All decked out inside and out - a beautiful family home

View beautiful sunsets on a private sandy beach from this three-level vacation home on beautiful Crystal Lake located between the quaint northern towns of Beulah and Frankfort. Newly decorated, featuring an open concept family room and game room with an additional kitchenette. Play all day and relax at night in one of the 5 bedrooms (11people) with new beds and 3 full bathrooms.

The kitchen (newly remodeled 2023) is well appointed with everything you need to cook family meals. The lower deck is equipped with a Weber gas grill. A washer and dryer are available on the main level, and the house is well supplied with bedding, towels, and beach towels. Each deck has outdoor furniture to enjoy the great views of the glistening water of Crystal Lake.

The beach and amenities--a private sandy beach is equipped with high quality Adirondack chairs, a natural fire pit with firewood on site, a dock, stand up paddle boards , kayaks and a paddleboat are available for you to enjoy.

A variety of cuisine and fun shopping is available nearby. Day experiences could include Sleeping Bear Dunes, Betsie River rafting, the Betsie Valley Trail, Pyramid Point, scenic golf courses, micro breweries and wine tours. Kids and adults alike can enjoy the historic Cherry Bowl drive in theater that is less than a 10 minute drive. In the winter, have fun skiing at nearby Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling on groomed trails ,or ice fishing on the lake!

Wonderful week spent with our multigenerational family. House was exactly as advertised and in a beautiful location. Amenities were robust including water sport toys (e.g. canoes and Lilly pad). Outdoor fire pit was great with ample seating. Definitely looking forward to coming back again.

Great Family Vacation

Our multi- generation family had a great stay. The home was well equipped to cook, to go to the beach and even had some kids toys for a rainy day. The manager was helpful in every way.

Extended family trip

Overall we enjoyed the property and the beach are. A few things could have made it better. The lower level bathtub that appears elevated on a platform needs to have grab bars installed. The clothes dryer does not function properly, even after running the clothes through a second spin cycle. Our group had looked forward to using the grill, but finding it next to the trash cans and looking quite dirty and covered with leaves and bugs we changed our minds. It definitely didn’t look ready for the first renter. S’mores at the fire pit were great. With all that being said, the house is beautiful and we made some great memories with three young children who will not forget the week.

Wonderful visit in August 2023

This property is everything it is advertised to be. Spacious, beautiful main living area which was well stocked with the basics - cooking equipment suitable for all meals, including birthday cupcakes, spices and condiments, dishes, tableware, etc, even for our group of 12. Lovely renovated kitchen and living area, etc. Spacious game room, extra bedroom and living area in the walk-out lower level. The nice, sandy beach and deck area is great for families and kids, and the water was very swimmably warm and shallow all the way out to the end of the long dock. Boat rentals are available locally, as well, but we did not do that, preferring to use the provided kayak, paddleboards and paddleboat. Thanks to Susan and Nancy for a wonderful family vacation!

Beautiful Stay on Crystal Lake

The property is excellent for a multi-generational family stay. Location is beautiful, close to Beulah and Frankfort and facing the beautiful sunsets. Beach area across the street is perfect for the kids. Please note if you are renting a boat you will need to make mooring arrangements as the owners' boat hoist is occupied. Property was clean at check-in and check-out instructions were clear. Owners were very responsive to our needs and caretaker is close by as well. Our family had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful!!

We were so pleased with our stay. Location is great and the house itself is lovely. Full main floor update which is not reflected in current pictures. Multiple living spaces make the house so livable for a larger group. Super well appointed. Beach cabana is ideal. Will for sure be back!!

Beautifully Updated

My family owned this property for over 40 years and sold it 2 years ago. We loved it so much that we wanted to return and we were blown away by the updates and improvements that have been made to the house and beach. The kitchen is amazing and the beach has been greatly improved by the addition of sand and we loved the covered patio in the beach. Thank you for taking such good care of this place that we love so much and for allowing us to return to our favorite place in on earth. Crystal Lake is the best!

Blue Sky Days

It was easy to grab our beach gear and just cross the street to the beach. Host-provided stand up boards, rafts, paddle boat and more were big hit. Clean water and sandy beach were ours for the week.

This property was perfect for my family. Lots of space to be together or spread out. The kitchen was very well equipped. The views and beach access were a plus. I highly recommend this property and would return every year!!

Family vacation

Gorgeous location with great access to Crystal Lake. Beach seating, dock and SUPs included were awesome. House is large with lots of room for sleeping. Bathroom access/layout a bit awkward. Kitchen very well stocked for real cooking. Some minor maintenance issues (towel bars poorly installed) but nothing that prevented us enjoying the vacation. Overall, we had a great experience.

Amazing Ski Weekend!

This property exceeded our expectations! The home was immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed. The space itself was so calming and serene. We loved that the kids had a space to hang. Short 20 minutes drive to Crystal Mountain. Would highly recommend!

Great lakehouse

House was built for large groups and served us well. Everything was clean, accurate, accommodating. Some of the appliance are dated, but worked fine.

Week in Northern Michigan

We loved the property! It was very well supplied, and the home and it's location were great. My only complaint would be that it's not really 5 bedrooms. The fifth room barely fits a twin bed, with hardly any space around it. Otherwise it was ideal for our extended family and was better than we had hoped!

Fantastic Property

We had a terrific week on Crystal Lake in this large and spacious home. Easily accommodated 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids ages 7 thru 12), with plenty of room to host two additional families for the day. The beach is wide and deep, with a wonderful sitting area on the deck under the pergola (comfortable chairs, tables, etc) and remaining chairs / space on the beach itself. Lots of water toys for use (lily pad, 3 paddle boards, kayak, paddle boat) that kept 8 kids occupied for hours. House is perfectly situated at 5 minutes to Beulah, a little over 15 to Frankfort, 30 minutes to sleeping bear dunes. So much to do and see, and you can’t beat the clear blue water of the lake itself. Property is clean, well maintained, and fully stocked. 10/10 - would rent again without a second thought. We think our home offers both the coziness and spaciousness for a larger family or multiple families to enjoy a relaxing stay. We pride ourselves in the cleanliness and the well stocked amenities that include a gas grill, two large screen televisions in the first and main levels, beach chairs, and patio table and chairs outside each bedroom.

Enjoy the different shades of the Caribbean blue on Crystal Lake, known as one of the most underutilized lakes in Michigan, which makes it extremely family friendly.
