STUNNING LAKEFRONT RETREAT! Beautiful Lake Antioch. Beautiful large kitchen / gathering area equipped with stainless appliances, granite counter tops and cherry cabinets. Watch beautiful sunsets from your spacious 20×40 deck with luxurious resort style furniture. Enjoy the private beach area and pier, two Kayaks and a paddleboat. You'll have outstanding fishing and swimming. Walking distance to town and the best restaurants and bars, live music and concerts in the park. Winter months offer the best ice fishing around, snowmobiling, and Wilmot/Vail ski resort only 15 min drive. 4500 sq ft.

This home lacks for nothing. Six + seat lower level bar, (former bar from the world famous Cubby Bear in Chicago), full size Brunswick pool table, 50 inch TV, full size fridge, dishwasher, full bathroom and plenty of seating and gathering room.
The main floor boasts a wide open floor plan with a 55 inch TV, stone gas fireplace, plenty of seating, dining room that seats 8, large granite kitchen counters, and a wetbar. There's also a beautiful four season sun room with floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors that can be opened up to give the room an open porch feel. There's a giant foyer entrance, a powder room and a large mud room where shoes and coats and gear can be kept. There's also a spacious laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.
Upstairs are four roomy bedrooms and two full baths. The master suite has large windows with lake views, a stone gas fireplace, a 40 inch TV, and a large bathroom with double sinks and huge walk in shower! Two of the other three bedrooms have magnificent lake views. The third full bathroom has double sinks also.
The lower level has a beautiful bar that includes a full size fridge, dishwasher, sink and tons of bar space, counter space, cabinets and a great view of the lake. There's also a full size Brunswick pool table, Couches, 50'' TV, day bed that sleeps two and a full bath!
In the warmer months there is a pier on beautiful Lake Antioch with cozy adirondack chairs perfect for fishing, or enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. The new firepit is great for evening gatherings.
The huge 20x40 deck has a spectacular view over the lake and is perfect for relaxing outside or even hosting a game of corn hole!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at the house. We appreciated the spacious layout and all the wonderful amenities, from the kayaks, paddle boats, and rafts to the quiet sunroom, spacious kitchen, and great room. The bar and pool table on the lower level were a fantastic addition, and the large deck allowed all eight of us to gather comfortably for grilled meals. We also made great use of the fire pit for s'mores.The owner is very attentive and answered our questions and concerns immediately. We also enjoyed exploring Antioch; it is a lovely town with great cafes, shops, and convenient grocery stores nearby.

We had a lovely stay with 9 people over three generations. The house was very spacious, with choices of sleeping arrangements, a basement for the teens, and an office for a work from home situation, and a sunroom for reading and puzzling. There was lots to do onsite: kayaking, fishing, swimming, bbq-ing, enjoying the fire pit. We barely left! George was easy to work with and responded promptly to all of our needs. Thank you for helping our family make an 80th bday celebration a memorable one!

This is a great property. We loved staying here. My kids took the paddle boat out for a spin and had fun. My son and I played pool both nights. Great place to relax and enjoy the area. Beautiful sunsets. George was very helpful when we had issues getting into the home and came as soon as he could to help. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We love the home. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

My husband and I and our two puppies had a great time getting away for the weekend! Lots of places to take the dogs for nice hikes. The view is amazing. House is awesome.

This place was amazing. It was the first place we stayed where we actually caught fish, even the kids were catching a lot. The rooms were very spacious & lots of gathering places to accommodate everyone. It is shallow pretty far out so that's also nice for kids/ safety. The host gave us a lot of great tips on food & activities. Downtown was cute, I wouldn't say you could walk with kids unless there was a path we didn't find but it is close. Overall this is a great area, lots to do & the lake was perfect size & great fishing.

Thanks so much for the great review, Angella! I’m really glad you guys had such a good time, especially with the kids catching fish. That makes me happy to hear. Just so you know for next time, there actually is a walking path to town. It’s about 20 feet in front of the front door, off to the left through the wooded area. From there, it’s about a two block walk to the restaurants, shops, and concerts in the park. Maybe next time! Thanks again for staying with us.

We designed this home and raised our children here. We love it. These days we spend a lot of time in Florida and that's why we put this home on VRBO. We think you'll love it. It's big and open and great for entertaining. You'll find that there are a lot of spots to relax. The area is packed with things to do. Many within walking distance. We hope you enjoy our home!

The beautiful view of the lake is only the beginning. There's so much to do including: A private beach and pier, two Kayaks, and a paddleboat. Outstanding fishing. Walking distance to town and the best restaurants and bars, live music and concerts in the park. Winter months offer the best ice fishing around along with snowmobiling, and Wilmot/Vail ski resort only a15 minute drive away. 4500 sq feet of living space. The path to the north of the house is about 50 feet long and there is tons of stuff within walking distance. There's a large liquor store, Walgreens, McDonald's, KFC, Taco Bell, Chinese food, Bars, Restaurants, Movie Theater, shopping, Dairy Queen, Dunkin Donuts, and a park with a band shell.
There's tons more only a few minutes away including Walmart, boat rentals for the Chain of Lakes / Fox River and more. Drive four miles and take the ferry to Blarney Island - Key west of the Midwest! They have the best live bands along with food and drink and are open until 2am!
On Lake Antioch, (our lake), the fishing is excellent! The water by our beach is shallow and great for kids. Only electric motors are allowed. The deepest point in the lake is only twelve feet deep so we occasionally have lily pads and seaweed in the water.
