Welcome to the one of the closest cabin from Cherry Spring State Park (less than a mile)! It sits on around 5 acres of secluded cozy mountainside under dark skies.
Dog friendly | lots of parking space | fiber optic internet | 2 decks | fire-pit | Fireplace | Renovated in 2020 | Wildlife viewing and Star Gazing without getting out of cabin

Dog Friendly! Welcome responsible owners with well-mannered dogs. Sorry but cat and other animal not allowed. Dog fee is $70 per dog per night.

It has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 2 decks, fully stocked spacious kitchen, 6 chair dinning table set and spacious high ceiling living room for your family and friends. Includes a cozy reading room place.

Looking for clear skies

We loved the house. Wish there were instructions to turn the gas fireplace down. We plan on returning to hopefully clearer night skies for better star gazing

Great long weekend!

We had a wonderful long weekend in January! Didn't get to see many stars because of snow, but the snow day in and of itself was a welcome break from our normal lives. Note for future winter guests that the lock was pretty stuck when we got there due to the cold, so you may need to use a bit of muscle to get in if it's been very cold. But the owner was responsive to my texts/calls, and all was fine once we realized it was just stuck.The cabin itself was lovely and we had a very comfortable couple of days. It's adorably decorated, and the kids especially loved being up in the loft area.I'm already looking for another weekend in the summer to come back and try stargazing again, hopefully on some clearer nights!

Overall pleasant experience

Winter reservation. Communication was responded to in an efficient manner prior to arrival. lack of instruction with heating systems and outdated information on welcome board. Upstairs sleeping areas extremely warm in temperature. Bathroom dispensers did not operate properly, but there were supplies to supplement. Mattresses uneven. Pillows very soft.Well stocked kitchen and coffee area. Dining furniture beautiful but very heavy to move. Location down the road from Cherry springs State Park awesome. Road to Coudersport treacherous in many spots. Town of Coudersport okay for bar food and supermarket. About 20 minutes from the property .Kaytees restaurant Sunday brunch excellent. There's a tractor supply and a Sheetz convenience store and gas station and there's two dollar stores available. Well stocked kitchen and coffee. Bathrooms

It was just the two of us, so there was plenty of room! Great place for family gatherings, etc. Everything you can think of is provided. Wonderful property

Bears, oh my! Ok, maybe not lions and tigers, but there are bears. Fair warning! We were sitting at the fire pit and a cub and Mama showed up to see what we were up to

Four adults and a teenager had more than enough room. Well maintained property that felt cozy. We would recommend and stay again.

Location. Location!

Minutes to Cherry Springs State Park Sky viewing area. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and it was well-equipped. The fire pit area is fun! We brought wood. We ate all meals there. We were 4 adults. Almost had 6 but glad we didn't. The "loft" area is only a single bed. I guess the couch opens up but we didn't need that as the two couples had two separate rooms. Quiet! We didn't hear each other in the house and the area outside is so quiet too. So close to many hiking trails and parks and not too far from Coudersport. On our last evening we were sipping wine by the fire pit and we had a curious black bear stop by. He stood up behind the grasses a ways off. We carefully went into the house and then when we thought he was gone we went back out. He did circle around . Never came really close but we stayed in after that. He was so beautiful and fun to see! Lovely time! Thank you! Heads up : Google maps doesn't take you quite far enough to the correct place.

Perfect location and accommodations to see dark skies

We stayed one night and had a great time! Spent the day at Lyman Run SP fishing and kayaking, then checked in to Countless Stars. The accommodations provided for all of our needs (except a few minor things such as firewood which we did bring). The layout of the cabin is perfect for 2 couples. We had a nice cookout on the deck and then a campfire in the beautiful firepit area. Then when the sky got dark, we got to see the beautiful stars and Milky Way. It was perfect! Heard some coyotes howling later in the night. In the morning, we saw a beautiful sunrise and then we had coffee on the back deck. Then we made breakfast before packing out . Overall we were very pleased and our only wish was that we would have booked a longer stay. We would definitely rent this again!

well stocked, spotless and just as described! But kim was so kind an answered all of our questions quickly and easily. we enjoyed our long weekend and would definitely recommend this cabin to others!

