Please do not instant book. We are closed through July 31st for repairs and renovations. The Cut Away in Conyers is a beautiful 9-acre estate nestled in the unincorporated Conyers, Georgia, Rockdale County. The full home, upstairs and downstairs, is available for events and parties. This beautiful, secluded property has 9 acres of heavily wooded walking trails, which lead to a stream fed by The Yellow River directly across the street. The property has a swimming pool that is available from May 1st to October 1st, with multiple lounging areas that surround the pool. The pool is available before May 1st, but the pool will not be heated. For some people this is okay if the weather is pleasant.
Smoking is allowed outside only. There is also a propane grill with a complimentary propane tank for guest use with ample guest parking. The Cut Away is 15 minutes from the International Horse Park, 25 minutes from dowtown Atlanta and 35 minutes from the Atlanta airport.

The building has two levels: upper and lower. The lower level is for guests. The listing is only for the 1900 foot lower level only. The lower level has its own two separate entrances in the rear of the property and its own parking. For those guests who want to use both levels, please contact the owner before booking. There is an additional charge to use the additional space upstairs. Either way, your privacy will not be disturbed.

Celebrated a birthday with family and friends and we really enjoyed our stay!

Our host was very accommodating and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. The house has a very nice cozy cabin feel that we enjoyed. We loved the pool and the patio area. Will definitely recommend your stay here, Kenya was awesome

Wonderful large lot & cozy home.. Great Stay!

This property has space for days lots of yard to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. I was searching and searching for a property to host a gender reveal party accommodating 30-35 guest to no avail. I was blessed to finally find this place to allow such a gathering AND set off fireworks as well as a tent and chairs with a VERY large inflatable that would not cost me an arm and a leg. I must say hands down this property was PERFECT! We did have a little issue with the address which caused our inflatable to not be delivered so just definitely make sure beforehand you have the proper address. Kenya the host was able to answer many of my hundreds of questions (since I was unsure of the area) before booking which eased my mind. This was my very first stay sharing living quarters with the host and I was kind of on the fence about but I was pleasantly surprised. Kenya was around her property throughout the duration of our stay which normally can be off-putting and seem like you wouldn't have privacy if you're a guest (at least for my personal opinion) but she was so kind and sweet that we actually enjoyed and preferred the fact she was around to answer more questions we had after arrival. I can GENUINELY & WHOLE HEARTEDLY say her utmost goal was making sure my family and I were comfortable and most importantly had an amazing time so her presence was a blessing. The actual space is the lower level of the home but it is revamped into its own separate cozy living quarters. There are a few choices for beds some are firmer while a couple were softer which I enjoyed since I enjoy a firmer mattress my other guest enjoy the softer mattresses. The pool was very nice and clean, the kids enjoyed the warmth. There is a Publix literally 5 minutes away which is very convenient. It is very quiet and tucked away which was marvelous. We also were not rushed out and stayed a little past our check out time which I appreciated so much as we had a lot to pack back up. Kenya was very adamant and reassuring that it was not an issue and allowed us to take our time leaving even though out of respect for her and her property I was trying to hustle and wrangle up all the children which took longer than expected. I would highly recommend this property especially for the price. It was a steal. We will most definitely return the next time we visit Georgia no doubt. We really had an amazing time honoring my sister and her new daughter thanks to Kenya and her wonderful property!

Nice property and amenities

Kenya is a great and attentive host. When we found the property thru a Facebook ad its listed as a "private vacation home" I later found that its a basement apartment with 4 bedrooms, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living and laundry rooms. Which was still suitable for our family of 5. We did have complete use of the pool, patio, walking trail, and yard. The host only came out to care for pool or other needs requested by us, including the snake!! Our only issue with the property was the cleanliness upon arrival. It was pretty obvious that either the unit had been locked up out of use for some time or deep cleaning was forgotten! I found hair and cobb webs in the back shower. The front bedroom room smelled of pet urine and we found the stains to match on the underside of the carpet in that room. The bedding in the rooms smelled old and dingy as if it was stored and not properly washed. The owner came down but for some reason only we could smell these odors, she couldn't. She did clean the back bathroom and take the bedding to be washed but she returned it still damp so we dried it ourselves. As I swept the home to prep for our event, which I had to push back 2.5 hours so I could clean the unit properly, I found piles of dust, trash, and dead bugs, again symbolizing that the unit had not been used in some time. Overall we had a blast, the host did her best and I have requested an adjustment on cleaning fees considering we left it in much better shape than we found it and since we had to clean it for ourselves I believe it is only fair. The home owner has failed to respond as of the time of this review.

Nice little get away

Cute little cabin like feel on the inside. Kenya was a very nice hostess. She also lives on the premises so she was easily accessible. I had a party last minute & she was also very accommodating. We had a mishap at the party but thankfully I paid for the accident protection which covered the damage. My only wish was for the beds to be a bit more sturdy. If I come to GA again I definitely wouldn’t mind staying there again. Thanks again Kenya !!

This is the only property that allows you to see a woodpecker, wren, owl, bluejay, hawk, owl and goose in the same 8 hour period while relaxing in a stylish home with comprehensive amenities and thoughtful touches. It is close to several lakes for nearby fishing and plenty of parks for hiking and camping.

The Cut Away provides partial seclusion that allows you to meditate, relax with friends, swim in privacy and slow down. The open space allows you to hike, play outdoor games or listen to good music at a slightly elevated volume. It represents the best of privacy and access to amenities such as grocery stores and good local restaurants nearby.
