Secluded Hill Country get-away cabin on private ranch, central to LBJ State & National Parks, more than 20 Wineries, Distilleries & Breweries within 10 minutes. This cozy two room cabin features a private bathroom with Texas Sized antique bathtub / shower. Kitchenette complete with microwave, refrigerator, flatware, stemware, K-Cup brewer with an assortment of coffees teas and cocoa.
East facing front porch makes for spectacular sunrise settings. Our guest treasure the tranquility of the country.

This place has all the rural hill country, rustic charm! You'll love sipping your morning coffee on the with the best front porch view of the hill side. It's truly pet friendly. Easy check-in and check-out with a friendly host!

This property was everything we wanted and more. The space was well appointed, clean, and everything you needed was provided if you forgot anything important. Specatcular views and the stars were incredible.

The cabin was GREAT. Very clean and very well-appointed with little extras. Super quiet, rural area with fantastic stargazing and wildlife. We'll be back!

What a little gem! The view is obviously great- but the bathtub does not get enough credit- it's huge! The rain came in and was a nice treat- rain on a tin roof at the top of a hill with a view is a rare treat.

Amazing View

The tiny cabin looks pretty bad from the outside as you approach it, but what a sweet surprise as you enter! We were very comfortable and happy with the accommodations! The host thought of most everything we could need while there 2 nights, including bacon and eggs, juice and soft drinks in the mini fridge. The vintage tub is enormous and bubble bath was such a treat! We loved being away from civilization and enjoying the views and walking our dog and watching the sunrise and many birds flying around and tweeting. Location is remote but only a short drive to local wineries and the Albert dancehall.

Just as good the second time

Great place to to relax and get away. Close enough to the places in the area that make this area the place it is but far enough away from the crowds those places bring. spent a lot of time on the porch listening to music and enjoying the view

Perfect stay !

I cant say enough about our stay. The little shack is just perfect and cozy. We loved going exploring in the city and coming back to the country with peace and quiet. Loved the extra little things at the shack, like the outdoor welcome sign with our names on it and the stocked fridge just to name a few. Instructions and check in was a breeze . The only negative was that we had to leave, lol.

Perfect getaway close to the wineries!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin, romantic, private, everything you need it’s there, it’s tucked away where you can enjoy the solitude, relax & recharge, but also conveniently located near top rated wineries, the evening sunset was very pretty, we have marked this place as a favorite and we will for sure be back soon! Amazingly Perfect Getaway

As soon as we drove on the property we knew we selected the best fit! This cozy cabin was perfect for my husband and myself and our two dogs. From the welcome sign to the sodas, water, bacon and eggs in the mini fridge, everything was perfect. The host definitely thought of the "little stuff" that would make our stay perfect. We enjoyed day tripping to the area wineries and small towns and nights on the porch looking at the stars. We are excited to have found "our place" every time we want to come to the hill country. Such an added bonus when the host is friendly, quick and easy to communicate with and gives recommendations to area places. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Thank you and The Robel's will be back!

Awesome birthday getaway

We stayed at the cabin for my wife’s 50th birthday. The secluded cabin close to some great wineries made her birthday an unforgettable experience. James was a great host with great communication. We WILL be back!

Cozy Cabin

We stayed here for New Year’s Eve and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The peaceful, secluded location allowed us to enjoy breathtaking starry skies. The cabin was cozy and well-stocked, with everything we needed to feel right at home. Waking up to sunrise views from the porch was unforgettable. This spot is perfect for a serene getaway and close to wineries and parks for daytime adventures. Highly recommend!

Exquisitely Peaceful

Nourishingly beautiful, peaceful, restful. Loved hearing bird calls, wind sounds across the grasses and trees, a cow lowing, a rooster in the far distance. Sweet smelling, fresh air. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises viewed from the large deck with fire pit, and from the large picture window inside, cozy and warm. Perfect.

Quaint, Cozy Cabin

Cabin was as described and comments I read were spot on. Cute, quaint, and cozy. Perfect for 1 or a close couple. Enjoyed reading on the porch and when it rained I moved inside to the rocker by the corner windows looking out across the valley. More amenities than listed, such as the toaster and just about any toiletry (male or female) you could possibly need in the toiletry cabinet. Comfortable bed. Note: I believe the microwave is smaller than the typical household microwave, but big enough for a normal size dinner plate. Convenient to multiple state parks and Fredericksburg. Communication with the property manager was always quick and descriptive. I really appreciated that.

Peaceful quiet country stay

This is not the Ritz, it's better. If you enjoy wildlife, country setting, star gazing, and a deep huge bathtub, this place is for you. If you want the hustle and bustle of the town, then this not for you. Small, cute and quaint place. They leave little amenities for their guest, wgich is awesome.

Lovely private retreat

This place was private, quaint, just as advertised. Very welcoming with cute personal touches! Apple Maps led me straight to it, although the directions sent by the owner were spot on. The nearby town is adorable, lots of local shops and wineries. Gorgeous views from the large porch, amazing sunsets and clear star filled night skies, perfect porch for sipping coffee act watching the sunrises. Was never without a cooling breeze! Hummingbirds, lizards, deer, fox and owls all seen on just a 2 night stay. Easy drive to LBJ State Park and Fredericksburg. Lovely small town country vibe and my dogs adored the property. No wi-fi so you have the ability to truly disconnect; although my Verizon signal worked completely the entire stay. Affordable way (even over a holiday weekend) to enjoy a little piece of the Texas Hill County!

Most Relaxing Front Porch & Beautiful Views

The Amazing View was Prefect, small but fit just what my husband and my request .. Very clean, any and everything you needed from bathroom to kitchen needs.... We would surely stay again!
