Sumner fun is upon us!
This is a great location for site seeing Northern Michigan. You will have access to 3 pools, 1 being our own association pool. Bring your boat to visit our beautiful lakes.
We have a special boat parking lot.
Walk to skiing, golf or enjoying everything beautiful Northern Michigan has to offer.
The condo is a short walk to the slopes and Ivan's Mountain Side Grill where there is food and live entertainment on Winter weekends only. Not open summer.

The Village is very quiet during the Spring and summer months. Unique to this association only, is our own OUTDOOR POOL!
You will also have free acces to the Schuss indoor pool and hot tub and the Summitt, Lakeview Hotel indoor pool and hot tub and out door pool that overlooks Lake Bellaire.
Shanty Creek Skiing and Winter activities:
Schuss Mountain has long defined skiing in Michigan. So it’s no surprise Shanty Creek was rated 'Best Downhill Terrain in the Midwest' by OnTheSnow.com’s visitors. With 53 runs on its two mountains and featuring a terrain park.
We have some of the best golf courses in Michigan. We are on the Schuss course. Close by is The Chief, The Legend, Summitt, Hawkseye, The Farm.
Many of our guests use our condos as a home base for day trips. You are only 30-40 minutes from Charlevoix, Petoskey, and Traverse City. Shop, go to the casinos, fish, boat on beautiful Torch Lake, sail in the Bay, go to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Bellaire has wonderful restaurants, quaint shopping and you'll find a grocery store and some speciality food shops to stock up your condo and cook a great meal. Swim, boat, use the pools and hot tubs, sightsee. There is always something to do.

I will consider a one night stay if not a weekend.
All of my condos are professionally cleaned between guests.

Cozy and comfort with cabin vibes

The condo was very clean had everything we needed. Very spacious and a lot of room. Beautiful view. The pool area indoors was nice and the hot tub also. Would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Quiet

Finding the actual villa proved quite difficult. The host did take the time to write specific directions, but they were still not clear even for three different adults. That was the worst part. Other than that, everything worked and it was a quiet peaceful stay. The beds and couch were all very comfortable. Thanks for the stay!

Perfect getaway

We had the most relaxing few days at this condo! It was clean and cozy upon arrival and Connie was so kind to text us as soon as we arrived. The beds are comfortable, nicely appointed appliances and the wood burning fireplace was amazing! We used the Lakeview Hotel pool pass to play at the indoor pool which was so fun. Beautiful views of Schuss mountain and quick drive to Bellaire. Appreciated all of the food recommendations, everything was delicious. We’ll definitely be back! :)

Great place to stay, but no pool available

We were delighted with the cono and the little extra special touches to mske it homey. We built a fire and were able to enjoy the view. We had our grandsonwith us sowecreally anticipated a swim! But when we pulled up to the main lodge, it looked empty except for the workers on the roof. The roofers took us to the pool entrance, but there was a big sign stating "pool closed for season" This was the only disappointment we experienced on our stay. We really had a blast at the skywalk!

Although the property exactly communicates right through the app. The owner of the property was able to help. Got into the apartment and it seem it wasn't clean from last stay. There was hair in the bathroom tub, bedroom covers and pillows. Amazing views and place but just wish it clean beforehand and better communicated of where the apartment complex was.

Nice & quiet

Condo has all we need for our time there, We were cooking every days. Small stoves, oven toaster, coffee makers, and grill. It was nice and quiet even on Labor day weekend. And Property manager was answer my question right away after I contact her.

Torch Lake

It is a great place to use as a home base. Easy, close drive to Bellaire and Alden. What great little towns to visit. Shorts Brewery has great food and great service, highly recommended.

Wouldn’t go back

Condo was clean, but outdated. Nice view from the deck. We had poor phone service and there was no Wi-Fi in the condo. That didn’t matter much to us, as we spent most of our time outdoors and out and about. Really only slept there. We tried to contact Connie twice but she didn’t respond to our messages. We also struggled to get in the condo because the key code changed and we were not notified. We love the area, but wouldn’t go back to this condo.

Great location, fully stocked and perfect ski getaway

At first, I was a little surprised to be walking straight into the king bedroom/entryway but it ended up being fine. There is a nice little partion you can use if needed (we didn't). Compared to other places we have stayed, we were impressed that the small kitchen really was stocked with coffee, creamer, a variety of spices and oils. As well as all of the cooking utensils and pots/pans we needed and more including crockpots, blenders, etc. It really had everything. I was excited that there were actually full shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles because we had forgotten ours. Also, upon arrival, there was a very loud dog next door that would not stop barking. I was worried it would ruin our stay, but once inside, you couldn't hear it at all! And most importantly, the king bed was comfortable!

Perfect stay at a nice condo!

We had a wonderful stay for our weekend and trip to Bellaire and Torch Lake! We were able to keep our boat on site and the condo was spacious and clean. We highly recommend!

Family enjoyed this last minute booking. Connie was very accommodating and helpful. Location was great and near everything we needed. Outside seating, games, and DVD player were a plus. Very clean. We will definitely rent again!

Perfect for skiing

We booked last minute and the Property Manager Connie was awesome to work with. She was very responsive and had this unit available. It is nice and close to the slopes we walked over to the pink lift. We came back mid-day to warm up and have something to eat. I would stay here again.

Refund expected

No where near close to what was advertised. Have had good luscious with VRBO in the past and disappointed that this property was not vetted for conditions as advertised. No heat, delaminating flooring, smelly and overall was not of VRBO caliber. Manager not willing to refund our $$

CK Schuss Mountain Condo Rentals LLC has grown from one condo to now 16 condos in Schuss Village near Bellaire Michigan. Our area has something to do year around. Winter, skiing both downhill and cross country, dog sledding, tubing. Summer has endless fun things to do. Golf, boating, biking, hiking, shopping, wine tasting, canoeing and kayaking. A major attraction is Shorts Brewery in Bellaire. The quaint town of Bellaire is 6miles away. 15 minutes away you can spend the day on Torch Lake and stop at the Dockside restaurant for dinner.

For summer we are the only association in Schuss with our own outdoor pool just steps away from the condo.
