Affordable Family Vacation Get-A-Ways

OCEAN ISLE Condominium represents one of Ocean City's best vacation rentals. This unit sleeps four/five persons with comfort, and is located just a block and a half from the beach and boardwalk at 9th and 10th Streets.

This spectacular location affords very easy access to practically everything that Ocean City has to offer. Shopping, restaurants, movies, and of course the fabulous beach and boardwalk are all within easy walking distance.

PLEASE NOTE: We only provide linen for one (1) of the sleeper sofa's. You may bring additional linen for the second sofa in the condo unit.

This condo unit has air conditioning/heat for year round use, two televisions, two ceiling fans, provides off street parking, an elevator, a washer/dryer, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. There is a long rental history available at this unit.

Do not stay here. Host is not honest and will ghost you . Falsely advertised as 2 bedroom when it is actually only 1 bedroom. Bed sheets from the 1970s dirty with stains. Paid for 4 guests and only got 3 towels . Paid for extra linen and got 1 “linen sheet ” to be used on the pull out sofa which was actually only a futon! Was Given excuse from host that it a holiday and lots of traffic and linen will arrive the next day, TV did not work. Exposed electric cord under the “sofa” and fridge froze our food in the short time that it was in there. Terrible experience, the host mis represented his unit and scammed us. Do not waste your time or money. We had to leave that same night and could not stay in the place since there was not enough room for 4 people to sleep . Our first and last time to use VRBO.

Small but great!

This property was a little better than we expected. We wanted a small trip for two days and it was perfect for us. One bedroom, which is where the kids slept, and we slept in the living room! (Air mattress and couch. Owner was also very responsive.

Unit was very clean and had everything we needed

The host was very easy to get in touch with and unit was very clean and close to beach/boardwalk.Only thing missing was a pool but that was my mistake not checking first.I definitely would recommend and stay again at this property

Decent

The place was in a good quiet location close to what I wanted to be close too. But the inside could use some TLC. He did provide soap and towels for the bathroom and although the heater was LOUD it heated the place up fast. Would stay again if it was fixed up a little nicer but for the price. Would deff do again

False advertising. The place was small and falling apart. On a good day it could uncomfortably sleep two small children. If this place was located in a big city, it would be the no- tell motel, the crack den of the "bad part of town" We spent valuable beach time and money running to Walmart to buy blankets and inflatable beds as well as all the supplies we were told were "included" in our stay. The "futon" was old, hard and twin size. Our two 10 year olds tried but did not fit. They did spend considerable time fighting over who would get to sleep on the floor and then decided that they both would. This posed a problem as the entire place had just one blanket. That's right, just one. There were however, broken outlets with exposed wiring. The extension cord that sits on the counter and runs from the back of the fridge is there to plug in the coffee maker, were it not broken. The ceiling fan plugs into the wall and the AC units stick out onto the balcony walkway. On our last day, the elevator had a distinct smell of vomit. The 1960's called and it wants it's motel back. Wouldn't stay here again even if it was free.

Basic rental for 2 people max

The condo was OK, but here are some specifics: kitchen was nicer than other 1 bed condos I’ve stayed in—full size fridge is a plus. Full size bed was very uncomfortable especially for the one night my husband stayed with me. The seating in the living room was a futon that was falling apart and uncomfortable. Lots of unnecessary tables in the living area (could have used more actual seating). The bathroom was fine. Location and complex was good. It was great to have an outside shower to rinse after the beach.

My daughter and her boyfriend, who was home from the Marines, stayed here for a few days and absolutely LOVED it! She said the staff was so genuinely kind and the place was perfect.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a vacation rental property. The property is old, dirty, and cheap - and the owner was combative before quickly becoming completely unresponsive. The condo is not the one pictured (the exterior and living room were the same, but the bedroom and bathroom in the unit we stayed in were different than the photos). When we arrived, there was a used medical mask hanging on the coat hanger and no sheets on the bed (when we reached out, the owner told us we were responsible for that). Upon arriving back in the condo later the night of check in, we found the bath towels not washed, a french fry on the bathroom floor, and several building code violations that make the unit unsafe. When we reached out to the owner about our options via text the night of check-in - expecting him to offer to have someone come out and deliver new towels, clean the unit, etc. - we were told "If you are not happy vacate unit. It is your choice!" When I called him about these issues, he hung up on me and we were not able to get in touch with him after that point. We ended up leaving the unit and paying for a very expensive hotel room since the rest of Ocean City was already fully booked. Since this rental was actually through VRBO (even though it was booked on Expedia and we did not know payment would be through VRBO) neither offered support. Expedia chat constantly says agents aren't available, and I have yet to reach someone on the phone due to wait times.

Nice, but not very clean

The apartment was nice, close to everything, had the main necessities, but honestly it was dirty. Bathroom had hair and shampoo stuck to walls, mirrors were dirty, sink faucet had toothpaste splattered all over it, stove had not even been wiped down, microwave was very dirty. Very stingy comforter on the bed which we would never use… but still! Could use some updates like paint, newer carpet and a fridge that doesn’t make noise all night. Other than that it was ok!

Location Over Good Night's Sleep

It was cute condo that was cozy and just right for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect! We parked the car and walked everywhere. Our only complaint is the bed was so uncomfortable and the futon was not much better. We could feel every spring in the mattress and box spring. Also, we never could get the wifi to work. For a weekend, it was fine, but we would have said something if we were there for a week. Other than not sleeping, it was a wonderful weekend and a nice place to stay. It was clean and that is super important.

Great location

Stayed here solo when I joined my extended family last minute on a jersey shore vacation. Perfect location, size & price! Walked to the boardwalk every morning and lots of coffee shops, cafes within walking distance. Having a designated parking spot is key!
