Cozy Mountain Cabin: Trails, Stargazing & Hot Tub Relax in this remodeled 3BR/2.5BA getaway! Perfect for adventurers, we offer a loop driveway for easy trailer parking with direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails.
Outdoor Living: Large deck, hot tub, fire pit, and gas grill.
Dark Skies: Stargaze from the yard or visit Cherry Springs (10 mins away).
Comfort: 2 King beds and a Queen bed with a modern kitchen and a 65-inch HDTV. Near top-tier hiking and fishing. Book your mountain escape today!

Secluded and nestled in the middle of 10 acres and surrounded by fields and mountains.

You will need a vehicle to get to area restaurants and stores. Plenty of parking and the driveway is a loop making it a breeze to bring your trailers/toys.
• Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is after 4:00 PM. Check-out is strictly by 10:00 AM. A fee of $150 may be charged for unauthorized late check-out.
• Occupancy: Maximum overnight guests: 8. No unregistered guests allowed.
• Parties/Events: No parties, large gatherings, or events are permitted.
• Quiet Hours: Please respect our neighbors. Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 7 AM.
• Smoking/Vaping: No smoking or vaping allowed inside the property.
• Pets: Pets are allowed with the payment of a pet fee.
• Cleaning & Tidiness: Please keep the property clean. Wash dishes after use. Place trash in designated bins.
• Damages: Please report any broken items or damages immediately. Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing items.
• Parking: Please park in gravel drive not in the yard.

The house was simply beautiful. Very cozy which was nice because it was quite cold during our stay. The hot tub, at night, in the dark and seeing the stars, was fantastic. This place is the PERFECT place to get away and do...nothing. And that was our goal. Pack board games, comfy clothes, and books and enjoy the solitude and quiet. The owner answered my questions quickly and very helpfully. The check-in was flawless. We're already talking about maybe visiting again in summer....

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was wonderful - very well equipped, comfortable, and spacious. An excellent location for dark skies and seeing stars. Fantastic hot tub on a roomy wrap-around porch, and nice Adirondack chairs around a fire pit in the front yard. The host was very responsive, and the instructions for the house were very thorough. Just one little quibble - the dirt road for the last quarter mile to get to the house isn't great. We made it with our Honda Accord but learned after scraping the bottom at one point to keep our wheels on the center hump in the road, which worked fine. It would not be a problem for vehicles with more clearance.

Everything about this property is awesome! The one owner Rick, which is the one i communicated with on our stay was very responsive if i had any qurstions. Its really quiet and the bed is extremely comfortable, had everything we needed and the hot tub was amazing after all the hiking we did. We were lucky to stay there before the one cabin went up next door, that will make it not as secluded but still a very nice place, the locals are all nice and when you are there, make sure to visit the Germania Store just down the road, they have amazing bakery items! Also, the resturant around the corner from the store has some delicious food. I'd like to thank the Cleveland's for sharing this beautiful place, it was an awesome time and we didnt want to leave.

Property was beautiful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Property pwner had everything set up very well for renters. It was secluded and beautiful. Would rent there again!

Almost Perfect Stat & Location

Owners made it easy for us just to enjoy the stay and location. Had one minor hiccup but other that all 3 nights went smoothly and I would recommend the property for a vacation.

Highly recommend

Everything was as stated. Clean, comfortable, A amenities, excellent views, peaceful property. Communication with property manager was excellent as well. Both my 18-year old and 9-year old kids loved it! We plan to book again!

Dark sky stargazing

This is one of the best VRBO rentals we have stayed at. We are VRBO owners and know what it takes to get consistent 5 star ratings. I am a recent retiree who has taken up amateur astronomy. This place has a great DARK sky, almost as good as Cherry Sorings and MUCH more comfortable and convenient. We have nothing but high praise for this property

Perfect getaway

This property is truly amazing! The owners thought of everything! It did not feel like a rental at all. We actually overpacked because we didn’t expect so many amenities to be included. We hope to return again soon!

February Birthday/Anniversary trip!

Super impressive home in the woods. We stayed four nights at a great price. Extras were great like soap for dishes, hands, laundry. So quiet and peaceful here. Great time hope to return in spring to see more animals and the stars. It was cloudy most days and below zero one night! Car had a tough time on the iced roads but we made it! Amazing time we will remember forever. Hot tub made the trip extra special. The guest book is full of fun stories from other renters. All the windows were great. Absolutely gorgeous views. What a quest from Cape May NJ! Even went to Canada one day! 10/10

Me time

I decided after 34 years in the chimney cleaning business and fall my busiest time of year, that it was my turn to get to enjoy the season. The hot tub was amazing! The dark skies peace and quiet like no other.The weather was absolutely perfect the entire stay leading to the most amazing sunrises every morning. I visited the shops in Galeton and Wellsboro. Went to the PA Grand Canyon. All easy to get to. Listened to the coyotes howling and saw many white tail deer frequenting the field. Took a walk in the woods and saw lots of interesting fungi. Even though 80% of the leaves had fallen before my arrival, I still would not have changed a thing accept maybe a companion to share with ;) Thank you to the Clevlands for such a wonderful home to have this experience.

Amazing Stay!

Had an amazing time for our honeymoon! Watching the stars both at the cabin and at Cherry Springs! Made dinner around the fire pit most nights and got to visit a lot of other cool towns and places. The view of the PA Grand Canyon was amazing! We will for sure be back!

Beautiful

This rental is perfect if you are looking for an off-the-beaten path getaway. Everything was as detailed in the description. View is beautiful and the house has all the comforts we wanted. Very clean and loved the nice kitchen comforts….nice pots and pans is always a plus including the outdoor griddle!

Perfect Mountain Retreat!

We can’t say enough great things about our stay! The home was spotless and as described, had “all the amenities”! Decor was awesome and location was perfect! We enjoyed the view and sounds of nature, along with the much needed, peace and quiet that the location offered! Also, we were able to enjoy some great stargazing from the homes property! Our only complaint… having to leave! Thank you, and looking forward to our next visit!

House was amazing

The house was beautiful. It was clean and had beautiful views from every room. We loved watching a heard of deer each evening. The hot tub was a great plus as we and watched the sky at night. The kitchen was well stocked. We hiked at the Grand Canyon of PA, that was amazing. And make sure to check out A Stroll Down Memory Lane store in town, we all purchased something. We would love to stay at this home again in the future.
