Quick Weekend at the Beach

Spent the weekend at the beach with family and at a friends wedding. The house was clean, well stocked, and met all our expectations. Great location!

Probably my favorite Port A Rental

The house is so cute! Exactly as pictured. Pillows were nice, beds were comfortable, everything worked, kitchen is well stocked, decor was cute, furniture was comfy. All 6 of us adult ladies were pleasantly surprised and hope to stay here again.

The cockroach problem was by far the worst part of our stay—and the worst infestation I have ever encountered. We found several dead roaches upon arrival and later encountered dozens of large live ones. One was even inside my significant other’s sundress when she put it on, resulting in an unplanned dance that was funny afterward—but definitely not the entertainment we booked. After finding a live roach crawling out of the dishwasher, we hand-washed every dish immediately before using it. Pest control came Saturday but accidentally left a pesticide can within reach of our young son, whom we later found playing with it.We also had only one comfortable night during our four-night stay. Despite being set continuously to 70F, the A/C reached 81F during the day and only cooled to about 74F by early morning. We reported it Friday night, followed up Saturday morning, and were promised maintenance ASAP. No one came until after our third request Sunday morning. It was finally repaired for our last night. We had requested another property Saturday morning but were told they were fully booked.The ice maker also overflowed lots of ice onto the kitchen floor, and the worn master-bedroom fan barely moved air (with poor A/C). Before returning home, we paid to wash our clothing at a laundromat and scheduled pest control at our home in case any roaches hitchhiked back. The proposed refund was inadequate considering the conditions, delayed response, added expenses, and discomfort.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay here! Having access to the garage space was great and the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. The property management was very responsive. The only downside is that the complex isn’t very golf cart friendly - there is no way to access the community on a golf cart without driving along 361, which isn’t allowed. Certainly not a deal breaker but it’s good to be aware of.

Great Condo

Overall this was a great condo. The best was the layout. We had a family of 7 and it worked perfectly. The best part is the 2 king bedrooms that are large with private bathrooms for each room and the 1/2 bath downstairs. We loved the use of the garage however there was a powerful odor of cat urine in there so using it for the design they had (table/chairs/hangout area) wasn't able to be used that way due to the smell but it was very nice having the garage to use for storing all our beach items and Jeep doors (we go topless with our Jeep when we come down). We also felt the kitchen layout worked well. It was large enough for several of us at once. There were plenty of utensils and small appliances. We also appreciated the soaps/trashbags/lotion/etc. they provided. We also received a credit for beach gear which we used and it was very handy not having to bring chairs for the beach. I mentioned to the company that the A/C in the smaller upstairs room wasn't working well but we purchased a fan and made the best of it. The other king room upstairs was comfortable so I believe something malfunctioned. The only downside to this property is the close proximity to the neighbor (who we had to call the police for due to loud music at midnight), not being able to take a golf cart from the property to the beach, and the small pool area. The pool area looked nice but it was full due to the number of units allowed to use the pool so you never really had room to use it. Overall great stay!

Great place to stay when visiting Port A

Everything was as advertised and had a great time. Only item that could be improved is the bed is a bit hard for our taste.

Pirate's Bay Adventure

The place was super cute and worked out perfect for our group! Plenty of room, the kitchen was fully equipped, and we enjoyed every bit of our stay! We also loved the "sonic" ice maker! The pool was right across the parking lot and kids enjoyed it every evening after the

Fantastic house and SO CLEAN!

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at the property! The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, and was spotless! We all very much enjoyed the ice maker - what a fantastic treat! Location is superb as it’s across from the pool and playground. Thanks so much!

Best beach house for two families with kids!

This property is beautiful. It’s updated, clean, and beautiful. All three bedrooms have their own bathroom. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and gadgets. We had had such a great time. We never felt on top of each other, kids had plenty of room to play. Check in was breeze.

We had a great time at this property!

This property was perfect for our two families. We loved having two master suites and a room for the kids. The only thing missing from the kitchen was an ice cream scoop! Everything else was there and in great shape. We would stay here again in the future!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is lovely. The best rental we've stayed at in Port Aransas! Very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The ice machine was one of our favorite features! The Pirate's Bay pool was perfect and nice to be close to it. It was the perfect layout for two families. We'll be back next year!

Great unit!

The unit was beautiful and clean! Great high ceilings! Plenty of space for the 7 of us (4 adults, 3 kiddos). Upstairs room was a little warmer because it was over the garage but otherwise it was great! We did not use the community pool much because it was PACKED and not socially distant for our comfort level, and the playground was “closed” although some other patrons used it anyway. Close enough to the beach and local restaurants for a good weekend experience! Thank you!
