10th year staying at Emerald Waters condos

Love the area close to Alvin’s (across the street) walk to Bad A** Coffee shop & right across the street from the beach! Cleaning crew did much better this year. Pool is nice ( did need codes on bathrooms to access (was not sent). Had a stopped up sink in bathroom & was fixed immediately.

Absolutely beautiful

My family and i had a marvelous time. The home was clean and well stocked. We had a small view of the ocean and the walk was not far. Location was good too

Beautiful Place

The condo was beautiful, just like in the photos! It's just steps away from the beach and Alvin's Island Surf Shop! Love the location! Convenient to shopping and dining! Would stay here again!

Beautiful home away from home!

The location was gorgeous, very clean and stay-ready! Very close to the beach, just 5 minutes walking! Our host was great and very attentive to detail. Can’t wait to come back next year!!

Enjoyed stay

No hangers in condo ( had to buy) believe condo needs to be sprayed for bugs. Called to report broken chair at dining room table & lock on the twin bed bathroom not locking. Overall enjoyed stay

Great location, but need a new cleaning crew!

Complex was nice, pool very clean, condo wasn't very clean.....floors in bunk room bathroom was dirty as well as the hallway and living room floors.

Overall great stay!

We stayed for about a week, and we were able to check in early, just called the property manager and asked if the condo was ready... when we arrived overall the home was clean but with further inspection there were toiletries in the shower, some food under the sofa and the carpets weren’t very clean. We didn’t let this bother us, we just expected more for what we paid. it truly is a beautiful place to stay, close access to the private beach, stores and restaurants... overall would recommend!!

AMAZING MIRAMAR CONDO

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about this condo! It is beautiful, we could smell how clean it was when we walked in. The pool is perfect, beach couldn't be closer unless you are right on the beach. There's a surf shop next door and a gas station within a block to walk to. We all loved the decor too! Kids room was fantastic also with xbox and bean bag chairs. Every room had it's own bathroom.

Frangista Beach Family Vacation

I would have gave this place 5 stars had the accuracy of having a sleeper sofa been correct, the patio furniture been in better shape, and more than 2 beach chairs for a place that accommodates up to 12 people. Please be aware there is no sofa bed/sleeper sofa in living room even though it states as such in 3 different places. Beautiful area, close to lots of things to do, and a couple restaurants within walking distance or within 2 miles of the condo. Great condo complex, smaller with 4 levels and an elevator. The swimming pool and hot tub were clean and nice, perfect size and enough loungers and chairs to accommodate guests. Beach access directly across the street. Perfect family vacation for the B's and C's!

Pretty happy Overall

The worst thing for our stay was the deck door handle was broken off and using the deck for relaxing was a pain ! It took 2 adults to pry it open and close and the maintenance man never came to repair 😰

Bad beds, great everything else!

This place accommodated all our needs. The home was clean and decorated very nice. Kitchen was completely furnished with everything you need to cook with. It even has a coffee machine (filters needed) and a keurig machine! The kids room had an Xbox which Entertained us while it rained. There was a closet full of beach items. We were very impressed with this home and made our visit really enjoyable. The only downside to our stay was the old mattresses. They were extremely uncomfortable and I could feel the coils. Besides that, this place was amazing! Great memories made in a beautiful home!

Nice property

Overall, the property was clean and listing was accurate as shown. The furniture and linens were very comfortable. We love the property, pool, location, and beach access (have stayed in multiple units in this condo over the last 7/8 years). Only issues were the sliding door were broken all week and it was difficult to open, especially for kids. There were also building wide, intermittent Wi-Fi issues all week. The fridge was also slow to cool, then over cooled and froze some milk. The property management company did respond but didn’t seem to think any of these issues were worthy of a call? Overall we would stay again, beautiful place.

Just what we needed

The only complaint I would have is that when we arrived, the floor didn’t seem to be swept or mopped aside from the overwhelming smell of pinesol, or the table wiped off. Light bulbs needed to be changed as many were burnt out and the battery in the AC unit died which made the AC quit working and the place got super hot. There were no extra batteries or light bulbs for changing them and I had to use our batteries from something we had to get the place cooled off. Other than that it was great and very accommodating and spacious for our family! The pool was always clean and beach access was just across the street! We will definitely be back to Destin and enjoyed our stay!

Sand Dollar Unit 309

Our overall experience was fantastic, the accommodations worked for our large family. We enjoyed the smaller capacity of the Sand Dollar in general, it made the pool much more enjoyable not being crowded and not having a need to fight for chairs poolside. Just across the street from beach access, however not much for a beach view which was misrepresented in the description. Large homes block the beach view from the patio, had we known this in advance we may have selected an alternate property as the beach view is something we really enjoy. Cleanliness of the unit was just okay, we had blankets that didn’t appear to have been washed. Extra pillows but no pillow cases. The dishes were lacking in the kitchen, we didn’t have enough forks to feed our family a meal, some had to use spoons though not ideal for that particular dish. No cookie sheets were provided. Only two burners on the stove were in working order which made cooking difficult for a large family. Overall the unit could use a few updates. Our key pad entry froze, thankfully we had older children still in the unit and were able to get in otherwise we may have been locked out for a period of time. Timeliness of someone coming to repair it was excellent, the key entry was not replaced but we were provided with keys to enter for the remainder of our trip. Overall we were satisfied, but would recommend making a few updates specifically in the kitchen.

Good Rental for Families

Overall this was a good choice for our stay. The grounds were pretty worn, but it was fine. Good location that was right across from the beach. Nice pool, very small hot tub. None of the gates actually need a code, or they were not in working order. It’s a nice area, so no issues on our end but could be important to some. Great balcony with ocean views which we enjoyed. Well equipped kitchen and stocked laundry and dishwasher pods were a nice touch.

Family vacation

Easy accessible location. Only issue is the steps to the private beach. Hard to get cooler and wagon down the steps with an infant.

Paradise!

Beautiful beach trip! Owner was so accommodating with all our needs! Highly recommend this rental for a great beach trip!!! Beds were super comfortable, great big comfy couch to relax at night. Fast walk to the beach!
