Stay in a recently renovated studio apartment with a lake view in the charming town of Grand Lake. This apartment has a amazing lake view in the charming town of Grand Lake. The large shared deck overlooks the lake and public beach in the heart of downtown.

Excellent walkability to all the great restaurants and shops. The apartment has a full kitchen and full bath.

Walk directly from the deck down to the public park and beach. Hike, bike, boat, paddle, swim, fish, snowmobile, snowshoe and enjoy nature in the little town on the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Trailheads for popular hikes are minutes from the apartment. We are across the street from popular restaurants and right on the wooden boardwalk in downtown Grand Lake. Off-street parking is available to one vehicle per apartment, free public parking is available all along Grand Avenue and in several town maintained public parking lots. The public beach has a launch for non-powered boats next to the fishing pier, bring your canoe, kayak or paddle boards.

Grand Lake is a charming little town with a lot of history. The Kauffman House Museum is open most weekends, there are shops, galleries, and restaurants all along the wooden boardwalks. The town is surrounded by national forest and Rocky Mountain National Park. Take a drive over Trail Ridge Road to Estes Park or check out the lively town of Winter Park. Summer is the busiest season with mostly sunny weather, if you prefer a slower pace come visit us in the fall when the aspen turn red and gold and the weather is cool. Winter offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling very nearby and alpine skiing is just 20 minutes away in Granby. The town allows snowmobiles on the public streets, which connect to trails in the National Forest. Visit Hot Sulphur Springs to soak in the naturally hot spring water, one of the pools was used by the native peoples prior to arrival of pioneers.

Grand Lake is the largest natural lake in Colorado and host to two marinas. Shadow Mountain Lake connects via the channel and hosts a 3rd marina. Travel between the two lakes is permitted. Numerous creeks and rivers are accessible from public land for fly fishing. Rent a power boat from one of the marinas or rent a paddle board or kayak if you prefer a human powered ride. ATV use is permitted within town limits with a safety flag.

What an amazing spot

What a wonderful studio apartment right across from the lake. We woke up to the most beautiful views every morning. walking distance of everything you need including wonderful restaurants and fun shops. Will stay there again.

A great 2nd visit

The location of this place is very nice for us. It is in town and has a large deck that overlooks Grand Lake. Other than using the car to go to trails for hikes we can just hang out on the deck and enjoy the view. Our time in Grand Lake is to decompress and forget about work. This place works well for that.

Great location downtown Grand Lake!

Great Location downtown Grand Lake! Didn’t even need the car to get around. Plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance all just across the street from the lake!

Best location in Grand Lake

Fabulous location walking distance to marina, shops, restaurants. Loved being greeted by the resident chipmunks running around the parking area!

This apartment is in the perfect location and has everything you need to feel comfortable. We loved hanging out on the patio and having our own private little spot in the grand view action!

Great location

We wanted a place to watch fireworks on July 4th and not have to drive and this fit the bill! Walk to town and enjoy the shops and restaurants! Studio was roomy, clean and comfortable! Would highly recommend!

View of Grand Lake

Very clean and centrally located. We walked everywhere! There’s also a balcony (shared space) overlooking the lake. Keep in mind that it’s a small place (efficiency), so there’s limited seating. There’s also no AC, which isn’t a big problem, but it can get a little stuffy inside.

Super Vacation!

Great views of Grand Lake from deck! Easy access to restaurants, shopping, ice cream, fishing, etc....easy to walk to all. Owners of the apartments are great to work with and will attend to your requests for more towels, empty trash, etc. Very relaxing place to vacation and something to do for everyone. Also, good hiking trails close by.

Great spot for kayak launching

Grand Lake is a slice of heaven and having access to its glassy waters at sunrise is a religious experience. This studio apartment is small but adequate for a couple. This place and the 1 bedroom apartment across the hall from us each have a great view of the lake and the beach area. The kitchen has a nice granite countertop and has everything you need if you want to make a meal. The building is in a perfect location for shopping or dining- just steps away. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent lake front location

The location of this studio apartment is absolutely perfect! We could sit on the large shared deck and enjoy the view of the lake with a cup of coffee or walk across the park to the lake in one minute. There is a lovely park between the apartment and the lake where you can rest on one of the many benches and enjoy the peace of the lake water and beautiful mountains beyond. Our timing at the beginning of May allowed for a variety of weather, from snowy days to beautiful sunshine. The apartment itself was just right for the two of us and our pup. We cooked on the grill on the deck and in the well stocked kitchen. It had all the pans, bowls, and utensils you could possibly need for the week we spent there. The owner was very quick to respond and communication was excellent. The apartment was clean and well cared for. I would highly recommend this location for a single or couple looking to enjoy the peace of Grand Lake. We spent the week walking the boardwalk in town and hiking around the area. It was very relaxing and just what we needed to escape life for a while. Because of the reviews I read before we went, I took a small dustpan and brush but due to the location by the beach, a broom would be beneficial. We used the vacuum several times to keep up with the sand and dog fur. We definitely plan to come back in the future.

Wonderful location, with convenient access to the lake and many restaurants, bars, etc. My wife and I were able to go cross country skiing on frozen Grand Lake, which is just a few hundred feet away. Rental is very clean and modern throughout. The owner, Erick, is very kind and a good communicator. We had a great time and hope to return again soon!

Beautiful Grand Lake

This was a wonderful experience. The unit is lovely and the view is to die for. We could walk to shopping and restaurants. The beach is so pretty. Our dog had fun, including running off. Luckily, we caught her at the marina with help from other dog owners. My 2 suggestions would be, let people know the unit is on the second floor. Some folks may not be able to handle the stairs, and put a night light in the bathroom and a swivel on the tv. By the way, we loved your shop, Erick.

Beautiful location, perfect cozy condo

Our first time at Grand Lake, which was amazingly beautiful and a welcome relief from the 90+ degree heat in Denver. The condo looks out over the lake, with nice views from the windows and a great deck (with tables/umbrellas and grills) to sit out on and enjoy the setting. Small place similar to a hotel room, but fully functional kitchen and everything we could need. Loved the place and Erik was very helpful and nice.
