We loved this cottage! Close to the beach and offered beach chairs, bikes, beach wagon etc for use! Very friendly and quick to respond hosts. Definitely recommend and can't wait to book again!

This place was absolutely beautiful, we stayed there with our kids & there 4 children. Sue & Chris were very easy to reach with our questions. The ease of checking in & out was very well communicated , The place had many different places to spend quality time with our family , about 10 min walk to beach , It was beautiful, not crowded,.

Gorgeous cottage, much bigger than expected that could comfortably fit a large family. Kitchen was well stocked with basics, and the home was clean, well decorated and comfortably cooled. The outside of the property was well maintained and beautiful, perfect for morning coffee or late night fireplace marshmallows. The beach was perfect and close, easily accessable with gorgeous sunsets. We had an amazing time, and would definitely visit again!

Large cottage on beautiful grounds with a 10 minute walk to private beach. This is a traditional cottage with four large bedrooms and very comfortable beds and bedding. Enough space, tv’s and games to keep all ages happy especially if weather doesn’t cooperate!! It’s great to be a short drive away from the conveniences of grocery stores and the main drag. Even nicer to get back to the quiet solitude of Southcott. We visited Shale Ridge winery which is a 20 minute drive and has lovely grounds, wine and cider tasting and great food. It’s hard to beat this location for a multifamily vacation especially the spectacular sunsets.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed this property. Great location in Grand Bend with everything a short drive away. Very clean property, as described. Great access to private beach with parking - much less crowded than the main beach at Grand Bend. Great community in Southcott Pines - great walks with the dogs, friendly people etc.Wifi was a little spotty/slow at times and property is a little buggy in summer with the trees close to the house. But would very highly recommend - Sue and Chris are very responsive and we had a wonderful stay.

Wanted to let you know that the next renters discovered that there was more than just a Netflix issue that you reported during your stay so the modem has since been replaced and wifi issues resolved. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We are also in the thick of nature so trees and bugs are things that typically come with the territory. Would love to host you again. If you’d like to come earlier in the year at another time, the trees aren’t as full and less bugs. Contact us for more information. Take care!

Great place to stay with friends and/or family. Really well set up for whatever you are looking for. Quiet neighbourhood - was a great escape from the city but felt very comfortable. Easy to get to town or chill out at the private beach. Really felt like you were part of the community. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was very nice, clean, and well maintained. The sandy beach was within walking distance, which made it easy to enjoy the water every day. The cottage is also conveniently located close to town and grocery stores, making it easy to pick up anything we needed. Also the communication with Sue and Chris was excellent. They answered every question within minutes. We would definitely recommend this cottage to our friends and would be happy to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Chris and Sue’s property. The house was clean and suited our needs. The layout worked out well since we had teens with us and they enjoyed their own space in the lower level. The house had bathrooms on each level and bedrooms on each level as well. Beds and linens were comfy. They provided us with a great welcome basket and had all the information we needed about the house and the area. Chris and Sue were easy to contact when we needed them. The area was very tranquil with all the trees surrounding and was great for going for walks. The private beach was super close and was nice not to have all the crowds. The house was about 5 min drive from the main strip and close to all grocery stores. I would recommend staying at their Woodpark property if you are looking for a getaway that is tucked in nature but close to entertainment.

Wow, this vacation home exceeded our expectations. Ideal location, feels like you are secluded in the woods, with everything available, huge fire pit sitting area, lots of big trees and wildlife. Beautiful white sandy beach is just a short walk away, wagon provided was ideal for pulling the toddlers that visited.The home itself is outstanding in every way, everything is provided to make your vacation easy and relaxing, there is nothing I would change.