Well Equipped and Clean

We loved the fire pit area and the deck, although the deck was peeling and a floorboard was sticking up which we had to place a chair over so that no one tripped on it. Dark dining area inside (although we ate all of our meals outside on the deck) and didn’t go with “cabin” description because it was somewhat formal and dark. The one twin bed is in a loft area so you hear EVERYTHING if you are staying in that room. The other upstairs bedroom had 2 twin beds - steep steps leading up to both upstairs areas and the bathroom was located downstairs vs upstairs which was a bit treacherous if you had to get up at night to use the bathroom. The downstairs bedroom had a queen bed and was spacious with its own bathroom. The house could benefit from some skylights to add light into the house. Thought there would be more of an open area for stargazing. Couldn’t figure out how to turn the deck light off, hard as we tried, which attracted a lot of bugs which would enter the house when you opened the door at night. The house was very clean, and extremely well equipped with everything we could ever need, which we appreciated! Lots of DVD movies to choose from. The host was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating whenever I messaged her. Updated kitchen and downstairs bathroom which were nice. Could use more silverware, we were constantly have to wash silverware after meals. Hot water is limited, so you will run out of hot water at the end of 2 showers and need to wait awhile.

Just needed a weekend away with family and friends an 1000% was accomplished here. The perfect amount of space for my dogs to run the fire place area just beautiful. Don't forget too look up into the amazing night sky...breathtaking. i appreciated everything about this property. Would 10/10 recommend

Nice place but not the propane smell

The house and property was nice. We couldn’t use the outside fire pit because of the snow. Plenty of room inside. The odor of propane was too much for us inside. We had to leave after just one night - not even 24 hours. We were very disappointed.

Beautiful area, pretty house!

My boyfriend and I have stayed in this cute little house for the new year. Overall we had a great experience, the internet / tv could have been better, the bedsheets smelled a bit old, bedrooms, bathrooms + kitchen was pretty clean though and the location of the property was incredible!!

Cabin in the woods

My husband, 2 kids, and parents stayed at the cabin. The cabin can sleep 5 adults. There is Queen bed in the master bedroom on 1st floor, two twin beds in upstairs bedroom, one twin bed in the loft above the living room. There is a sofa bed in a room off the dining area but it is not big enough for an adult, but fits a child. The cabin is centrally located if going to Kinzua Bridge State Park and PA Grand Canyon. It's a short drive to a Shop n Save. Check in was easy. The fire pit is awesome. The bathrooms have toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The kitchen is stocked with Cuisinart pots and pans, utensils, aluminum foil, trash bags, baggies. Stove is electric. We enjoyed our stay.

Incredible PA Wilds Experience

My wife and I went here to celebrate a milestone anniversary. Host was the most responsive and accommodating that we have dealt with. Property was immaculately clean and comfortable. Cherry Springs Park is less than a mile away but you can simply walk outside and look up from the front yard for the same experience. Multiple (3+) state parks within 10 minutes in any direction. PA Grand Canyon about 45 mins away. Quiet, tranquil get away for anyone looking for that. Loved it

Lovely Cabin in Potter County

We had a lovely time at Countless Stars Cabin. My husband and I came for a long weekend in the fall. We very much enjoyed ourselves and found the cabin comfortable, convenient, and accommodating. We will return again if the opportunity arises. One thing is for sure - make it a point to take in the stars at night. It truly is breathtaking. The owner had great communication and was very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend considering a stay here.

Not clean or as pictured, but great location

It looks clean and well kept online. However, the quality of the images shown in the listing do not reflect the status of the property in real life. We would not stay here again, or recommend it to other traverlers. There was mouse poop everywhere - in the drawers, on the towels to clean dishes, all over the floors. There is clearly an issue with mice as one jumped out of a pair of our shoes, which is expected in a remote cabin. However, we'd have appreciated the poop being cleaned up before we got there. The linen closet literally had linens thrown in it - who knew if they were clean or not since they were not folded. We washed everything in the on-site washer/dryer before we felt comfortable using it. The kitchen was missing most of the handles on the drawers/cabinets and every drawer/cabinet we opened was dirty/disorganized- it's not in the same shape as pictured. Furthermore, even though 2 bathrooms are shown... only 1 had water hot enough to shower in. The master was luke warm at best and the old thermostat on the wall buzzed every 2 minutes, which made it a "fun" room to sleep in. A heads up on some of the items you needed to bring yourself would also have been appreciated. For example, the firepit is clearly something this host wants to feature. However, we had to get our own firewood and kindling. It was easy enough to go .2 miles to buy, but that would have been nice to know since we arrived after dark. We also had to search the property to find all the chair cushions to eat at the outdoor dining table. Overall, we did not feel that our host had truly prepared for our arrival or taken care of the property adequately to rent it out. If the owner committed to understanding the guest experience and cleaning well, it would be a great property to rent to see the stars.

Nice, quiet cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The location and amenities were nice. My only complaint was the mouse droppings scattered throughout the property and heard them running around above us while trying to sleep.
