Premier 1 Bedroom Villa. - POOL ACCESS! 1 minute walk to the Beach!

Kiawah Island is one of the most upscale vacation destinations in the country (per Conde Nast). Our villa is an upgraded one bedroom unit (in a private, gated island community) that complies with the requirements of being considered a premier tier rental, comparing with The Sanctuary Hotel standards. We have spent a lot of time ensuring our guests have all the luxuries of home.

While the unit is not beachfront (about a 75 second walk to the beach), there is nothing separating the villa other than vegetation and sand dunes from the beach.

The Master Bedroom has a King size bed and a new flat screen HD TV. There is a new pull out sofa with a queen mattress in the living room and a new flat screen HD TV.

The villa is a part of the Kiawah Island Resort program which means you will be treated as a guest of the resort, giving you access to the Night Heron Pool and playground (which is across the street) as well as the Tennis Club Pool. Your reservation also gives you preferred access for reservations to the resort restaurants including The Ocean Room and Jasmine Porch located in The Sanctuary Hotel as well as the Spa at The Sanctuary. You also have access to shuttle service around the resort.

After a day at the beach, golf course, tennis court, pool, walking paths, bike, our villa is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The Night Heron Park (pool), the Nest, East Beach Tennis Club, and Sanctuary Hotel, are all within walking/biking distance. The villa is centrally located to all the golf courses.

Smoking is not permitted in the villa or on the screened porch and NO grills permitted in the villa complex due to wood construction.

Pets are also not permitted.

The bed and couch were comfy. The oven worked just fine for reheating. I loved how close it was to beach access. There was some confusion regarding check in but that may have been a technical error. I also couldn’t get the omit to stay up in the tub.

Excellent Location

The villa was convenient to the beach and Night Heron Park and well suited our needs. The complaint is that the bathroom was dated, needed painting and general maintenance and the tub was old and needed replacing.

Perfect for us

We stayed 2 nights for a wedding on the island. Villa was perfect for our needs. It's a little dated but couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. Steps from beach, pool and The Nest. Very quiet and peaceful.

Very easy access to the beach

This property is well maintained and it's in a great location very near the beach. The owner was very easy to communicate with and his responses to questions were very timely and accurate. It was a great place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurants also went out of their way to help us celebrate.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation!

We started a tradition back in 2018 to come to Charleston for our family vacation. We usually stay in a regular hotel, but this time I started looking around at the Vrbos and found this little gem! It was perfect for us!!!

Great place for a couple to stay.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fabulous villa. It is beautifully renovated and just a few steps to the beach. We were attending a family wedding, and it was convenient to all venues. We will definitely reserve this villa again for our week vacation at Kiawah. We couldn't have asked for better hosts who communicated very well with us.

Clean, Efficient Condo in Excellent Location

This is our second time staying in this property. We highly recommend it. The unit is probably best for a couple or a family with small children. Very short walk to the beach, and Night Heron Park is just a quick bike ride away. Kiawah Resort amenities are included, which is a significant benefit of staying here.

Lovely Property!

This was a quick trip to Kiawah Island as we have friends who've been and raved about it. The property was very clean and very nice and so close to the beach! But we were very disappointed that there weren't any beach chairs, towels or beach blanket available. I understand that you can rent chairs, but that isn't our preference.

Great location,but not comfortable

When we walked in,it smelled horrible. The bedroom king size bed didn’t have a fitted sheet! There was a sheet on it horizontally to cover the mattress and it didn’t even fit the whole bed! Our feet touched the bare mattress. The sheets were absolutely horrible and there were hairs on them,ew. A dead cockroach was on the floor as well. Also,the bedroom window handle is messed up. The bathroom sink has a crack in it. There are two shower heads,only one works. And,be prepared to have your ankles covered while showering because the shower doesn’t drain. The water heater closet door in the hallway doesn’t close. The living room couch is horrible and feels broken. Definitely will not return back to this specific villa. We even left a night early because it was so uncomfortable.

Fun but worn

Manger was easy to communicate with. Check in was terrible. Key didn’t work. Waited and no one came . Drove back to check in to get another key . Place was nice . Not updated like the others in the area. No sheets for the couch. Didn’t have a fitted sheet on the mattress in the bedroom.

Ivy's place was spotless and comfortable. In town for the half-marathon, could not have picked a better place. Will definitely book again next year!

Small and a little unclean

The pictures for the villa are very deceiving. It's smaller than it appeared. Also, was not very impressed with the cleanliness. The check in process was very confusing and directions for how to check in were very unclear. Some of the dishes were not clean and a dead bug was found underneath the sheets. We did enjoy being near the beach and how quiet and nice the community was. Also, appreciated the small local shopping center about 10 minutes away. Would definitely go back to Kiawah Island but would consider a different location.

We love this property for the location - it's so close to the beach! You can hear the ocean from the screened in porch. Night Heron Park is across the street and has wonderful pools. They offer food and beverage service too!

If you've never been to Kiawah, you have to visit. It's unlike any other beach or resort in South Carolina. It's very low key and not at all crowded!
