is large and spacious, and it would likely be a great property for big groups — but at the time of our arrival, it was not in livable condition.

We were not aware of the broken boiler until that morning when we arrived at the property. We don't know what happened to it, but we contacted maintenance immediately to see if it could be repaired before your arrival. We advised you that the boiler was going to be fixed, and we have the fireplace, but that we were going to contact Evolve and see if they could find alternative accommodations so that you would not be inconvenienced. We also do not allow parties at the property, and we were surprised you were expecting more people than what you had booked.

While the property (exterior) appearance matched the pictures of the property. There were a few questionable points that would be nice if they were communicated to us. 1- Bbq grill wasnt hooked up the propane 2- some drawers were fake (just a piece of wood cover). 3-a few pool loungers were broken. 4- some major construction in the backyard along with a backhoe crawler and a buldozzer in the backyard. 5- it took 6-8 minutes for hot water to turned on (we timed it) so you are standing in a shower in cold water waiting. Your waiting to wash your hands or clean a diah. 7-all of the single (not bunk beds) felt like they would break under you. Not very secure. 8- picture shoes an umbrella at the patio table... it was not there to be found and not set up.9- no instructions or heads up about the trash cans, recycling, bbq grill etc. 10- the hosts son showing up out of the blue to see that "everything is ok"...something that would be less awkward if they simply emailed or waited til they were contacted IF thats why they really popped up. 11- no pool skimmer could be found 12- no mirrors other than the bathrooms. 13-the ac in the livingroom btu is not enough to accomodate the livingroom space. 14-BEWARE the check IN amd check OUT times were changed on us by an hour from what VRBO and the Host claimed. The host check in time was an hour earlier than agreed with VRBO. This information was shared with me the week of my stay. No communication as to why. Despite reaching out to the host.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear parts of your stay did not meet your expectations. We appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. The home has two BBQ grills, including one that is connected and ready for guest use, and information about the home's amenities, trash, and checkout procedures is provided in the home. The pool toys are also available in the basement for guests to enjoy. We have also followed up on your comments regarding the hot water, furnishings, and outdoor area to ensure everything is in good working order. The home is situated on a spacious property, and while work was taking place in a distant area of the acreage, it is separate from the guest spaces. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue improving the guest experience.
