We were disappointed to find that our ‘retreat’ had the owners staying in a caravan right up next the side of the house the bedrooms were on. Apparently they were working on the property. While I understand the necessity of these things, it did diminish the feeling of a secluded property, the whole reason why we stayed there. Originally we were going to stay at the caravans park in Snug but chose this property for its location and no close neighbours. I think we should have been notified of the situation and offered either a cancellation or a reduced rate for the inconvenience. However I will give credit where it is due and state that they were very quiet and respectful in keeping their distance, and were very helpful when a few issues arose with the power, internet and washing machine. A big consideration would be a fly screen on the sliding door as there were times we wanted to leave it open but couldn’t due to the blowies! And please find where all those blowies were coming in, one day we came back to over 20 around the sliding door area.Besides that we loved the location, the view was amazing, most items needed were available. If you love serenity and sitting in a hot tub enjoying an amazing view then this is the place for you.
